Omega is important because she and Boba Fett have Jango Fetts Genetic code DNA. They are the only two……but Boba Fetts code name was Alpha until he got his name from Jango. While Omega never got a name. So she remained Omega.
Sadly this was the last time Tom Kane was able to have his voice in Star Wars animation because he had a stroke around the time this came out and it caused him to lose his voice unfortunately
Fun fact AZI-345211896246498721347 is the same droid that helped Fives during his last order 66 ARC, so seeing him help Echo, Fives's closest brother brought a tear to my eye the first time i saw this
So alot of the Syfo Dyas lore is in Clone Wars Season 6, Tales of The Jedi, and the book, Dooku: Jedi Lost. Syfo Dyas, prior to the events of the Naboo Blockade in Phantom Menace, saw a vision of the rise of the Empire, and requested that the Jedi Council build an army for the Republic. They saw him as a warmonger and rejected his request. Then he went to Kamino and requested the creation of a Clone Army. He did request the Inhibitor Chips originally, but mainly to make sure they would execute any Rogue Jedi. Shortly after this Palpatine learned about his plans and told Dooku to take care of it. Dooku hired the Pyke Syndicate to assassinate him when Chancellor Vallorum sent Syfo Dyas on a mission on the moon of Obedia, they shot his ship down and sent his corpse to be cremated on Felucia. Then later Dooku found Jango Fett after testing him, to see if he's worthy of being the Clone Template, then Dooku, disguised as a Jedi went to Kamino and handed over the Inhibitor Chips with the Protocol 66 directive on them to the Kaminoans. And shortly after this he erased Kamino from the Jedi Archives, using Syfo Dyas's security clearance.
Grand Inquisitor: Tell me, jedi. What was her last word to you? Kanan: _Run._ It’s AZI! The droid that helped Fives when he found out about the control chips! I assume Rana was thinking of the Dark Trooper droids. The training droids do look like that because they’re early versions of the imperial ones shown in Rebels, whose appearance was inspired by the Dark Troopers from Legends. Although there’s been no direct connection between them established in canon. •Dark Troopers were brought into canon pretty early through a mobile game that’s been shut down for a while, but they didn’t appear in anything else until Mandalorian S2 Nala Se was on my shit list for her part in screwing over Fives. This is a decent start to redemption.
So excited for another Star Wars animated TV show journey! Also, it fills me with so much joy hearing you guys talk about Star Wars, remembering many aspects, and connecting them together. These moments are what we all hoped for when you guys started down the path of Clone Wars.
clone troopers didn't get bad aim after 66, the ones who DO have bad aim are non clone stormtroopers. you guys watched rebels rex was fine, in fact he said it was because of the helmets he couldnt see anything.
There’s also dialogue you can overhear from a Storm Trooper in Jedi Survivor where he implies their poor quality of rations is affecting their coordination.
WOW! For it being two years since you guys have seen Clone Wars, you were on point! Kannan's master, the Inhibitor Chips, Saw Gerrera, Omega being an enhanced clone, and even remembering Cut Lawerence, you guys recalled it all! I am even more HYPED for your reactions now! Let's go! :)
33:37 Hello! Random Star Wars fan here to answer your questions! Based on what you've seen so far, it's been revealed that Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas was plagued with visions of potential futures including one where the Jedi and the Republic were destroyed and replaced with a great evil. Desperate to prevent this, Sifo-Dyas attempted to pressure the Jedi Council and the Senate to build a new army for the Republic to defend themselves, but he was frequently dismissed and accused of war mongering, something his peers found especially disturbing as Sifo-Dyas was a member of the Jedi Council. Unable to convince anyone of his vision, Sifo-Dyas turned to his childhood friend Dooku, who at this point had left the Jedi Order due to the increasing corruption in the Republic he witnessed in Tales of the Jedi episodes 2 & 3. After leaving the Jedi, Dooku would become one of the richest individuals in the galaxy upon inheriting his birthright as the new Count of his homeworld Serenno, where he also inherited his family's vast fortunes. By this time, Dooku was also in league with the Sith already, being aware of Sidious and Maul as we see in Tales of the Jedi episode 4, and under the Sith's urging Dooku convinced Sifo-Dyas to commission a clone army for the Republic in secret, directing him to the isolated ocean world of Kamino and offering to help fund the clone army's creation with his newfound riches. Trusting his childhood friend, Sifo-Dyas did as Dooku requested, using his statis as a Master of the Jedi Council and Dooku's riches to place the initial order for the clone army sometime before The Phantom Menace. Then, sometime after placing that order, Dooku hired the Pykes to assassinate Sifo-Dyas, shooting down his personal shuttle while returning to Coruscant from a mission for Chancellor Valorum (the guy in charge before Palpatine). With Sifo-Dyas' death, Dooku returned to the Jedi Temple, something he was allowed to do as a former Jedi Master, and used Sifo-Dyas' clearance codes as a member of the Jedi Council to covertly erase all information surrounding Kamino from the Jedi Temple Archives, hiding the already isolated and little known planet from the Jedi until the time was right for the army to be revealed in Attack of the Clones. After that, Dooku fully fell to the Dark Side as seen in Tales of the Jedi episode 4, becoming Darth Tyrannus, and from that point on Tyrannus became the main point of contact for the clone army, being responsible for hiring Jango Fett to become the prime genetic template for the clones and ordering the Kaminoans to install inhibitor chips into the clones, claiming that Sifo-Dyas created them to prevent any rogue Jedi from betraying the Republic using the clones under their command, ensuing that in the event of encountering a rogue Jedi the clones would destroy them without hesitation, placing the protection of the Republic over their affiliation with the Jedi. This was, of course, a lie as Clone Protocol 66 and the inhibitor chips were only ever planned to be used to wipe out the Jedi Order in its entirety, something the Kaminoans were never fully aware of because Dooku and Sidious were the ones to program the inhibitor chips not the Kaminoans. Hope this helped!
Not gonna lie. I was ready to hate Omega when I saw the commercials. I was like "Ok, here is the obligatory kid character who's going to need to be rescued all the time." But by the end of the first episode, she won me over and now I think she's one of the best kid characters in Star Wars. She's young and so she is vulnerable, but she isn't just an adult in a child's body as so many other kid characters are and she's not an annoying little twerp like all the others are. She's curious, she's naive, she needs help, she gets herself into trouble. But she doesn't complain, she takes things in stride, and when she does make a mistake she learns from it. It's a very realistic representation I also absolutely adore her interactions with the bad batch. Whoever animated them deserves a raise because I love watching their facial expressions. She's got this innocent neutral expression where you can tell that she's always observing and taking in everything in a "Cool! So that's how it works" kind of manner. And the Batch each interact with her in their own way. Hunter being the protective dad, Wrecker being like the fun uncle or older brother who is about as childish as she is, Tech talks to her like she is an equal and perfectly capable of understanding him, and Echo is quite stern with her, like he's the disciplinarian, but it's coming from a place of care. This is easily my favorite show that came out of the Disney era (last season of Clone Wars doesn't count)
Fun Fact: Michelle Ang was in the 'Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462 webisodes where she played the Asian badass Alex. Who I really liked, but I guess they never did anything more with.
Syfo Dyas was a really Jedi Master that died just before Episode I Count Dooku used his name and pretended to be him and comissioned the production of the clone army
It may not be as important to the overall Star Wars lore as Clone Wars, but Bad Batch is just as good of a show if not better imo. Beautiful animation too. It’s a long ways away for you guys but the way they end the show is perfect
Sifo-Dyas was a Jedi Master with a powerful gift of foresight. He had visions of the Clone Wars and started advocating for a Grand Army of the Republic to combat the imminent threat. He was booted from the Jedi Council for his trouble. He contacted the Kaminoans before Kamino was erased from the Jedi archives. He went to Lama Su to create the clone army and pretended that he was acting on behalf of the Senate. Palpatine and Dooku arranged for Dyas to be killed and erased Kamino from the archives, ensuring the clone army would remain a secret until the time was right.
5:38 Fun fact: Notice that Depa Billaba did not kill her clone commander. Commander Havoc would eventually go on to continue hunting Caleb. In the comics, he actually grows to realize that Order 66 was wrong. So he ends up sacrificing himself and blowing up the pursuit craft so that Caleb can escape after this. When the others questioned what he was doing, he simply replied, "Making things right."
The Comic is so much better than the opening of this episode. I know why they did this, but that is no excuse. Would it be so much better if it was a different planet, a different Jedi in a different Padawan? Think about it they can go hard core with it, the same whimsical opening, but it gets dark quickly when Crosshair guns down the kid. Then the rest of the show can happen as it’s done there’s no reason to have 99 be on Kaller.
I have no idea what it is but that last shot of this episode with the hyperspace jump reflecting in Omega's eyes makes me tear up every time, there's such a sense of wonder from it. This show is just peak Star Wars all round
Depe bellaba Was actually in the movie the phantom menace. At the end, during that orb ceremony and she was in episode, two attack of the clones for a few seconds.
24:11 I love how Dee Baker does Echo's voice. It always sounds like he has a stuffed up nose. I like to think it's because he now has circuitry in his sinuses.
Suraj walked riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight up to the line of getting Omega immediately lol. "She had a feeling, she had a sense". Oh buddy, so close.
0:57 Tbh, I would rather have a good adaption of the excellent Plagueis (including young Palpatine) novel. 2:26 Does he know that Mace Windu was her master? 5:01 It's interesting cause in Kanan's comic Order 66 (which came before this episode) the Bad Batch was nowhere to be found and everything transpired quite differently (it was night time and the 2 jedi where sitting at a campfire together and joking/laughing with their clones when the order was issued, for example). The clones for example had light red color designs on their armor instead of plain white and light green. In that comic we also see basically the full extent of Kanan's escape. 11:48 That's the same droid that helped Fives in the Clone Wars Order 66 arc.
Bad Batch is a full three amazing seasons long, and unlike some Star Wars shows, it has now reached it's intended conclusion. There is hope though for more animated Star Wars continuing the story after its conclusion though
I'm so excited to rewatch the series with you guys! I rewatched the Clone Wars Bad Batch episodes in preparation for this--both the original story reels and the final versions! I remember when the story reels first came out, all the way back in 2015, and rewatching them after having seen this series was very... interesting. The character designs changed a lot when the series got revived, and I've gotten so used to their look in this series that seeing their original designs again was kind of creepy (except for Crosshair, whose old look was EXTREMELY creepy!) Moving on to this premiere, I have a lot of thoughts! First of all, I remember how bittersweet it was hearing Tom Kane do the opening narration, since this episode came out after his stroke that forced him to retire from voice acting. Also, I was initially disappointed that this episode began by retconning the Kanan comic book series, although someone later pointed out to me that the events in the comic are Kanan's memories, which were likely distorted by the trauma and years of alcoholism, so I have accepted this one. I'd like to point out that Nala Se first appeared in the third episode of the Clone Wars, in which she was depicted as kind. Then she returned in Season 6, in which she was an antagonist. And now this series depicts her as kind again. Even though it improved my opinion of her, I will never forgive her for what she did to Fives! On that note, AZI-3 is the same droid who helped Fives learn about the inhibitor chips, so it's fitting that we see him again helping Echo. And, of course, OMEGA! Watching her introduction again after the series has ended was so nostalgic! I had forgotten how innocent she used to be, which makes her evolution over the course of the series kind of sad, actually. On a negative note, this season came out during a traumatic period in my life, and certain sights and sounds in this episode triggered some bad memory flashes, which did detract from my enjoyment of it somewhat. But I still really enjoyed rewatching this episode, and I look forward to the rest of the series!
Syfo’s name was used to create the clone army but it was done by Tyrannus/Dooku under Syfo’s name, Dooku was also responsible for removing Kamino from the Jedi archive as seen in tales of the Jedi. Everything Dooku did was at the request of Palpatine. Some of this gets covered in the clone wars arc (The biochip conspiracy) about Fives. The medical droid (AZI-3) from bad batch is also from that episode, remember when he teams up with Fives so they know what stage embryo the inhibitor chip was planted? This may be a little all over the place, but I hope it jogs your memory at the very least
Apparently Acolyte was actually the most expensive Star Wars show to make per episode. So it just wasn't worth the cost. Shows like Mandalorian and Andor are cheaper to make and bring in a wider audience.
It released that acolyte cost closer to $300 million compared to the original $220 million. Disney doesn't care about politics, only money. And if they lost hundreds of millions of dollars on 1 season, there's no way they're doing that again for a 2nd season.
Saw Gerrera was introduced in The Clone Wars during season 5, years before Rogue One. He wasn't originally black when he started out, but then Forest Whitaker was cast. Also, it was hard for me to sympathize with Nala Se after she sabotaged Fives and got him killed. Speaking of Fives!(3rd edit): AZ was the droid that helped him get off Kamino in CW S6.
its been like what? 2 years? and we told them countless times that stormtroopers are NOT clonetroopers, like at all, and i'm pretty sure the shows have disclosed that many times...
Syfo Dyas arranged the production of the Clone Army by the Kaminoans. Palpatine knew about this, and Dooku paid the Pyke Syndicate to shoot down Syfo Dyas' ship, the ship crashed, and Dyas died. Dyas' assistant survived the crash and was imprisoned by the Pykes The production of the Clone Army continued but overseen by Palpatine, the Kaminoans were unaware of Dyas' death, the Jedi Council knew but not of the Clone Army until Obi wan Kenobi found out.
Hey @The Normies the droid AZ was in the episode of clone wars that fives was dealing with kamino stuff AZ was helping him get close to find out about order 66 by looking at clone Tup's chip AZ first shows up in the episode of clone wars called conspirarcy.
We are up to episode 9 on our website!! Become a member now! thenormies.com/
where is DOCTOR SLEEP?
Just a quick calling out of @blindwave I see 😂
Omega is important because she and Boba Fett have Jango Fetts Genetic code DNA. They are the only two……but Boba Fetts code name was Alpha until he got his name from Jango. While Omega never got a name. So she remained Omega.
Fun fact, Crosshair was modeled after Clint Eastwood
The monster anime
Bad Batch also known as Dee Bradley Baker talks to himself for 3 seasons.
This is also how I describe the umbara arc in clone wars
That man deserved an Emmy
And its fucking EPIC!!
Feat. Michelle Ang
Sadly this was the last time Tom Kane was able to have his voice in Star Wars animation because he had a stroke around the time this came out and it caused him to lose his voice unfortunately
Fitting considering this episode is the end of an era
Fun fact AZI-345211896246498721347 is the same droid that helped Fives during his last order 66 ARC, so seeing him help Echo, Fives's closest brother brought a tear to my eye the first time i saw this
Domino squad lives on...
I'm kinda happy they reacted to rebels first, loved that kanan reaction.
And the later character's appearance will be great too
As soon as they recognized Depa Billaba as Kannan's master, I knew that this was going to be a great reaction.
AZI-3 is the same medical droid we see helping Fives in his final arc, when he discovers the truth behind the inhibitor chips.
Sad Fact: this was the last voice performance of Tom Kane before he lost his voice to a stroke
Wait a minute we’ve been waiting for these guys to watch the bad batch for 3 years?!! 😱😱😱😱😱
Its been 7 years but finally we are here at PEAK animation 👌
What do you mean 7 years?
@@HaydenWerrenMaybe 7 years between seasons 6 and 7?
I think I can speak for everyone who has wanted this with a big, collective: "FINALLY!"

Asking Eric if he's memorized AZ's whole numerical name is peak meta fandom comedy.
There were two unaltered clones created, the first was Alpha, the Second was Omega. The first one was payment to the host donor Jango Fett.
Grand Inquisitor: Tell me, jedi. What was her last word to you?
Kanan: _Run._
It’s AZI!
•Dark Troopers were brought into canon pretty early through a mobile game that’s been shut down for a while, but they didn’t appear in anything else until Mandalorian S2
Nala Se was on my shit list for her part in screwing over Fives. This is a decent start to redemption.
The Bad Batch is top tier Star Wars storytelling.
Even with a bunch of filler
10:12
No, she speaking with a New Zealand accent, the actress who voiced her is Michelle Ang who happens to be from New Zealand. 🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿
So excited for another Star Wars animated TV show journey! Also, it fills me with so much joy hearing you guys talk about Star Wars, remembering many aspects, and connecting them together. These moments are what we all hoped for when you guys started down the path of Clone Wars.

The standard Storm Trooper blaster is really cheap and can't shoot straight for shit too.
Also stormtroopers are picked based on political loyalty over skill
Let's go! :)
Crosshair has always been aggressive and had a slight edge, so when he talks that way it’s not too much out of the ordinary.
33:37 Hello! Random Star Wars fan here to answer your questions!

Thank you. This really helped. Hope they see this because the Sifo-Dyas story confused them as well.
Not gonna lie. I was ready to hate Omega when I saw the commercials. I was like "Ok, here is the obligatory kid character who's going to need to be rescued all the time."
But by the end of the first episode, she won me over and now I think she's one of the best kid characters in Star Wars.
It's a very realistic representation
I also absolutely adore her interactions with the bad batch.
Yeah she gets surprisingly (well maybe not all things considered) competant as the series goes on.
Wrecker and Omega engrave themselves into your heart ep 1 and stays there for life😊
Yes!! We're FINALLY here at Bad Batch! It'll be nice to experience the adventures of these characters again!
Fun Fact: Michelle Ang was in the 'Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462 webisodes where she played the Asian badass Alex. Who I really liked, but I guess they never did anything more with.
The plane crashed with almost no survivors. I'd like to see her again.
So glad you guys managed to get around to this! Looking forward to more!
I love when Star Wars animation just straight up uses actual movie audio.
Bad batch already released its final season just in case y’all didn’t know. So glad y’all are finally watching this
The lighting, shadows and scale of large objects are so good in this show. I'm unbelievable at some times.
Season 3 is even better specialy at ep 1 , 3 and 15
The Grand Inquisitor at the end of Rebels Season 1 asked Kanan what his master's final word to him was.
"Run."
I'm so glad you guys finally started bad batch. I have to say it's my favorite star wars show and can guarantee you haven't seen the best yet.
Syfo Dyas was a really Jedi Master that died just before Episode I
Count Dooku used his name and pretended to be him and comissioned the production of the clone army
I like how Hunter is basically Rambo
I think he's more like Solid Snake.
Finally, only wish they bring this quality to their current live actions.
8:40 Chris still doesn’t understand that Stormtroopers are not clones?
Yup not a true fan
It is indeed Freddie playing a kid. He was uneasy to come back, he’s very protective of Kanan’s legacy, but I’m glad he did.
It was A Retcon from Kanan Comics how he survived the purge they adapted a bit in this episode
5:38 Fun fact: Notice that Depa Billaba did not kill her clone commander.
Commander Havoc would eventually go on to continue hunting Caleb. In the comics, he actually grows to realize that Order 66 was wrong. From here on, it's just great cinematography in EVERY shot in every episode 👌👌👌
Excited for you all to see Crosshair’s arc throughout this series
I have no idea what it is but that last shot of this episode with the hyperspace jump reflecting in Omega's eyes makes me tear up every time, there's such a sense of wonder from it. This show is just peak Star Wars all round
Depe bellaba Was actually in the movie the phantom menace. At the end, during that orb ceremony and she was in episode, two attack of the clones for a few seconds.
The Bad Batch has begun!!!!! Also Crosshair is absolutely the best ✊🏿
0:54 idc what anyone says the acolyte was the worst thing to happen in star wars
Glad yall are watching this. This show is fantastic.
Spidey's watched this show before? he said "I forgot how good this episode was" at 29:28
24:11 I love how Dee Baker does Echo's voice.
I can't wait to be on this journey with you guys
"I think he's fine"
Hahahahahaha. Oh you sweet summer child.
11:48 That's the same droid that helped Fives in the Clone Wars Order 66 arc.
You said it, man. "I think a lot of them have to die. We've seen a lot of Star Wars, and we haven't seen a bunch of clones."
Bad Batch is a full three amazing seasons long, and unlike some Star Wars shows, it has now reached it's intended conclusion. There is hope though for more animated Star Wars continuing the story after its conclusion though
"flarket bubstitute " sounds like a joke for a captain marvel wolverine crossover (flerkin/bub) lmao
It's pretty obvious what happens to the clones. Slowly exterminated
You guys should definitely watch more of the Bad Batch. It's an excellent Star Wars series, besides the Clone Wars and the Rebels.
Finally it's happening 🙌🏻 The Dad Batch reactions ❤ Fun Fact Omega was designed after Temuera Morrison's late sister. Especially the hair colour.
8:31 with thunderous applause
I just realized that Hunter is like Aragorn.
The “leader” type character who has tracking skills.
I'm so glad you guys are finally starting the bad batch you'll definitely love this series!
You know how long I've been waiting for this? Woooimanouttomakeanameformyselfhere
You just make sure people know what happened here today!
34:45 The homeless Clone was in Kenobi, actually played by Temuer Morrison.
AZ was the Droid from Clone Wars that was helping Fives.
EZ is the droid that helped Fives.
I'm so excited to rewatch the series with you guys! I rewatched the Clone Wars Bad Batch episodes in preparation for this--both the original story reels and the final versions! I remember when the story reels first came out, all the way back in 2015, and rewatching them after having seen this series was very... interesting. The character designs changed a lot when the series got revived, and I've gotten so used to their look in this series that seeing their original designs again was kind of creepy (except for Crosshair, whose old look was EXTREMELY creepy!)
Moving on to this premiere, I have a lot of thoughts!
YESSSS! Finally y'all are starting The Bad Batch! You will laugh, you will DEFINITELY cry, but it is all worth it!
16:00 that head turn! 😂😂
You’re gonna love this series
LETS FUVKING GOOOO WE ARE FINALLY HERE
Syfo’s name was used to create the clone army but it was done by Tyrannus/Dooku under Syfo’s name, Dooku was also responsible for removing Kamino from the Jedi archive as seen in tales of the Jedi.
Does...Chris still think stormtroopers are clone troopers?
Apparently Acolyte was actually the most expensive Star Wars show to make per episode. So it just wasn't worth the cost. Shows like Mandalorian and Andor are cheaper to make and bring in a wider audience.
It released that acolyte cost closer to $300 million compared to the original $220 million. Disney doesn't care about politics, only money. And if they lost hundreds of millions of dollars on 1 season, there's no way they're doing that again for a 2nd season.
The truth is acolyte was terrible thtas why all the fans hated it and simce it wasn't being watched they cancelled it
YESS Y'all are reacting to the Bad Batch!! I LOVE THAT SHOW!!
Just another reminder that the Clones, and Omega, have a New Zealand accent. It's a Kiwi accent not an Australian accent.
"I've been looking foreword to this" - Dooku
I NEED Marketa to get involved in these reactions as soon as possible.
Wow I'm so excited for you guys to get on this ride. Bad Batch is one of the more interesting Star Wars stories.
The A-Team ...in Space!
Weird you can hate and some what care for a character like Nala Se as she was the one who drugged Fives before he can foil Order 66.
One day Suraj will realise the clones are Kiwi not Aussie.
It's so crazy watching this after all the shit that happened in the last seasons
8:39 bro, not the same people xD
those aren't clones
its been like what? 2 years? and we told them countless times that stormtroopers are NOT clonetroopers, like at all, and i'm pretty sure the shows have disclosed that many times...
FINALLY. I wondered if yall would watch. I may have to hop back in that Patreon 🤔
I can't wait till we get to the later reveals about the clones; their reactions are going to be awesome
Just remember that good soldiers follow orders.
this was Tom Kanes last role before he retired due to medical reasons
Didn’t we get a glimpse of Sifo Dyas in “The Clone Wars”? I seem to recall Dooku viewing an image of him.
Oh, good! This is where the fun begins.
She likes the eat the leaves off tall trees 😭
I was just wondering when you guys were going to release bad batch 🥰
Hell yea. Peak star wars
Hey @The Normies the droid AZ was in the episode of clone wars that fives was dealing with kamino stuff AZ was helping him get close to find out about order 66 by looking at clone Tup's chip AZ first shows up in the episode of clone wars called conspirarcy.
