Correction/issue no.1: Milarepa did NOT leave home to go out and get revenge!!!
He went away to learn the ways of sorcery in "obedience to, and by the orders of", --- his mother!!!
(He was instructed to learn sorcery in order to avenge and punish his aunt and uncle for "stealing" their inheritance which came from their father!)
Correction/issue no.2: I don't recall Marpa ever becoming Milarepa's student/disciple! 'The Biography of Milarepa Tibet's Great Yogi', (written by one of his students, Rechung) does NOT say this!
Nor is it stated in 'The Hundred Thousand Songs of Milarepa'!
Correction/issue no.3: I don't recall reading anywhere where it says Milarepa accompanied Marpa to India!
Marpa traveled there alone to meet Naropa, his Indian guru, and mentioned to Naropa that he had a "worthy" student/disciple capable of realizing the teachings of the Dharma.
