I hope you read this!!!!!!! In your last video you said that you were putting a small apartment in the shop for Mr. Ed. I think that is wonderful of you and your family. I bet there are fans out there that would be willing to help. You should state in one of your videos that you will except donations to help with the apartment or set up a go fund me account and let everyone know about it. It would be nice to know that he is living there close to all of you just in case he needs help. A small apartment with a bathroom, bedroom, living room and a kitchenette would be great to see him in. We would love to see his apartment when it is done. Mr. Ed seems like such a good man, he deserves a family like yours.
Matt, your videos helped me pull my brother out tonight, stuck in the sand close to Sandhollow. Without watching you and having the right equipment I would have had to call you. You were always the backup plan, (I kind of hoped for it but...). either way you deserve the credit. Thanks for everything! You all rock!

After many years of fighting ratchet straps I finally figured it out a few years ago and they work really well for me, 90, no maybe 80, or maybe even 70% of the time.
I don't go down to southern Utah much but i spend time in the fish lake area. But i love getting to see more of this beautiful state and seeing others being active in the outdoors.
Should run battery cables to the back of the jeep's rear bumper with QD with matching QD connector on the winch cables. Always charged. Lighter than the jumper battery. Won't forget the jumper battery back at the shop.
I travel from to Michigan to Arizona and back with a Honda pioneered 3 person side-by-side. I use straps over the wheels I bought from harbour freight it never moves. I use one on the front and 1 on the rear opposite side. Just a thought I like your show.

There are often several ways to tackle any problem. Waiting on the way Matt devises the way this obstacle is going to be approached is the sign of a good employee. It designates one leader and a crew that works in unison. It's not often how a thing is done, just that it gets done.
Your videos are so simple and great. It looks like Matt and the guys never work in these videos. They love it, that's what makes them so good at it. Id say all the work is in being able to get it done, not actually getting it done.. When you love what you do for a living you never have to work a day in your life

Back in the 1950s my dad put locking hubs like yours on his Willys Jeep Wagon. Later he substituted them with automatic locking hubs. They would lock only when 4WD was engaged. These must still exist.
It's weird to see you rescue a side by side at the sand dunes that still has all 4 wheels attached correctly.
Probably a broken drive belt, that's the second most common issue.
But Trevor was the 3rd wheel on that recovery... 😂

They like most things designed to be "easy" or automatic are garbage.
Pretty much what @Leroy Grider said. They use a sprag type clutch deal. Not positive locking
