I remember I used to find the AI so frustrated on GT4. It can't even keep the car on the track when you instructed the driver to push hard in B-Spec mode! Thus the glitch were the car just drives into the wall at La Sarthe was most annoying! So glad they had all this fixed in GT5.
That happened to me once I was doing the 24 hour race at la Sarthe and I got tired so I put it on b spec I wake up the next morning and the car is not even going anywhere it was just stopped lol I waisted some time there.. I recently bought this game again so I’m going to attempt it again but I’m gonna put it on steady and overtake
Blue tires: You will have a fine experience of driving, just warm up them a little bit and should do it. Green tires: Now your car has enough grip to tackle every corner, now, go out there and bring me the purple time. Yellow tires: You will have to release a bit your throttle, your car will not have enough grip to make that 130R flat out, so consider making a pit stop. Red tires: You are driving a shopping cart, if you manage to reach, you should do a little visit to the pit stop shopping center, at there you can buy a new set of tires for hot deals, will you going to lose the offer?
I remember on GT4 the AI GT40 getting stuck in the sand trap against the wall on an infinite forward reverse loop coming off Indianapolis for 22 of the 24 hours at Circuit De La Sarthe in the No Chicane 24 hour endurance race on GT4 along with countless other AI fails LOL. Had alot of fun on these old GT's. Keep it up! Also 16:45 > you can't do that in The Yellowbird on the Nurburgring AI, You don't have the Stefan Roser code or you'd be too OP.

Ah yes, my favorite group c with racing super soft suffering. I have 2 more setup on gt4 you might like to check out: - Group c with racing medium setup on nurburgring nordscleife. Suffering start on lap 2 from steilstrecke (a corner before carraciola-carousel) until pit entry caused by worn tyres - s-segment sport/concept cars (slr mclaren, cien, w12, cerbera spd 12) with any sport tyres, on le mans/de la sarthe 2 (no chicane). The usual brake failure at the end of mulsanne straight
i remember racing in arcade mode in the track in 11:21 but in the opposite direction i used to pick the Jaguar XJR9 and the opponents i raced against normally ended up going off the track at the first corner i remember that sometimes i picked a car that made the opponents be rally cars, but i dont remember which one it was exactly but they did go off the track too i remember the Lancia Delta S4 Rally Car going off and the Peugeot 205 rally car too there were times i picked a car that made one of the opponents be a Shelby Cobra and it always went off the track you should try to make a race just with Cobras in that track and see the chaos happening its pretty fun :D you can do it in Laguna Seca too or... basically any track, the Shelby Cobra AI always goes off the track at some point since the brakes of the car are complete shit i miss doing those things :')
I recently unlocked Circuit de la Sarthe and im doing a 50 lap race on it. Lemme just say the Peugeot rally car is too stubborn to pit even if the tires died 4 laps ago
This is a great video but I have a GT4 question. Is there a way I can mod Gran Turismo 4 in a way where I can pick my opponents and swap the sounds of cars I own a nice PC btw if that has anything to do with it ANY HELP APPRECIATED!!!
For custom opponents there’s 2 methods: 1. Secret menu method, there are tutorials on youtube and the best thing about this option is that it requires GT4 only and no other apps like cheat engine (however you can’t choose the exact grid with this method) 2. The custom grid tutorial where you can use cheat engine to modify the opponents of a race, there’s a tutorial I will link below
What makes this funny is that the AI waits until their tires are in the red making it harder to drive before they take a pit stop😂 The Toyota 7 was the worst one😂
