    I've just qualified as PADI Divemaster at age 61, and following a 40 year layoff from diving ~(back in the days when dinosaurs roamed the earth)
    ...Having said that, these guys are rather impressive.
    Never stop learning & growing.

    I love how well she manages her perfect trim and the calm she projects during the skills. Also her fin techniques are on point

      Thank you very much. Good buoyancy control and trim is vital not only for us Course Directors but as Instructors who are role models for new divers and should be teaching these same techniques to their students. Practice what you preach I believe.

    This is one of my most favorite videos, I use to watch this alot and even adopted a bit of their style into my demo, i adored this girl, and the music synced well with the skill preformance l, but I just realized something about it just now that made it even more interesting, So did my Idc in cozumel, and I wanted to do my full face mask specialty, so my c.d got in touch with scuba Playa. And it wasn't until now I realize I met these people, if only the heavens allowed me to dcome to this realization then I would of asked for her autograph, obsession!! I feel like i failed in life, next time scuba Playa, I know who you are now. Haha great dive shop. Amazing staff. Stein kwadijk nov 18th. Haha

    In the video, when OOA diver signal no air, the donator first action is suprisly signal back an OK ( takes 3 seconds at least ) instead of quickly throwing the long hose to the OOA diver (this is why Razor use the break away botsnap). The back-ok-signal could result OOA diver die if the backup hose tangled/ can't find it or when diving in some environment, like in the strong current, or overhead, or cavern zone or other.

    If I understand well, you are doing air deplation in Open Water ??? Totally agree with altewrnate air source but in the standads I'm not sure is Air depleation is an excercice for open water (standars...)

    • @natlefort6482
      @natlefort6482 7 лет назад

      Hi Julie, this is the confined water skill circuit for Divemaster and IDC candidates not an open water skill circuit and not from the Open Water Course. The environment meets the standards in terms of water clarity, depth and swimming pool like conditions. Air depletion with AAS use is a deep water skill. So we were in a slight deeper part of the confined water area. Its actually very shallow where I am doing this skill but water is so clear may not look like it!
