this looks like so much fun! I have my last open water dive tomorrow just for an owc and honestly its not too great of a time. We only have lakes, so we're diving in murky, cold water at depths of 14 feet in large(ish) groups. so we have no room to maneuver or really do anything
Trips like this are cheap airfare is the most expensive & even then you can catch a deal also when you want to do a trip this bad you set up a savings account.
Dahab is VERY inexpensive. I stayed for 4 nights and had 4 days of diving for under $400. Breakfast included. I loved it there. I have never met nicer people.
Hi there, did you hold the camera the whole time, or did you mount it somewhere? I want to record my AOW course, but I don’t want the camera getting in the way. Great video!
what I don't understand is why count the identifying fish as a skill. This can be done in any dives. on my Padi, Night dive and deep dive and compass are mandatory by the instructor.
It is also according to availability. We were not able to do a night dive and Naturalist is one of the PADI speciality choices. It was more than just fish identifying is was also how the eco systems interact. It was interesting.
Why is it that so many of the dive Instructors I have met are either missing a finger or a fret or 2, or have scars on their arms/ legs and who knows where else.. 🤕 this is an amazingly beautiful but dangerous sport
hey there. was wondering what your sac rate was? i am in the process of doing my open water beginner course :) my sac rate was bad when i started lol. i got it to .6 now. was over 1.3. love your video. i hope to pass and ill be posting a video of my dives too if they allow me to. i am in canada along the st lawrence river. that is where ill be doing my tests. no sharks :P lol
SV Methos I have no idea what my surface air consumption is. Don’t worry about air consumption until you get some experience when certified. Just enjoy and dive safely. Thanks for watching my video.
@@brettL.hoelzer Wtf! It is a requirement to do a night dive in advance courses. When i did my advance certification with CMAS we did a 16 meter night dive
I did my AOW in Dahab as well. I have to admit it's a conversation starter when I have to show my PADI Card,

Net_Chix_AnKill? It was fun to take our advanced open water training in clear warm waters.
Definitely do your Advanced in a tropical location. Egypt, Thailand, Indonesia. It's gorgeous (and more comfortable without the cold too).
So gorgeous. I wish I had money to go places like that. Oh well, I guess I’m stuck in the Boston Harbor. 😂

Бил съм там. Прекрасно е.
Awesome video!
Thank you
수신호 진짜 멋있다!!!!
Soo shin is really cool!
Interesting skills course with various obstacles ,
Thanks, yes there are even more not featured in the video. It was a great experience for us.
Nice video. I was here too last summer, but reality is more beautiful than video, btw: What camera did you use?
Pandit Reuvers We used the original GoPro Hero, but now have the Hero 5 & Hero 6.
Looks like there’s a tiny leak at the instructor’s SPG.
So can you do an advanced course straight after ur open water course?
308winmag Chater you will have to check PADI requirements. I am not sure if there is a required number of dives or not.
yes you can do it directly after OW course no need to do certain number of dives, but its preferable to do dives to enhance your skills
You can even do it the same day as your ow cert
Well in scuba diving logic you can be "advanced" in 10 repetitions of it.
@@tomasurban9626 yeah i ended up doing it in the end hahaha
Awesome
Check for leaks before the dive.
Is better to breath the air and not to spend from SPG.

There were two of us. My wife and I, we held the camera while the other did the exercises. Also the instructor was nice enough to film us some times.
hello..what dive shop is this? i want to go
It would be Bubbles dive center Dahab.
I heard the water in Egypt was the best in the world. Looks pretty clear to me.
It is very clear. On the other side of the Gulf of Aqaba the diving is even better.
Both of you have leaking o rings on your cylinders?
Use DIN, people. It's so much less likely to leak.
excellent.... where are the fish!
Steven Hopkins there were plenty of fish just not pictured in this video. I just cut together the training.
My apologies - not criticizing your video. Its very good. Sad to see dead zones when biomass should more abundant than land.
Steven Hopkins no offense taken. Just wanted you to know there were many creatures and fish to see not pictured in this video.
Lots of sea life there: ruclips.net/video/IYwlElWc6AA/видео.html

There's so much litter where they are at it reminds me of nearly everywhere I have ever dived. So sad.
I can do that 😊
Peak Bounce on the ground. WTH?

At our PADI School we learned to touch absolutely nothing, not even the ground lol
me too lol
I was learned to touch anything that would harm or destroy life
@@widdlewaddle1790 haha yes that's different. I meant animals and plants
well same deal with ssi. Sold me 2 cards, full set of gear, didnt even teach me how to weight myself properly lol.
Amazing what the deep here.

Night dive?
Syed Fadzree in the Advanced Open Water course you can choose a night dive as one. We did not do a night dive at this time.

Clyde Ceniza night dive is not required but one of the choices.
I had my “night dive” in 32 deep water where there was little to nothing to see.
Супер
👌👌👌👌
Nice!!!!
Thank you
this instructor like good ah
Yes he is a great instructor
that's the most fake laugh ive ever heard of my whole life
For first time at 32m depth people can act and sound weird, a lot of adrenalin
@@MrBercis just kidding mate 😆. It's fun to watch again and due to this pandemic, I miss diving
I, myself, like to stay just slightly negatively buoyant.
