The tube with the lens is a targeting pod, I'm pretty sure your F-15Js have them too, the other big tanks to the side are external fuel tanks for long flights.

They lost in Vietnam against very poor equipped peasants, the same happened in Afghanistan also in Somalia where they had to withdraw their forces very quickly. * They have never been fighting to defend their own territory the USA but they always fight in foreign countries for which they ignore their culture and spirit and bring distress and desolation instead. They occupy over one thousand military bases everywhere in the world while Russia for instance has only three.
