    These are too adorable and so useful ! With more markets eliminating plastic bags (nice), there's a real need for these. Thank you. 😎

    Thank you so much for this! Your tutorials are super easy to follow!
    One question though! When you complete your row of the chains, at about 4:15-4:20 in the video - you say you'll make a slip stitch in the first loop. I can't tell from the video but are you doing this directly in the loop, or one of the stitches (like under a V shape in the loop)? I'm a beginner and can't tell visually what you're doing!! Thanks!

      Hi there, thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying the tutorials. To answer your question, you're going to make the stitch directly in the loop. So not a specific stitch within the loop. I hope that helps.😊

    Thank you so much for this pattern! I’ve made both sizes and the pattern is easy to follow. I would like to make a medium sized version of this bag. How much would you recommend to chain and how many rows?

    • @JewelsandJones
      @JewelsandJones  5 месяцев назад

      Hi there, thank you for your question. I haven't made a medium size yet, but it's in the works. So I will let you know as soon as I have finished. I'm still working on the sizing, but a starting chain of 25 might work well for the medium size and then I would see how long you would like the bag to be for the mesh portion of it. Just remember that the mesh portion does stretch out, so I would just keep that in mind. I hope that helps! 😊

    Hi! I love this pattern so much that I purchased the pdf from Etsy. I'm hoping you can help me figure out why when I made it the first time my mesh stitches just kept growing. I'm trying again, but each time I turn and ss into the first mesh stitch it increases it by one, so I'm afraid it's going to happen again. I'm positive it's something simple I'm doing incorrectly, and not the pattern, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

    • @JewelsandJones
      @JewelsandJones  Год назад +1

      Hi there, thank you so much for purchasing one of my patterns 😊. To answer your question, I'm thinking you might be adding an extra stitch for each row, which is why the stitch count is off. If you wouldn't mind, could you email me a photo of the mesh stitch portion of your project at jewelsandjones@gmail.com. All be able to see where that extra stitch is coming from. Also, just a thought, but the mesh portion of the bag starts of very scrunched up, as you make more rows, the mesh portion becomes looser. So you still have the same amount of stitches, but it might look like more stitches.

      Hi there, are you making the small size or big size. If you're making the small size, are you counting the rows on the side?

    • @LaurenSwift-ee7cu
      @LaurenSwift-ee7cu 4 месяца назад

      What do you mean count rows on the side? I did 22 rows of mesh stitches and mine is much smaller too.

    • @debbiemosby6722
      @debbiemosby6722 4 месяца назад +1

      I made the small size yesterday, and I had the same issue, but I figured it out. If you stretch out the side and count the open spaces, it equates to double the rows because not every row makes a space on the side. I worked 44 rows, which gave me 22 spaces on the side. That worked out perfectly, and I LOVE how it turned out!
