01:04 Tools needed:
Gloves
Towels
Grooming Brush
Double-sided tape or tarp to prevent slipping
Trimming shears
Shaver
Hand brush
Nylon pile lifter
Sponge
Cleaning solution (Disinfectant 1 gallon)
Spotter
Prep Steps:
01:45 - Vacuum the back of the rug (avoid loose tags)
02:41 - Brush with nylon pile lifter
03:26 - Vacuum Top Side (Protip: Don’t be afraid to vacuum each side twice)
04:00 - *Optional - trimming/shaving (Protip: get big shears to go faster)
06:59 - Vacuum (again)
Protip - Use the burn tests to identify if the carpet is constructed with natural or synthetic fibers. (Another video coming soon)
Cleaning Steps
07:08 - Mist of spotter
07:29 - Brush in spotter
09:33 - Clean the edges with a rag
10:25 - Use a grout sponge to apply the cleaning foam
11:18 - Use a brush to work the foam into fibers
11:56 - Wipe off excess foam
14:22 - Final grooming with a hand brush
