Zero Days with an Incident

We took the longest camping trip so far during the week of the Fourth of July and couldn't help but think of Bob and Hillary with the ‪@Vancaskeys‬ during the experience. We love their channel and their approach to their RV life! If you're not following them you should be! So, as a tribute to Bob, Hillary and Mr. Lemon, here is our "zero days" video. Oh, be sure to watch to the end where we describe the severe thunderstorm we experienced with 70mph winds! The ‪@SylvanSport‬ GO, GOzeebo, awning and breezeway all survived!

Scott, my condolences on the loss of your French Press! Such a critical member of the camping family, yes?! I strongly suggest you replace it with the Stanley Adventure All-in-One (Boil & Brew) French Press, which can double as a cook pot for those solo backpacking trips. It works great and is super durable. I can pack my coffee, a baggie of powdered milk, and some sucralose packets inside of it to make a "coffee kit" for outings. This video made me laugh and smile - I love both your attitudes in laughing at life's foibles. The thing is that when these things happen, while it might feel like a negative in the moment, it's building memories for the future. You'll never forget this trip.

Ha! Yea, losing that French Press was such a travesty! LOL!! Thanks for the tips about the Stanley item. I will definitely check that out. Funny thing, I have an Aero Press, but it's the smallest version and I have yet to use it because I know it won't make enough coffee to get my morning started. You two seem to have a great time together 😊!!! My incident happened just after I purchase my new GOSport, in Brevard NC. I was heading to my camp about 10 mins away. My GPS kept telling me to turn, which I did, as I was going realizing this isn't right driveway it was too late now and car lost traction my GO ended up in the ditch sideways. What a predicament, thankfully no major damage, but it was brand new😢 can't always trust those GPS!!! Have had minor incidents using it seems every time I use it. I'm really enjoying my GOsport. I'm very happy with the way it's built and easy. Where are you guys from?
