Hi hope you guys are doing well
When my mom was in a hurry she would use stove top instead of making homemade stuffing
One of my favorite dishes she would make to this day is stuffed pork chops
She would brown the pork chops a little bit with a slight caramelization but not completely cook them and then put a first layer of pork chops in a baking pan, put the prepared stove top stuffing on each pork chop and then put another pork chop on top and she would usually make her own cream of mushroom sauce but in a hurry she would mix canned cream of mushroom soup with some milk and pour it on and bake it
It is truly so yummy ...
Sometimes she would do this with chicken but the pork chops were my favorite
really it's super super simple it was one of the first things I ever attempted to cook by myself when I was probably 11 ....
Another tip that is totally to your preference, she would always add extra celery and onion while the stove top was cooking ....
    Peace💚🌎🌺

What temperature please and for how long? Does sound delicious. Thanks. I make breaded pork chops and cook on my inside electric grill with melted butter under the chops. I crush a bunch of Ritz Hint of Salt crackers into mostly fine crumbs. Usually two tubes of Ritz, but they've put a lot less crackers in each tube now. so adjust, beaten egg or eggs on one plate and a mixture of the crumbs on another plate (use paper plates, hate dishes lol), seasonings and then dip each chop then into the egg mixture, then into the crumbs. Pressing down on the chops to get as much crumbs to adhere. Slowly grill until done, don't overcook may get tougher to eat. They were delicious also. I also make a microwavable casserole with a pork tenderloin that I cooked 10 -12 hours in the slow cooker usually overnight. Cool that off a bit. In largest glass baking bowl or non-metal pan pour a can of cream style corn, ( best if cream and not whole kernels). Chop up onions and green pepper, I use a can of Swanson chicken broth or two depending on how many noodles I put in (usually the whole 16 ounce bag) so I can have leftovers. which I freeze. Six -eight (or more adjusted to your taste) slices of American cheese broken into smaller pieces, 2 tsp. of salt and Weber garlic and herb seasoning to taste (won't use pepper as I really dislike it so the Weber's is a great substitution for me) , 10-16 ounce uncooked egg noodles and then the pork shredded into smaller size pieces for easier eating. Cover and micro cook on high twelve minutes, stir and cook twelve more minutes, stir and cook the last twelve minutes and you have a delicious casserole. If micro is a lower wattage, may want to micro another couple minutes or so each. Last recipe, at least for now as that recipe card was stuck to pork cass card. Biscuit Bake. 450 temp for 8-10 minutes. Spray a regular size muffin tin good. I use an over hundred-year-old tin. I use Pillsbury frozen Grand biscuits as they are larger then normal. Gently split apart each biscuit in half crossways. Place one half biscuit in bottom of sprayed muffin gently pat to cover the bottom and a bit up the side. I use precooked sausage links only, usually 10 in a pack, breaking each in half and laying on bottom biscuits indenting into a bit to stay better, then sprinkle on cheddar cheese (lots) and cover with the other half of biscuit as much as you can. Repeat for all. Bake and enjoy a lot. Blessings to all. Any questions just reply to me. Have a good one!

"Stuffing" is a term for any mixture you'd "stuff" poultry with. In my PA Dutch tradition, it's a bread stuffing, which starts with stale bread (PA Dutch are always frugal!)and then you cut or break that into cubes, and separately, you put chicken stock or water in a sauce pan with celery, onions, parsley and other herbs like thyme and sage and boil it together until the veggies are starting to get tender. We always added at least 4Tablespoons of butter for each quart of liquid. Then you pour the hot mixture over the bread cubes and add at least a cup of ice water to make it cool enough to get your hands in there to mix it all together. That's a very basic recipe. You can use different types of bread, add things like sausage or mushrooms or use rice instead of bread, and we always make a LOT so we can stuff the bird, and then bake the extra on a baking sheet to get crispy. just make sure you have lots of gravy.
StoveTop Stuffing elminates all the prep and brings a decent stuffing to your table anytime, not just on big holidays. At our house, we like to layer chicken or pork (boneless)in a casserole dish, covered with prepared stovetop and then pour over a can of cream of mushroom soup, prepared with about a 1/4 of a teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper. Cover with foil, and bake at about 375 F for 45 minutes.
Oh, and it's my - er lemon.Meyer is my maiden name, you see.:) They are small lemons with an intense lemon flavor.

Yeah, Stove Top is a savory bread stuffing for those who don't want to make homemade. You can stuff meats or eat as is. I baste my meats with BBQ sauce towards the second half of grilling, BBQ chicken is wonderful. A corn husker is a machine that removes the husks of corn. And I'm curious about that Krusteaz Meyer lemon loaf, I have a box in my pantry I need to make myself. Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there too! 🎉

Hi from another Carol! Wonderful unboxings today!! The Stovetop is made with shredded dried bread cubes and herbs also with dried onions and other veggies. Best with topped with a gravy like chicken gravy. I always add some more onion and garlic powder to mine and if I have the time I will saute some onions and thinly sliced celery to add more of a homemade taste! The recipes you mentioned on the box are wonderful to try if anyone sends you more of this! I do the recipe for the meatloaf and my husband loves it. Tetrazzini is an Italian style spaghetti dish done sometimes with chicken , turkey, or tuna and it is always done with spaghetti noodles (pasta) and it is a garlic parmesan cream sauce that it is tossed in and usually baked to heat it through and melt the cheese on top. The Stovetop one is good and quick and tasty. You may want to add more garlic to it!!

My favorite is stove top, cut up sausage (usual kielbasa) and corn. Bite size sausage, brown in the pan, add the water and butter directions on box, add corn. Bring to a boil, remove from heat. Add stuffing mix, let sit for a bit then eat. One pot. No mess. I eat this almost every week because it's so easy.

When you make the stovetop stuffing mix, use chicken broth along with the butter (instead of water), also use a half cup more of the broth than the box calls for, and mix into the stuffing while cooking some sauteed onions. That will make it moist, buttery, and flavorful.

Stuffing is a side dish. Stove Top stuffing is made by just using directions on box...you boil water and add the package in box and butter and then stir and take off the heat and put lid on pan and then the stuffing sit for 5 minutes . Then you stir to "fluff" and then just eat it. Great with Chicken or Pork. And Stove Top puts recipes on the box you can try by adding the stuffing into the recipes. I love Stove Top Stuffing.

Happy Father’s Day, for all the daddies out there! Stuffing, originally were stale or toasted bread crumbs, herbs and spices, mixed with diced onion and celery and moistened with melted butter and broth, then stuffed into the cavity of the bird to cook together in the oven. But, that was a lot of work. Then, they made Stove Top Stuffing… made on the stove top in a couple of minutes. Very fast and easy and very yummy. My mom used to make Turkey Tetrazzini with all the left over turkey after Thanksgiving. It was Turkey meat, some celery, onion and peas in a cream sauce and served over a type of savory puff pastry. But I guess you can have it over pasta like in the mix. Now, I want some. 😂❤

Stove Top stuffing mix was invented in the 1970's. It was a big deal because it moved stuffing from holiday treat that was made by stuffing stale bread and seasonings inside a bird, to a side dish that could be made on the stove top. Stove Top is intended to be cooked on the stove not in a bird.
I don't recommend this for your first time eating it, but I make a squash casserole with it. You mix the dressing with sliced zucchini and yellow squash and shredded cheddar cheese and bake it.
Raspberry and chipotle is a popular flavor combination in the States. There is a sauce -- not the same thing you got -- that is like thin raspberry jam with chipotle chile. I make an appetizer by spreading cream cheese on a plate and pouring the sauce over it. It is good with crackers and celery.

Thin chicken breast, partially cooked. Put the stove top into a baking dish, place chicken on top of stuffing, then cover with sliced potatoes. (about an inch think on the potatoes) cook for about an hour @ 300 degrees (no clue what that is in your neck of the woods LOL. DELICIOUS!

The Meyer lemon is a hybrid citrus fruit native to China. It is not a lemon, but is instead a cross between a citron and a mandarin/pomelo hybrid. They are sweeter and larger than true lemons.

It’s a side dish my wife loves it and will just make it. So if you have chicken or chicken helper or fried grilled baked chicken or replaced a salad with a meal.

Hi y'all. Here's a hint...on the sauces, IF the lid has a opening for the sauce to come through, take the lid and poke a hole in the cover on bottle for a quick taste and to save Reckys teeth!

Russet is a type of potato. We have many different types of potatoes. Most popular are: russet/Idaho (thick brown skin; large size; white inside; mashed, baked, or fried), yukon (gold skin & yellow inside; good for soups, salads, & frying), red potatoes/new potatoes (red skin; small; white inside; good to use when baking pot roast or making potato salad).
Meyer lemon isn't lemon. It is fruit that was created in China by crossing citron fruit together with mandarin oranges. I've never tried it so I don't know what it tastes like.
