Thank you for showing ( Bobby) doing his Diesel work. You are so lucky to have him for your Dump truck maintenance. Remey is such a great young boy, watch him so interested in what you show all us U-Tube watching, the little kid is so interested in the Dump truck. 😊 ❤😊 May you Christmas be great, and hopefully your work will pick up after New Year 😊
Hope Bobby gets the truck going soon. How long has Bobby been a diesel mechanic? You two have a upcoming Truck driver/ Diesel mechanic in Remy. A little early but Hope you guys have Great Merry Christmas.
It’s no fun to work on them when it’s cold
haha it wasn’t too bad
Heat shrink tubing works wonders for the glow plug removal once loosened up.
Get Bobby a topside creeper! He'll love it!
That’s a good idea
That's been on my wishlist for a while. Am currently using the exact same little stool. 😂
@@TradeofJack haha nice
It is a bit surprising to see an experienced mechanic holding a flashlight, in place of other hands free options.
Headlamp, magnetic mount overhead light, or a Dominique held lamp etc.
My 2003 7.3 started leaking fuel into the coolant. Turned out to be a pitted injector sleeve. I always used the coolabt treatment as well. Good luck with it.
Extremely rare to see problems with the 7.3, those 6.0s though have the hood open more than closed.
Looking good in cold weather!
Thanks!
Hello, thx 4 sharing & best of luck w/ the service truck repair.
Thanks
Im jealous of your guys shop setup! Are you guys going to the next Murphy auction and do you offer inspections?
I just wish I had access to a diesel mechanic.
I have a very small arsenal of equipment, a backhoe, a ford farm tractor, a Belarus tractor and a dump truck.
I need a Russian diesel mechanic right now for the Belarus.
None here in Alabama.
It is great to have a husband that is also a talented diesel mechanic. It sure has helped out when something breaks and he is able to fix it in house.
Merry Christmas Dauminique and Bobby and the rest of your family. Try to rest up and enjoy the slow time with your family. Happy New Year too! I hope Santa brings you everything you were hoping for and more.
Did you sell the '77? LOVE all the videos that you put out. Please keep them coming.
It hadn’t sold yet. Lots of interest though. I feel like I have been on the phone for the last week answering questions.
Very little nickel 12% in block casting now was 60-80 %
Love the American flag flying high in the shop there!👍👍
Thanks!
Oil cooler has been my problem with that engine. It never hydrolocked though.
Good mornin youall looks cold there , hope you get your service truck goin hi from nm!
We've been putting 85W-140 in the axles and wet hubs for some time now, it's cheap insurance compared to down time and repairs.
Damn I've had 7 7.3s over the years and never had anything like that happen. That's bad luck.
Yeah its always kinda by chance. We have owned 6, 6.0 lt diesel pick ups and only had 1 blown head gasket between the 6.
ive done a few of the injector cups,,,not a bad job on 7.3,,,but when they leak, they leak !!!!!
Bobby needs an LED hat headlight for Christmas. It is neat that “dude” is a part of things! I especially got a big kick when you took him in your truck! An early Merry Christmas!
He has a bunch of them. I'm not sure where they are.
Awesome video
If Bobby's looking for an endoscope, this is way beyond the ability of Internet mechanics.
Rem is the man 👍🏻.
Agreed!
Poor guy, not fun, in my former life when it got cold or a Holiday, something broke and I had to work on it.
We use Colman oil over here, They are good people
I really liked that they didn’t care that I was a one truck outfit, they still gave me a sales person. Unlike the other distributors in the area.
hai dauminique, was weer een interessante vlog bedankt hiervoor hoop dat de service wagens van bobby snel weer gerepareerd is
Hai dauminique kan jij de hollandse tekst lezen/vertalen van mijn?wat ik schrijf naar jou toe

Love all the videos you guys post!!Is that FORD a 6.0 or a 6.4?
7.3 as mentioned
7.3
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver sorry to hear about that!!!Those 7.3 are probably the best engines Ford could put in their trucks! The new 6.7s are Preety good but all these pollution crap they add, kills them!!!Anyway you guys rock!I don’t subscribe to many channels but yours and Andrew Camarata are among the few I am a subscriber!!Thank you!Beat regards from California!!And Happy Holidays!
WoW, soon 100K , cool 😊
So close!
UH OOOOO.....not suppose to come outbthem ports....it's broken....gotta get it warm shop and have a adult beverage meeting with the tools and instruct them on what's gonna take place..
hello dauminique & it's is randy and i like yours video is cool thanks dauminique friends randy
Why don't you use big garge & heat?
Hello Dauminque, Remy is so adorable comes and gives you hugs. That is cute. He is defentlig the star of the show.
I think so too!
Been there and done that 🤪
😂
Damm a 7.3 did that damm
yup, things happen.
Sr Assistant hard at play, I saw 😊
That hair..lol
Why noy Shafers gear oil?
The Shafers sales person is hard to get ahold of. Last time we order oil, it took over a month to get it.
The injector cups are cracked??..... those cup are cooled by the coolant to keep the injector tip cool becsuse its always in the fire , what millage is that 7.3??
The injector cup wasn’t cracked
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver what was the issue may i ask?
Our engines have become very complicated to work on.
The 7.3 is pretty basic. Bobby’s got this.
Billywwdan ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
and another one gone , and another one gone , another power stroke bites the dust
Hopefully he can fixes it and not having to replace the motor
We will see when we get the head off.
If it’s a 6.0 it’s probably the EGR cooler
It's a 7.3
Unfortunately they dont have a warm shop to work in.
😂 We do. The truck is in there now.
🤪🙏🏽.
Good thing it wasn't your dump truck. But then again you got a spare don't you.👍🏽🤘🏾😊😎🙋🏽♂️🙏🏽
I hope Bobby not working with unrealible Triton engine in 07-2011 Ford F-Series service truck Damunique if so its junk.
It's a 7.3 diesel. We're not really gas powered people.
I'm with the majority....why not work on it in the shop when you have one? What happened to Bobby's "dream job"?
It hydrolocked parked right there. It just hadn’t been moved. Haha he is allowed to work on stuff at home before he goes to work.
Why not working in heated shop
My truck was in the shop when he parked the service truck there and when he went to move it into the shop it was hydrolocked.
Did you ever finish that room upstairs in the garage?
It's not closed in yet. It's about the same.
Vehicles of all type break. If not, people like Bobby would be out of work. At least you are not paying shop labor somewhere else.
bummer, doesn't sound good.
At least Bobbie knows how to repair it.
FYI, your preview pic has 'hydrolocked' spelled wrong. Forgot the R :)
You just aren't treating it right, peg never has problems with his 7.3's!!
They circle your problem it's a ford
A circle is better than a bowtie (Chevy)
That's engine is really a international
hope its an injector cup ,,, maybe ,,,
haha I don't think it is...
I have a 7.3 2001 since new . Every Injector has an injector cup made out of brass. Those cups sometimes crack , allowing coolant to cross where it aint supposed to. I wont joking. Pull the injector, pressurize the cooling system, look down the injector space and see of coolant enters through the sides of the cup.
You need a GMC.
😂 I'll give you a list of vehicles that we own and then you can tell me if you think we will then buy a GMC...We own 2 F350's, a F450 & a Ford Ranger.
It’s a FORD
You need a bigger garage !! lol
Someday we’ll have a yard and a big shop somewhere else. Today is not that day. Haha
don't understand why booby is working outside next to a big empty shop? 99k almost there, 100K by Christmas.
7.3 ok
6.7 fair
6.0 junk
Dumb question why isn’t he working in the shop ?
The build in trucks and cars since 2000 is a no show. They blow head gaskets and just down right lock up in 0 20 oil...just well be gun oil. Sad but true. You want a provider, invest your money in older trucks and cars. It's more cost effective.
haha this truck is older. It is newer than 2000 but its still 22 years old.
