The FlyByWire team have released a new version of the A32NX Installer. It's use is rather self-explanatory, you can download it from here! api.flybywiresim.com/installer
One more tip, if you don't want to go through the calculation of ZFW or if you forgot to look at the ZFWCG at the start, just click on the button in front of ZFW/ZFWCG and it will automatically calculate the desired value for you just like it calculates the V1, VR and V2.
I was astonished with how much there was to do with the FMS. To say learning all of this was challenging would be an understatement, but I loved all of it. Thank you for this experience.
This is the sort of content I like to see when it comes to flight simulation, and once again you have done such an amazing job of demonstrating in a clear, and easy to understand way, of how to start up, and manage the A320NX, which I must say has come a very long way in the past few months. Well done, and thank you very much.
as close to what the pilots see and do... realism of flight planning, CDU and all other aspects of an almost totally complete study level mod going so far for MSFS2020
This is a brilliant mod. I use the stable version with just the bog standard FBW livery. Some people say some of the supplied liveries may be unstable at the moment so I am just using this for now. I enjoyed flying the stock Neo but glad I switched to this. It is a totally different, and gratifying experience. Many more systems are implemented and managing it all is really fun. I have just flown from EGCC to EGLL and was much busier than usual. I was pleased as it was a perfect flight with a good landing from cold startup at gate to shutdown at Heathrow. Having a printer adds a nice detail and having the abilty to load flight plans from sim brief is amazing. There is still a lot to learn. Thanks for this vid and well done to the FBW modders !!
Good straightforward video. In case others missed it, IRS stands for Inertial Reference System. Don't move the plane until it is set. And Drawyah is converting the fuel weight from Kg to tons, 1000 Kg = 1 ton.
Thank you so much for the startup procedures. I was used to Boeing planes until MSFS came along. You made it easy. I am sure there's a lot more to do but for the first time ever starting up an airbus was made easy thanks to you. After watching your video I was able to start it, pushback and taxi and shutdown by myself. Still have to get used to manual landings though haha. Too bad there isn't a tablet mod with navigraph integrated in it.
For the zero fuel weight, instead of doing it into the loading screen, you can do it within the game. Along the top bar click on fuel, then make it full screen and pull it out until it shows you your zero fuel weight. :)
@Drawyah - you can also bring up the Centre of Gravity display after you're in the plane, by opening the fuel tab, then expanding the window sideways. Also, using the speed in managed mode (VNAV) has been working ok for a while now
Brilliant video!!! So very thorough, you explain everything so very well and clear and so it's very easy to follow along... Thank you so much for this, exactly what I needed... 🙏
You can see the centre of gravity thing if you open the weight and fuel menu from the bar that has the atc and everything in game, and resize it by dragging on one of the corners. I only recently learned this but it is massively useful because you don't have to wait for loading screens if you forgot something.
Hey drawyah! Great video. Just a quick question with regards to the autopilot. When I try to engage it, the down arrow does not appear for me. Do you know why/how to fix it?
For some reason when I click on irs init it doesn’t show me what you saw. It shows me 3 different irs but there all the same. I don’t think I did anything wrong.🤨😪🙃 maybe I didn’t start the flight in the main menu the right way. If you have the time how did you do that?
Great teach in but I am unable to get the ILS approach to kick in when nearing the destination airport. I have tried a simbrief flight plan uplink to A322NX and also a standard MSFS flight plan. Both show the ILS approach on the maps but the aircraft gives the message "Not in range" when you you go to the MCDU and try to enter the course and frequency info for the ILS?
Hi man, I love your content but as a foreigner (really good english speaker) sometimes I find it difficult to understand what you are saying. You are talking really clearly and slowly, but every now and then you speed up so fast that I cannot understand. For example 8:20 , 11:03 , 12:27 . Please fix that :D Thank you for your work and keep it up!
For a roundabout figure we'll go for 50.2. If you're more advanced and know how to calculate this stuff then feel free to do so for your flight. One's got a Latitude Longitude pretty much where Heathrow is, the other one 35S 138E east. So if you scroll down in your simBrief flight plan, you will see all of your waypoints followed by their Latitude Longitude and therefore you can select the right one and insert it to your flightplan. 100% of waypoints are there, I have never flown a route with a missing waypoint before. In terms of airways, you have about 90, 95% in there so you'll get a few missing, but generally not enough to mess up your flight.
Hey guys, is it a new "bug" that my external power only shows "unavailable" even if both batteries are on? iam using the last stable branch of the flybywremod (2021-02-05). I mean i cant even fire up the whole plane because of this but maybe they built in a more complex procedure which i dont know yet. Thanks in advance!
Excellent vid and excellent mod. Love driving the FBW bus. For some odd reasons I can't manage to delete waypoints on my flight plans, while you sounded like you have absolutely no problem with that ! Hit CLR and then button left of waypoint, right? I was wondering when I break to stop at the runway I always youse the parking brake but it looks very brutal how do you make it look so smooth do you also use the parking brake?
NEVER use parking break to slow a plane down. Doing so would likely cause the undercarriage to collapse on an aircraft. Use the foot break, spoilers, auto break and reverse thrust to slow down.

Drawyah, When I went to IRS INIT, I only got those IRS aligned overview and nothing. Couldn’t continue the toturial. What am I doing wrong?
What do you mean by IRS aligned overview? Have you switched all three ADIRS knobs to Nav?
@@Drawyah I meant when you push IRS INIT, and all three ADIRS knobs are swithed to NAV
@@Drawyah Hey, I managed to fix the problem. A great upgrade indeed. Only problem, no approach landing.
You should be able to activate ILS/Localiser approaches without any issue, I use them during my streams all the time!
@@Drawyah Well, the ILS is on and going, but when I turned the Approach button, there was no respons🛫
It works for me, but I can't press any button while in the cockpit. Any solutions?
Check the installation. Should work!
Mine as well . Not able to press any buttons and front gear is also not there in the visuals .
Okay but... how do you actually fuel the plane to the amount of block fuel necessary that simbrief tells you to use??
Using the fuel menu in the simulator itself.
@@Drawyah Thank you so much. I was a bit confused. I'm a bit dumb for this. Anyways, keep up the great work! I love your videos
Hey Drawyah, Whenever I switch on the A/P, altitude and heading are automatically controlled but speed never gets controlled. I keep the throttle lever to CLB and speed is set to X Knots and Engage Selected Speed mode. Why is the speed not getting controlled automatically? What am I missing here. Can you or anyone assist me here?
Set the speed on the autopilot panel, pull the knob. That will manage your speed.
I keep getting take off config error. How do I fix?
I just see "SPD SEL" for the speed. How do I fix that?
Have you aligned the IRS and waited the 8 minutes for alignment?
Just a question, why throttle to the flex position and not to/ga?
Flex let's you take off with a predetermined amount of engine power based on runway length and aircraft weight without needing to use full throttle each time where vibrations wear down the engine life.
I've downloaded this but I don't seem to get the A32NX. I'm still seeing the Neo and not the Flybywire livery so I'm not sure if it's even installed correctly although it does show up in my Content Manager but so does the default Neo which seems to be the one that loads. Any ideas please?
The A320neo is replaced by the A32NX. You won't see both aircraft.
It's OK.
I'm new i started it but it's showing fault on buttons, autopilot not configurable help please
Try downloading the latest Stable version, see what happens.
I'll try that Thank you so much!
I have released a new version of the A32NX tutorial for Microsoft Flight Simulator with updated features and EFB functionality! Feel free to check it out on the link below.

Where did you get the meter info from??

Thank you so much you just got a new subscriber
I was wondering when I break to stop at the runway I always youse the parking brake but it looks very brutal how do you make it look so smooth do you also use the parking brake?
NEVER use parking break to slow a plane down. Doing so would likely cause the undercarriage to collapse on an aircraft. Use the foot break, spoilers, auto break and reverse thrust to slow down.
@@Drawyah do you also use this when landing?
Of course!
@@Drawyah ight thanks for the feedback I can finally truly fly correctly
If i start cold and dark from a gate with the mod i can't get any screens to work and come on, if i start on a runway it works, what am i doing wrong?
Turn the batteries on. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@Drawyah is there anyway to avoid doing a cold and dark startup and spawning the aircraft with all systems up and running?
Spawn on the runway.
Does Canada use QNH or IN? And what’s the transition altitude here?
Canada I believe use Inches and transition at 18,000 as is the US.
There is a problem in fly by wire v0.7 pich trim
The latest version should be 0.5.1 on the stable branch.
Hi, how do you get the visual at 3:20? That would be really useful for me. Thank you
It's a pre-set custom viewpoint. You need to do this manually. Check the settings for key combinations.
How do we know if we choose stabe or dev
Updates are announced on the A32NX Discord server.
Mine has solid buttons , like none of them work 😭😭😭
It won’t let me turn on becon lights
I installed msfs today, but I don’t have any commercial airlines! I‘ve only propeller aircrafts! Idk why? Can you help me?
Thanks
Check the content manager and download them.
