Bing is so wonderful interacting with kids. But then, who wouldn't like Bing to sing them to sleep?! Thanks for posting. This is one of my favorites.

In Bing's arms, this baby stops crying, starts cooing and then goes right to sleep. Very lucky baby! And I don't blame him; along with melting, I would react the same way in Bing Crosby's arms. Listen to that voice 💛🎼

Can you imagine the wonder as an infant child, listening to the Supreme voice of Bing? No fussing, but tuned completely in.

The interesting thing is that Bing was a Father to 7 so we get maybe a glimpse of what that looked luke.

      It’s not weird at all.

This is from the 1930s. It wasn't that uncommon back then, actually. It's the modern filth we have to live in now that had brought that as weird.
If people were poor, it wasn't uncommon for a whole family to share a bed.
Or if you had company, the guy would bed up with guys and girls, girls. It was all proper enough. And even today, people sleep with babies, though of course it wasn't known back then that a padded drawer or box was safer.
I read in a book one (a bride goes west) where in the old west they used to put 3 or 4 men in a bed. Cause even though it was tight, after sleeping on the hard ground, they wanted even one night in a bed.
The Andy Griffith show had a funny scene where they had to bunk up with their cousins. Needless to say it was funny.....and relatable.
