Back then, life was different. Everything was cute. There were only three channels and this show was cozy and sweet. In the rain and fog, we warmed our hands with our breath and raced home to watch this comedy. I remember every one of them with great nostalgia. May their souls rest in peace.
This is a sad reminder that nothing lasts forever. Mind Your Language was my favourite Sitcom back then in 1977 when we had only one TV station (channel) in my city. May these gentlemen and ladies rest in peace. They truly blessed the world with their talents.
Deeply saddened to realise that most of them have passed away. It was a really wonderful show and brought out the laughter in the most cute, comical way, without any extravagant acting. Simple, yet subtle. Thank you team Mind your language and everyone associated with it for bringing to us one of the best shows in those times. 🤟

Each of these characters were so identifiable! How much they made us laugh! God bless their souls. Thanks to the Director-Stuart Allen.
Ah, the nostalgia hit me hard! I think you meant 'relatable' instead of ‘identifiable’ unless you've been secretly spotting your friends in a language class lineup. 😄 Those characters were a riot - relatable and hilarious. Cheers to the good ol' days of unintended language lessons!

I was born years later this show came out but thanks to internet I was introduced to this brilliant sitcom back in 2017 and have been obsessed ever since! I heart all the characters especially Mr. Brown. His smile is so infectious it's surreal ❤ It's very sad how early him and Dino Shafeeq passed away. Glad to know some of them lived a fairly long and peaceful lives and some of them are still living their lives. 🩷 Any update on Anna though? I couldn't find anything on her whereabouts. Also Sulee is also alive! Hope she is still obsessed with Chairman Mao 😅😅😅
Sad that Barry Evans died so young, loved watching this show in my childhood. Wow I googled his death after this and even more sad, he became broke and ended up driving taxis and his death was suspicious. What a sad end to a man who brought such happiness to so many with his role in Mind Your Language. RIP Barry Evans 🌹

Thank you for putting this together! My dad recorded these on VHS when we lived in England in the 80s and I watched them growing up in Oman in the late 90s. Sad to see so many that have passed away but Father Time catches up with all of us.
Epic show, to say the least. I have ever-lasting memories of watching this show with my entire family on PTV ( Pakistan ). Immensely saddened to know that many of the stars of this show are not with us. Teacher Brown’s character exceptionally played by Mr. Barry Evans is etched in my memory and knowing he left us at such a young age broke my heart to pieces. May all who passed away rest in eternal peace. Suffice to say that they will be remembered with extreme fondness for years to come…

These characters form my childhood memories. Shocked that some are not with us again. However, glad many of them are still here. Mr. Brown or Teacher Brown's passing shocked me the most. He was the soul of the sitcom. Thank you for updating us.
The sitcom I’ve been waiting for when i was a kid. Watching and learning simple English at the same time. I’m watching them in the you tube until today on my free time.
I remember this sitcom as being one of the very best shows in Nigeria back in the 80s. A real gem of a show. Brilliantly scripted and acted with each 100% believable. Just a small clarification to say he was working as a Mini Cab driver after hitting hard times! In 1997 he was found dead in his house! In February 1997, police discovered Evans's body in his living room after going to the house to tell him that they had recovered his stolen car, which had been reported missing the day before. The cause of his death has never been confirmed. The coroner found a blow to Evans's head and also found high levels of alcohol in his system. A short will was found on a table next to his body and a spilt packet of aspirin tablets was found on the floor, bearing a pre - decimalisation price tag (i.e., before 1971), indicating that the pack was at least 26 years old; although the coroner concluded that he had not taken any of them. An open verdict was eventually given. An 18-year-old boy was arrested but later released without charge due to insufficient evidence. Evans was cremated at Golder's Green Crematorium. May he rest in peace!🙏🙏🙏
The characters were so perfected cast that we fell in love not only with them but also with their respective cultures.. It was beautifully written.. Missing those days

Just watched this . Thank you for posting.. sadly they are missed. What indelible characters everyone one of them . What a brilliant comedy that so many friends have in common all over the world and many years later .. bless them all ✨🙏🏾💜
Comedies back then were truly funny. This one has a light hearted feel to it. There is so much fun when addressing these cross cultural issues where no one feels insulted. I hope to see a revival of such comedic dramas in today's very divisive society.
I discovered this marvellous show in November 2023 through RUclips and now I am stuck with it watching all the episodes I could find on RUclips . It's sad we don't find this kind of comedic and marvelous genuine comedy again in the 21st century.
Brings back such great memories of when I was only 10... all my love ones were alive and now sadly gone. Used to watch it on our black and white TV with a dial selector for the channels... Good days 😢
Memories of the most beautiful golden days, unfortunately their departure is our great loss, but this is God will and everyone must have to leave one day It is true when they said the old is gold .
Life was good back then. One tv, 2 to 3 channels. We had to wait for a week to see our favourite sitcom or cartoon show. People had patience. Modern world has taken away from us our patience. We want everything right now.
What a series it was! That was comedy in the real sense! Those of us who watched it so eagerly then, (obviously old now), brings back happy cheerful memories.
The best ever sitcom of that time which I have totally missed daily and ever in this world, good friends!!!REST IN PEACE TO THE RESPECTIVE CELEBRITIES WHO HAVE LEFT THIS WORLD,GOOD FRIENDS!!!🙏🏻
Back in the 1970s, things were so different and seemed more peaceful than it is in 2023. The movie series was initially introduced in our class in 2012 while I was a student attending a teaching English program. It was hilarious and awesome. Since then, the movie series has been played in my class. Top-notch credits to all of the players.

"It's sad to watch this series in 2024, and upon discovering this great, meaningful comedy, I found out that most of them are dead, having lived long lives for some and short lives for others. They departed while still in their prime, which is very sad. This is life, my friends. I write this comment while alive, but perhaps next year, I'll be dead. We must learn to live and enjoy without hurting others, as life is short, and only our actions will remain."

Always mention the year (2023) not " now " , so fuuuuture readers shall understand with God's Will (In Shaa Allah)
Enjoyed this show so much in its short run. Some may be gone but All are Not forgotten. Repeat runs still bring laughter none the less 😍👍🏼
I think I spotted an error. The photo on the left at time 16.08 is Dickie Davies, the presenter of World Of Sport, on the ITV channel in the UK, and not Harry Littlewood. He did the job for 20 years. Dickie Davies died early in 2023.
I was just going to make the same observation until I noticed tour comment
Yeah that is indeed Dickie Davies how could you get that so wrong? 🤔🙄
Just seen this as well ..glaring mistake
16:08 correction for future readers
Dickie Davies did air in the show once, but clearly he put the wrong pic for Harry Littlewood.
The whole team on the screen and behind worked so precisely to entertain us that they live in our memories alive.
❤
@Emily-bh5woyes very very big big fan
Beautifully and lovingly composed.
Thank you!
I first watched this as a child in the 90s. I am now watching it on RUclips.
I didn’t know the program was from the 70s
What a great show.
Thank you for this video!!
RIP those who are no more with us and long live other artists who are with us. Your show made us to enjoy to its maximum. Thanks for sharing this info.
Lovely channel..those years 1977😌
RIP
Salam with nostalgic❤ from malaysia singapore 🇲🇾🇬🇧✌️
May all the souls of the deceased rest in peace. Was rewatching the series when your video got recommended. Ali and Mr Brown.😢
Mr Brown died in his 50s that really young.
God bless all of them for their service in the arts. MYL is a timeless piece🙏🏾💜🕊
Simply nostalgic. It was a great entertainment. All characters were so lively. May God bless them all, those living and those who have passed away.
Thanks a lot, wishing for best of luck for all those survivors and very sad to hear about those who left us.
You took us all into the golden era of our life. I'm 43 and this video brought tears into my eyes. I love all the characters but Jeremy Brown was king of the show. 💞😔 Thank you for sharing this video with us.
Yeah bro, same age and feel exactly the same watching this video. some died so young.
@@shadab-8 Doesn't matter how many times we watch this show it will never get old. We used to watch in Kuwait in the 80's 😀
@@FarhanKhan-kr6xo we used to watch in Dubai then lol. Yeah still a classic.
@@shadab-8 😀
Just watched this . Thank you for posting.. sadly they are missed. What indelible characters everyone one of them . Watched this in Nz in late 70s when I was fresh off the boat from Fiji.. helped me laugh at my own situation.
What a brilliant comedy that so many friends have in common all over the world and many years later ..
bless them all ✨🙏🏾💜
I watched it in NZ as well
Comedies back then were truly funny. This one has a light hearted feel to it. There is so much fun when addressing these cross cultural issues where no one feels insulted. I hope to see a revival of such comedic dramas in today's very divisive society.
I'm currently watching this series and only half an hour remaining, what a series ❤ really enjoyed ❤
I discovered this marvellous show in November 2023 through RUclips and now I am stuck with it watching all the episodes I could find on RUclips .
It's sad we don't find this kind of comedic and marvelous genuine comedy again in the 21st century.
Same here....now my heart is aching knowing about the characters who passed away 😢😢😢
Brings back such great memories of when I was only 10... all my love ones were alive and now sadly gone. Used to watch it on our black and white TV with a dial selector for the channels... Good days 😢
My childhood favourite ❤ 😍 💕 💖 all of them no matter for how long they appeared, all of them are and were fabulous
Sorry for the ones who have passed away 😢
It is a great show and I love it and have watched it fully
May Allah rest their souls in peace!
Memories of the most beautiful golden days, unfortunately their departure is our great loss, but this is God will and everyone must have to leave one day It is true when they said the old is gold .
Why you call it golden days ????
Ali Nadim and Mr. Brown are my most favourite characters.
In fact, every one of that great show was an outstanding actor.
I showed this show to my daughters and they love it too and I don’t remember how many times I watched this show … absolutely love it
Favourite show. Thank you very much for updating. Lovable characters.
Wish I could go back to that innocent era. ❤😂🎉
Life was good back then. One tv, 2 to 3 channels. We had to wait for a week to see our favourite sitcom or cartoon show. People had patience. Modern world has taken away from us our patience. We want everything right now.
Those were the days my friend we thought they’d never end. The greatest show we had.
Thank you for this. Miss mind your language
My family and I used to watch this almost every night I was maybe 4 - 6 years of age we'd sit there as a family enjoying life. It's crazy how life changes TV isn't just this golden and it's sad that most of the people from the show past away RIP 🕊️🕊️🕊️
I LOVED THIS SHOW! SUPERB SCRIPT, EXCELLENT ACTING , AND CLEAN LANGUAGE. NO CURSE WORDS , DECENT HUMOUR !!! A SHOW YOU COULD WATCH WITH ALL GENERATIONS!!! UNLIKE THE FILTH THAT IS ON TV THESE DAYS
this is the only sitcom I remember growing up with my beloved late parents. thank you for the great entertainment and laughs .rip
Thanks for Sharing ❤❤
Amazing incredible people God bless everyone 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Our best years of our lives I absolutely loved them all all had their own special characteristics and ever so funny PURE LEGENDS ❤❤❤ RIP the people who are not with us anymore 🙏🙏
Not all have died tragically…caption is wrong. Why is there a picture of Dickie Davies?
That was him wasn't it?
Yes it was but why though?
😅😅😅😅😊
Very true observation!!
Dickie Davies was never in mind your language 😅😅😅
Thank you for making this video ....and I'm sure the entire cast are thanking you too (even those from the Heavens above) 💫🌹
Thank you for sharing... One of my fav SitCom.. Love them all
Vety sad to know that majority of these actors passed away. They were truely gems and did wonderful job. They put smile on many faces due to their wonderful performance
The best series ive ever seen & can go on watching it.
One of the best sitcoms, every single scene is a special on it is own. Sorry to know that many actors passed away.
Great Tribute to all the amazing characters in " Mind your Language". Each of you was unique. Thanks to the good Director, "Stuart Allen".
All of you gave us beautiful memories and laughters. Love ❤ expressed for you, shows, the beautiful people in the world has not forgotten you.

I loved them all not one is above another . All Charectors are irreplaceable. Can't compare. .
Me too
I’m living their short clips, and celebrating their comic genius, on RUclips. To me they’re all still alive and kicking. ❤❤❤
