"Aim for good enough" is something I've been working on and turns out that good enough is actually pretty good and also helped understand how many other things I could do and not just sit with that one thing
One of my best tip is telling myself: less is more, slow is fast, don’t rush but don’t wait. This totally cures my procrastination and takes the pressure off a lot of daunting task😊
Something that helps me save time is running errands on the way home from work. For example, if I need some things from the grocery store, I get it on the way home since I'm already passing it on my commute. If I need gas, I do the same, etc. It avoids having to drive around at different times or going back and forth. Something else that also saves me time is cleaning my room while a load of laundry is washing, when I'm finished cleaning my room, I'll put the clothes in the dryer (or hang if it's delicate) and then move onto another task. I tend to have more energy after work, so I schedule in my important personal tasks then like running errands, cleaning, laundry, working out, etc.
I love your suggestions Jilz-there are so many nuggets of gold to draw from. I would add that taking extra time to really think through what you will need in any situation and preparing ahead can save so much time, energy, and stress. Going a little slower, loving your future self enough to prepare for her needs…it’s so helpful. Also, when you get to the last 1/3 of something (gas, a food item, etc.) take the time to replenish it. So much of living well and with ease is not allowing yourself to get cornered, with fewer options, because you thought “I will just take care of it later”….and you don’t. The results are stressful and break the flow of your day. Be willing to be a little inconvenienced now to avoid a bigger issue later.
Honestly the thing that has saved me the most time has been the notion that you showed us how to make! The template was out of my price range but I did use it as an opportunity to follow the guide you showed and it helped me to understand how to use notion better. I was able to customize it according to what I wanted to focus on in life and I'm getting so many more goals done this year, so thank you!!
Hi Jillz! I just wanna thank you for your videos. You're my utmost favorite youtuber. I discovered you when I first began working on my feminine energy. You're truly a classy woman. It surprises me that you don't have more subscribers. I wouldn't be shocked to find that one day you reach the million mark! Please don't stop creating these videos.
Love Cal Newport - hearing that I stop being as productive after 4 hours was liberating. I kept trying to go full steam for 8+ hours and was always burnt out
I love your energy, I definitely feel like I’m coming into my own feminine energy after I had kids, before that I used to collect “trophies” to make my resume look better, and I had a lot of masculine energy; ever since I started focusing on myself my family the feminine energy just flow out naturally
This is so helpful, especially the tips that are catered to us like the energy levels. I find that so many people have one single template for how to do things, but truthfully that doesn't always work for everybody. I'm glad you're showing multiple ways!
I open a tea shop two years ago with my boyfriend last years. Everything you say is perfect for my situation. Especially "Everything don't need to be perfect". Thank you so much to remind us ❤
This is great! These habits seem simple, but they can actually make a big difference. Especially the idea of scheduling tasks based on personal energy levels-I often feel sluggish in the afternoons and never thought about adjusting my tasks to fit that. Thanks for sharing; I’ll definitely try applying some of these tips!😊😊😊
These are great! One of my habits is to make lists of routine things.... For example, I have a list for laundry day of all the dirtly laundry I need to collect around the home (I always seem to miss the bath mat)... And one for travelling, all the things I need to pack (and different lists for different styles of travel, road trip vs international trip). Another useful list is for the days I work away from hom- a list of what I need to pack in my bag (I never forget my vitamins now). Lists for repeatable tasks /events save the day and brain power.
Great advice!! Another hack: I have a little bag already packed, if I need to travel with hygiene products like toothbrush, tooth paste, facecream, cotton balls, foundation etc.,, so I dont need to always take things from my bathroom, basically, I dont need to pack my beauty box, I Just take it! 🎉🎉❤
Hey Jillz, thank you so much for these tips! I wondered if you've thought of using alternatives to Amazon for a lot of those products you 'subscribe' to? There are loads of more environmentally friendly and more ethical brands out there who offer the same subscribe service for the items you mentioned, it would help people and planet. I hope you agree, love your content 😊
Do you store the bulk and everyday items together or does the bulk go in a separate place? For example, chapstick - would you put one by the bed and one in the medicine cabinet and put the rest somewhere else or stuff all the extras in the medicine cabinet? 🙏
the video: deep work for 4h my life: uni lessons 8am-7pm some days, 10am-4pm the other days, coming back home through traffic, cooking, taking shower, doing some cleaning and studying for the next day
I think you make a good point. Advice for you - if you are not mentally your sharpest at2pm but you have a class, ask if you can record the class. In your notes write times down that you want to review the lecture. That way you can still do well in the class despite the time. Uni is a lot of work! Good luck.
Wow, I didn’t realize how helpful that would be. I have ADHD and Autism, and so stuff that’s easy for others is going to be deep work for me. If I’m keeping my house in perfect order, I have nothing left in me to call up my friends. I typically socialize in batches, and see friends every day for a week and just ignore my housework and laundry for that week. I’ve tried to break myself of at least having such gaps between calling friends, and have had no success so far! This provides a little more insight into what’s going on.
Tip: I use your Notion template (love it!) and on the agenda page under “to-do this week” I have created subcategories that help me batch my list of to-do’s into similar activities, ie “home”, “errands”, “computer”, “calls”, “discuss” and “personal”. It allows me to batch all my errands, calls, etc and also allows me to pick and choose categories according to my energy levels.
Holy cr@p! Have multiples of the same thing throughout your home! This one was a firework moment. I was raised in a lack environment and I am slowly digging that out of my psyche but this one? I had it ingrained that 1 was enough. Reuse that one and that's all you need but I can't tell you how often I have run around looking for the cord that was supposed to be by my bed that I used in the car because, nah I don't need to replace the car one. One is enough.... This applies to other things but to make my point, only having one when I can and want more than one, is ok. It's not wasteful. This may seem silly to many but wow, what an eye opener for me.... Thanks! ❤
Hi Jillz, sorry for my bad english, i'm french but I just want to thank you for your videos and advice. You help me so much to get a better life and be a better person (and better english I hope) ! ✨
Jillz I loved this Video! By now I trust in your recommendations so much that I started the energy tracker right away. Thank you for the tip, I am already recognizing patterns that i wasnt aware of before. sending love from germany!
Not a fan of some of the negativity in this comment section! Not every one of her videos will resonate with you and that’s ok! Loved these tips Jillz and I love your content!
Same here! Can't please everyone. I always get something out of your videos even if they aren't a perfect fit for my current stage of life, and that's ok! I wish people weren't so negative...
Jillz , thank you for sharing your insights and wisdom, they’re unique but they hit the nail on the head and it is so helpful , always look forward to what you have to say and apply that to life ❤
i'd be so interested to see your meal preps for breakfast!! i don't have much time in the mornings as I have early lectures that I have to go to, so if you made a video or even just like linked some easy meal prep breakfasts to make on sunday nights i would love that!! 💖
Thank you for the information. I actually did deep work for exactly 4 hours today, and I was so done after that, though I do feel accomplished now. I really enjoy your videos. Much love ❤
Imagine being in healthcare, 12 hours of all the mental focus, multiple times a week, I’m really just tired. How are we supposed to live really. Struggling with all the reels I watch sometimes. Rotting on the days off is really bad. But I’m working on it. But anyway, I was outsourcing laundry at one time and I loved it. But my most favorite was a meal delivery plan. Saved me so much time in wondering what to eat, healthy meals to cook while meeting my macros and nutrients. Looking back, I was at my best truly. Maybe I’ll look into that again. The one I had closed sadly. I also get Walmart delivered, nothing raw most of the time.
I honestly didn’t have much hope before watching this video, but I watched the whole thing and found it very useful. Personally, I’ve always felt like my workday isn’t efficient. Out of 8 hours, I only feel like 3 to 4 hours are productive, and I always want to increase my efficiency. But from what you said, this is completely normal if we only have 4 truly productive hours in a workday. Thank you so much for sharing this knowledge.
Thank you so much for these tips. I struggle a lot with time management and overthinking. Im going to start implementing these into my day to day ^.^ I hope this helps me slow down in my chaotic world
This actually really helps!! Im an incoming college student (which makes the last tip about the four hours of deep work, kind of comical in the expectations for us, but implementing that tip in the long run 😂)
I’m currently looking for a better job aligned with my energy levels bc my crazy job now requires upwards of 8 hours of intellectual “deep work” now. It’s led to crazy burn out and mental fatigue so I can’t wait for something more balanced to come my way!
Wow you just popped up on my feed, and I clearly need advice or two.... So I just got hired, this is my first ever company (Fresh Graduate) and I work as a marketing at a realty firm I learn MUCH, thank you soo much for this video I really wish to incorporate work-life balance. Wish me luck for the coming week 😬😬😭❤️
Thank you for your great tips! In answer to your question about my time-saving habits. I created my company Peacorr to help me find my way after a severe burn out/drain out. Every morning I take a few minutes to plan my day, often during my morning prayer walk. Each letter stands for important elements I want to include. P: purpose E: exercise, eat, expenses A: act of kindness C: celebrate my victories and clean something O: opportunities to learn, play R: reward myself R: rest. I have about 60 tik toks as well to explain. Thank you again!!!
A little disappointed, honestly, and feeling like I don’t belong in this club... I’m all about automation - I am a queen of efficiency! - but some of these tips are just really irrelevant to the average worker. It doesn’t matter when my energy peaks or ebbs, I have a job with children that requires me to be running on full cylinders for well over “four hours of deep work” - which you gave a single sentence acknowledging, but no strategies except “do your best”. Consistently outsourcing is not financially tenable for lower income households. I’m not sure you remember - or perhaps have ever known - what life was like before you could afford to buy your own schedule, and I’m genuinely glad you have that advantage, but much of the advice here just isn’t applicable for most folks and it feels like you’re inadvertently shutting them out of the conversation.
She seems to be speaking directly to entrepreneurs or remote workers. Not all our lives look the same. The "club" doesn't exclude anyone this isn't helpful for. Maybe reflect on why you're having these feelings. Maybe you need a change and your current lifestyle isn't working for you. Maybe you need to vent and for someone to hear you and validate your feelings. Either way, you're in the club and if this particular video doesn't help you, go to one that does and put smiles on those beautiful faces.
I think most of us are already living that life or building that life, so her advice aligns with us. If it doesn't align with yours, it's fine she still has good advice. There are other RUclipsrs to watch as well.
I agree - also very generic time saving tips, things a lot of YTs / SM creators say, but in reality don’t work unless you are self-employed and definitely not client side
This is an excellent video Jillz! Valuable content and spot-on delivery. You have amazing energy and your videos are so inspiring, insightful and very practical and achievable. I love it that you also keep your focus on cultivating and maintaining feminine energy. Watching your videos has tremendously improved my life. I will definitely rewatch this video many times in the future. Thank you for being a part of my life’s journey. 🫶
I feel the best when I don't have to rush in the morning, so I took a job that is starting always in the afternoon, so in the morning I am waking up around 10, having breakfast, all stuff to do and lunch, then work, then in evening relax or workout and honestly that is the best life I ever had
Oursource is really helpful for me!!I bought a fitness course so that I have a coach to focus my workout and diet plan,it really save me a lot of time and using it on studying and creation
I love these tips especially the moving and logging or taking advantage of that time doing a second thing. ESPECIALLY when being physically because energy needs motions and so to move that energy- so many things can be downloaded. It’s funny because what I like to do is my self care- (fishing and being on the water, and I get downloads and inspirations, and I’m helping my nervous system, requiring my brain etc, and it also encourages me to eat healthier when I’m on the water because the food is cleaner when I prepare it myself and can’t go buy a burger if I get emotional lol. I use the water for my mental health and wellbeing, and for emotional regulation. Being in nature is like medicine and so it’s my therapy. I’d say I’m knocking out a bunch of things that I need, by doing something I love- and that’s really why we are here isn’t it? To do the things we love and share that light 💡 with others?
I have a specific morning routine that I do every day. It covers a lot of small tasks. While still in bed, I post a specific number of memes, I also learn a language on Duolingo. I then get up, make my bed, take a shower and get dressed. I then brush my teeth, down 20 ounces of water, clean the sink and toilet. I then feed our pets. Then I sit down with a cup of coffee to relax. I am then ready for my first cup of coffee of the morning (my husband starts the coffee)
I arrange all my errands/appointments/gym/etc by distance and back to back so that I don’t waste time running around the city, having to return home and then go to the other side of the city for sth else!
I don't write comments on youtube but todah after watching this video I thought should go for it. I totally agree with you of being strategic with time because on internet many gurus are saying ' if you want to become successful then wake up early'. I don't agree with this statement because everyone is different some are morning people and others are night one. So I always tell people change the system not yourself because once you identify what's work and what doesnt then it's easy to do things. Btw I'm night person who always feel focused and produtive after 9:00 pm and and day time I'm not that sharp and creative.
Usually overnight oats with berries and some sort of protein on the side that I eat first. Usually animal protein because I can’t eat eggs. It doesn’t go perfectly together but it gets the job done!
All of this sounds really good in theory and I’m really happy for the people who’s life and work allows for “max 4 hours of deep work” and where “working with your energy levels” is a possibility. Sometimes that’s just not possible. Nevertheless, great video Jillz and definitely food for thought :)
I agree with you :) However, adding to your point on deep work, I highly recommend Cal Newport's podcast "Deep Questions". There Cal explains in more depth what deep work is and how it works. This concept doesn't mean you just work 4 hours and the rest of the day you dedicate it to leisure. It means you focus deeply on the task at hand for work for maximum 4 hours (let's say research for an important work presentation, or even coding, etc.) and then for the rest of the day you can do the rest of your work tasks that do not require your brain to work at full capacity with deep concentration, like sending emails, going to meetings, etc.
@@Taylor5184Office jobs are a breed of their own. Many people are working manual labor, education, service industry, etc, where there’s not an ebb and flow to workload, it’s constantly “on”. For them, those particular pieces of advice are not very useful.
I have everything I use on my Amazon storefront here! www.amazon.com/shop/jillzguerin/list/3M7UV1PDQ9KR9?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_aipsfjillzguerin_RBMM51KVQB9ZBGNB0T02&fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAaY4DY7D6LoRL3LdE-mjFrlw_1feHP_WmrnbTxGrEPuo9eWy-_7_eKLWKUA_aem_XOPUayvw5vPQKxC361NfFg
To be strategic with your energy and rythm sounds nice and all but you know people with full time jobs actually have to perform work tasks during their non-optimal hours and can’t just go do acupuncture and chores, right? We have to do all those things after working hours or during our lunch break or we have to take PTO if it’s really urgent
Outsourcing: YES! I Learnt that with my in laws. Who outsource simple but energy consuming tasks. Like deep cleaning the house. Or store organizations. And I think it's sensible.
“Work with your energy level” is perfect for me as someone with an autoimmune disorder and chronic pain. Thanks for the tips❤️❤️
You’re so welcome 🥰❤️
@@JillzGuerinbut what about the healthy lifestyle. We should sleep early and wake up early. Our body has a biological clock. We can’t deny on that.

I’m not sure you remember - or perhaps have ever known - what life was like before you could afford to buy your own schedule, and I’m genuinely glad you have that advantage, but much of the advice here just isn’t applicable for most folks and it feels like you’re inadvertently shutting them out of the conversation.
Or 9-5 workers, like me. I would like to do my favorite activities, but I'm trapped in the office
Thank you, this is really helpful. Please share about our energy based on our menstrual cycle.
As always, loved this video!! 😊
I love your videos. They spark my feminine energy and have made me fall in love with myself. Thanks a lot ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So glad you liked it! 🥰
I really liked these advices, thank you very much!!
Best video on RUclips, thank you so much for your effort
💕💕💕
I arrange all my errands/appointments/gym/etc by distance and back to back so that I don’t waste time running around the city, having to return home and then go to the other side of the city for sth else!
I do this too!
Wow ! I love your lighting and camera! Also your video! Would you mind sharing which camera are you using? ❤❤😊
Thank you for sharing. That’s really great advice!😃
LOVE this video = I am working on outsourcing more!
Great video. Thanks! You mentioned breakfast meal prep. What do you usually prepare for breakfast?
Usually overnight oats with berries and some sort of protein on the side that I eat first. Usually animal protein because I can’t eat eggs. It doesn’t go perfectly together but it gets the job done!
Getting the job done is super important! Thanks for replying. You are an inspiration!
it resonated with me so bad! thanks!
Wow, super helpful tips to save time! Thanks for sharing ❤

Love it so much
i dont like studying?? how to i outsource studying??
Love it! Thank you
All of this sounds really good in theory and I’m really happy for the people who’s life and work allows for “max 4 hours of deep work” and where “working with your energy levels” is a possibility.
The irony of me watching this instead of counting to 5 and getting up to work out😂😂😂 awesome video
Great tips
Amazing 😍🤩❤
Tks girllll
Queen 💗🌸
Thank you big sis
💕💕
i relly liked speech over the video my subscription to you
You should take and use your own pictures on your thumbnails!! You would take good ones and I think it would be more cute and authentic 🌸🌸🌻🌷
Where do you buy your tops? They're always so pretty!
Ah thank you! I always link my tops/dresses in the description box 😊
Good luck this has a podcast very the benefit ( I am from in the Iraq south Sulaymaniyah)
8:58 wow this was one of my biggest and stupid routines 😮🤦🏽♀️
Your videos always look so nice! What camera/lens do you use?
I have everything I use on my Amazon storefront here! www.amazon.com/shop/jillzguerin/list/3M7UV1PDQ9KR9?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_aipsfjillzguerin_RBMM51KVQB9ZBGNB0T02&fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAaY4DY7D6LoRL3LdE-mjFrlw_1feHP_WmrnbTxGrEPuo9eWy-_7_eKLWKUA_aem_XOPUayvw5vPQKxC361NfFg
@@JillzGuerin thank you! And OF COURSE thank you for your content as well, it’s so empowering! 😘
To be strategic with your energy and rythm sounds nice and all but you know people with full time jobs actually have to perform work tasks during their non-optimal hours and can’t just go do acupuncture and chores, right? We have to do all those things after working hours or during our lunch break or we have to take PTO if it’s really urgent
thank you for uploading 💗💗💗
💕💕
You should get a walking pad - perfect for walking while working!
I was just looking at some yesterday! I think I’m going to 😊
Putting orders on repeat also saves money because that "quick trip" to the store for paper towels that ends up costing $50 isn't necessary. :)
Work with my energy level I’d really get nothing done being a permanently exhausted pigeon 😅
Outsourcing: YES! I Learnt that with my in laws. Who outsource simple but energy consuming tasks. Like deep cleaning the house. Or store organizations. And I think it's sensible.
The fact that I know all that but I needed someone to remind me.
Irrelevant ....but you look ai generated ❤.. absolutely stunning 🎉
