Thanks for the pond fishing technicue video. I hope , in one day to see your fly fishing video , I've bought a cheap fly fishing combo , new and very interesting way to fish 😀
Loved this! You gave a nice walk through of each presentation. Helps people like me that are trying to step outside of basic deadstick or spinner presentations! Hope you make more of these!
He makes it look easy time after time he's taught me a lot about trout fishing and explaining everything just like to know have you ever fished for trout at night if so do you have any tips
I looked through all of your video history, can't find you trying Berkley Powerbait Nymphs, maybe I missed it. Best thing I've tried with a bubble float.
You have that goofy right handed fishing style like I do! I don’t see that very much. Glad I’m not the only one. My buddies always give me crap for it. But yet I catch more fish than they do!
I picked up a Pro Staff deal with Mike's Custom Lures. That's why I've been posting n pushing his stuff. Cant wait to put the mini grubs in some 1 on 1 challenges with the creek bugs n mini minners....
I have a problem with trout swallowing the hook when lake fishing. Is it all about setting the hook as soon as you feel the bite or the style of hook? Thanks!
Hmm for drop shot setup did you use a standard hook 8 or jig hook for creek bug ? I never thought of using them that way for lake fishing. Mike from Canada
@@michaelhebert8984Aberdeen hooks work well with dripshotting too, the long shank helps prevent gut hooking a little and makes it easier to unhook also, and I think it’s longer shank also helps with hook up ratio on some baits, I just take pliers and bend the eye of the hook up a little bit so it sits on the drop shot rig nicer
Afternoon! Brand new to your channel. Been watching vids all morning! Lovin them. Tell me, your hellbender net, you have that in and out so fast and so easy. It’s always out of the way and also readily available. Can you explain a little but how you are carrying, attaching etc?
Thanks for watching everyone!
☕
as soon as I got up this morning,
I got my coffee and started watching this awesome fish catching video. Which by the way it is.
Thanks for watching! And have a blessed day brother

That is something I've never done. I've heard they will bite at night but haven't given it a try myself
Nice👍
Thanks!
Never really fished lakes or pond for trout great vids
Thanks! It's a blast
Great as always
Thanks!
great video, where do you buy the water bobbers at? and how do you rig it up?
I buy them from Amazon. On the first video on this pond I went indepth on rigging the bobber

It's a older video and I can't remember the title. I believe it was a 1v1 video

Where do you put your rod once you’ve caught a fish? I haven’t found quick release mechanism that works as well as yours
I usually tuck it under my arm
@@NRVOutdoors Thanks for the response, love the content!

Heck yeah! Have fun out there
Really enjoy learning new tips and tricks from you. I notice you release the fish really quickly. Do you use barb less hooks or file clean or??
I pinch the barb down
Id love to try that pond, is it guillion fork pond?

Both can factor in to hut hooking. I recommend circle hooks and setting the hook as soon as possible
I’d like to also see you making the casts!
That pond look so familiar!! Without telling me the name could you tell me the county? I've fished there as a kid I know it.
Can't disclose the county but it's definitely a familiar place to many men on Va
@@NRVOutdoors Thanks!! I'm sure I'll find it on my rounds.
another awesome video. you mentioned bass fishing in an older video I watched, will you ever upload bass fishing vids?
Definitely a possibility in the coming months

And no we don't have alot of stocked lakes or ponds but I like the idea to try though.
I used a standard j hook
Thanks for watching!

It's on a magnetic clip attached to a loop on the back of my vest
Ha ok it looks like it comes from your hip ha
are there any wild trout there?
Yes
could you come to Finland to fish with us sometime?
Bobber fishing in February - who-da-thunk!
It's a blast!
Yes - topwater trout fishing!
@@jeffwerth2707 I don't think he's fishing topwater; that's a slip bobber rig with a stop; check out the previous pond fishing video.
