This Creek and area looks fantastic, a nice little place to do a lot of hiking and walking even have a picnic or two or even horseback riding as well. But most importantly is a lot of trout fishing. Great tips for midday trout! Gorgeous, big 'bows! Love your casting technique--have to give that a try! I have had great luck fishing Trout Magnets on 2 lb. test mono, both jigging and fished under a float. Catches just about anything!
U have some husky trout out there in W. Virginia. OMG. Stockers aren't like that in so cal lol

That's some day of fishing. Been using a trout magnet jig under a balsa float with various lures and bait's. It's been pretty good for me. Just casting from shore. Looking forward to trying the creek bug's I ordered.👍

Which Pfleuger president do you have? Just started trout fishing and I built a 1 piece Okuma guide select pro 7.6 foot with president 25 on 6lb Fluro and thinking about going with a 6 foot st. Croix for better mobility and accessibility finding fishing holes. Thoughts?

I read an article on f s and they took a 19 in rainbow and pulled 23 Voles( mice) out of its gut. Have also read trout like mice, esp rainbow and brook.
What is your technique when they follow so far and then turn , follow so far and then turn?.like that last fish was doing. Stop , slow down and let em bump it????
