Compared to the cost of the DAv3Pro Wireless, I spent just a tad over $100 and picked up a DAv2 X Hyperspeed for on-the-go along with some rechargeable lithium AAA batteries, and for home-only use, a DAv3Pro Wired, which will never leave my desk. I love both of them, though the shape of the v3 is a bit better than the v2. The X Hyperspeed is a perfect travel companion mouse. Both fit my XL hands great!
@@rpns.3403 My GPX was White, and my DaV3Pro is Black, it could be that, but I think that the coating on the DaV3Pro is perfect. Maybe avoid white coating in general?

i heard a lot of people saying bad things about the wired version, with the cable being worse then most mice out there and that it barely last a whole year, tons of reviews neglecting the cable about its conection over 6 months of use it is just sad.
They used chalk texture like coating because chalk powder is usually used for gripping in gym, some sports, and rock climbing. 😂but for a mouse idk why
I thought about this and the chalky sandpapery feeling of the pro I feel would be more grippy with sweaty hands. I have the rubber wired one and I feel like I would like the feel of the chalky plastic better.
i currently have an aerox 9 steelseries wireless and are having major issues with grip and feel. It's very slippy and at times grimy from the smooth matte type finish and holds the sweat on the surface, would you say this is a better material to help with that issue? or would you suggest grip tape/rubber tape and where is best to find some thank you

Funnily enough, I have quite sweaty hands but I absolutely hate the rubberized coating on my GPX, and vastly prefer the texture on my Orochi V2. It's such a shame they ditched the charging dock pins on the Pro, it's a convenience I'm not sure I want to give up
Yeah a lot of these things come down to preference really, thanks for the input! If the charging dock is really important, you could check out the Zowie EC wireless series as well, review coming for those. It is a tradeoff as you are getting a slightly heavier mouse and not the blazing tech that Razer has, but still great performance nonetheless.
