    Adderall, lsd, dmt and psilocybin containing mushroom are amazing. I could remember several years ago, i was diagnosed with cptsd. Also suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 6 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

      From my experience it really works excellently! It doesnt even need to be a full hit. With potent shrooms 2-3 small ones will still make a clear difference. It will be a few hour cosy rumbling moment around rest time, but afterwards its just calm and you feel amazing and gain your freedom. Psilocybin is different dudes, its the only "treatment" I would recommend to someone who genuinely wants to get better. There is no addiction, withdrawal, or negative side effects. It's just pure healing., far more effective than any anti-depressant. You can thank me later,

    • @EthanEdward-wx7ut
      @EthanEdward-wx7ut 3 месяца назад

      I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them again, either. I wish there was a good, organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.

    Just throwing this out there: I have ADD. I didn't know why I lived my life the way I did for a very long time. I was finally diagnosed at the age of 37 and it changed my life completely. From staying on top of my bills to thriving in my career. I take 50 mg per day of adderall. I recently had a brain scan recommended by my neurologist for ringing in my ears but my brain is perfectly fine for my age. Also, before surgery in August and before the MRI- they checked my liver and my numbers were very low (that's good)! I'm just saying, don't discount it because you don't need it or don't understand adult ADD.

    • @OMGitsShrimp

      I agree. I think the only difference is that taking adderall with a nonADHD brain long term, messes up your normal dopamine levels. Where as for ADHDers we already have a below average level and this brings us to a normal level.
      I think taking it when your brain levels are normal and you don’t need it puts you at greater risk for abusing it.
      But it’s not that simple for anyone taking it. There are still other side effects that occur in all people who take it.

      Thanks for sharing, I think it's criminal that they give people with high-risk addiction literal amphetamines. I got addicted for 5 years and it took 1.5 years to be back to normal, this drug is a nightmare and I hate seeing it glorified. Almost lost my life to that stuff. They're all bad and deplete your brain of dopamine and require you to take pills to stimulate a neuro-transmiter thats been rung out like a sponge. THEY ALL DO IT. You can "monitor" all you want, you're still changing the chemical make-up of your brain and training it to require what ever pill you're taking. Eat a healthy diet, (no refined sugars, processed crap, dairy and wheat) thats how I control my ADHD...really not that hard and I feel way better.
      Sorry for the small rant, I just hate seeing people get addicted and people in the comments say "uhm were you monitered?" "did you try a different pill?" like come on, I was "monitered" and I still got addicted, have people not learned from the opioid crisis...? I tried other pills and they made me super angry. Best thing for your brain is to just not take anything, eat well, and exercise.

      ROB I'm not sure that we're on the same page? I was thinking that for most people, adderall tends to speed up their thinking, increase anxiety, and maybe jumble up their speech a bit. That's not to say that we don't all have trouble focusing at least on occasion.

    • @robVALORANT
      @robVALORANT 6 лет назад +2

      Sure Lock To summarize, we can sit here and argue about what happens to you on adderall and what happens to me on adderall and never get anywhere because we will always differ in many ways. You benefit from it in ways I do not and vice versa. Same applies to the harm it could possibly cause to us. If a person with heart problems in their family takes adderall they run the risk of heart problems. Then maybe another person will never have any heart problems but their liver will fuck up. AND MAYBE it goes the other way around! The person with heart problems running in the family will be the one to have liver failure. Everything is relative..

    • @surelock3221
      @surelock3221 6 лет назад

      ROB I said "for most people", not everyone, although in hind sight maybe I should have said "some people".
      I read both of your long comments and I completely agree, but I'd like to point out that "Anxiety is a self-induced thought" is not always true because it's possible (but probably not common) for some people to feel anxious even without having anxious thoughts. I had a friend that would occasionally wake up feeling physically anxious with his only anxious thought being "why am I so anxious?"
      Looking back I think I was exhausted when I replied to your comment because I was thinking of the effects of adderall as being on a -10 to 10 scale, and I mistakenly thought that you thought I was saying it's on a 0 to 10 scale.

    I have been taking Adderall as prescribed for 16 years. I have accomplished a lot in my life since my treatment began. I never shared or abused my medication. Adderall is not for everyone but it can be very beneficial to those who struggle with Narcolepsy, ADD, or ADHD. Many new practitioners fresh out of med school, are under the impression that too many people take Adderall that don’t need it. They are often taught that Adderall is a “dirty drug”. I’ve found that the most dangerous prescription drugs are not even scheduled as controlled substances. Both Prozac and Cymbalta screwed me up pretty bad and neither one of them are controlled substances. It’s really backwards that patients taking certain medications are stereotyped as drug addicts when they seek medical treatment for unrelated conditions. Those that choose to abuse and divert prescription medications make it more difficult for people who need medications to get them.

    I think also a common misconception with taking adderall is that it makes you smarter, this couldnt be further from the truth. Adderall MAY give you more energy and better mood to finish tasks however the extreme focus has you miss subtle details that you wouldnt if you were calmer. After taking adderall for a good 4 years straight i can tell you it takes 4 years to after getting off it to deal with the psychological dependence.

      nawls one update: I started out this semester taking my own “dosage” (1 60 a week spread out as needed) but stopped after a few weeks for no reason at all. I haven’t used since the beginning of this semester. I’m still maintaining my grades. The only thing is being able to have that energy and motivation to study. Cuz I have 2 jobs and I workout to keep myself healthy. So that takes away from my energy/motivation. I still don’t feel a dependence. And I don’t want to bring this up to my doctor or family because I view it as a means to an end (essentially just to help me for college) and I’ve never recognized a possibility to abuse it even tho that’s kinda what I’m doing. For future should I take a high dosage less or take more of a lower dosage per week or 2 weeks or keep it kinda how I was doing?
      And appreciate the advice!!!!

    When it comes to drugs I have a fairly good resistance to addiction, this I believe is a genetic thing. As I've seen some people are more susceptible to addiction than others. I have ADD and prescribed 15mg per day for the last 5 years. Most of the time I take 2.5 mg of Adderall per day and that works most of the time. I've noticed people prescribed 60mg per day and I do not know how they are alive because when I take even just 20mg I feel like I'm about to have a heart attack. If I could focus better off adderall instead of daydreaming so bad i would probably stop taking it. Another reason to stop taking it is because the side effects...lack of appetite, difficulty falling asleep, and erectile dysfunction. Headaches and crashing are not much of a problem for me because of my low dosage.

    its hard to say... everyones different in their own ways. It is pretty much impossible to just say adderall is right or not for an individual. I dealt with issues for 22 years before I got my script... I tried to deal with my issues naturally but I never got better and reached my breaking point. Now that Im actually taking adderall I wish I had done it much sooner - I was never diagnosed growing up because I have ADD, not ADHD - nobody thinks there are issues with the quiet kids who stay in their head all day. Anyways, if you have real issues in life and feel adderall may be for you, go to a doctor and just talk to them.. see what options are available, it could work well for you.

    One of the genes associated with ADHD codes for an enzyme that breaks down dopamine. People with this gene will find it more difficult to get high from dopaminergic stimulants than the general population. Amphetamine inhibits the re-uptake of dopamine, and also acts as a dopamine releasing agent. Methylphenidate on the other hand is not a dopamine releasing agent, but inhibits the re-uptake of that neurotransmitter from the synaptic cleft. So if a person with ADHD is known to have a gene variant that causes dopamine breakdown at an accelerated rate, it makes sense to treat that condition with drugs that increase the concentration and/or duration. Before I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, many years ago, I was offered methamphetamine. I was an adolescent and didn't realize or care about the apparent dangers, and I smoked it. It did absolutely nothing to me in terms of making me high, and I slept a full night afterward. Over a decade later, after being diagnosed as an adult, I take methylphenidate. It doesn't get me high, but boy has my life improved. My self control issues are all but gone. I went from getting into verbal and physical altercations on nearly a daily basis, to having had one in 18 months. My grades went from B average to A average, and I scored top of my class in one of my post grad university papers on cellular & molecular biology. The stigma that comes with being prescribed these drugs, both from law enforcement, politicians, and certain undereducated non-specialist doctors and pharmacists, is now the most difficult part of living with ADHD, for me. I don't drink, I don't smoke. I see the huge amounts of crime and suffering caused by the sale of alcohol and tobacco. I've never once been abused, assaulted, or had to look at a person urinating in public, due to them being on amphetamine or any other stimulant. But I can't go out on a Friday night without experiencing all of the above from drunks.

      Like it was mentioned previously, it's probably the dosage that is too high for your body right now. I started with 10mg and felt like it helped. Then a week after, got to 20mg. First day was shocking to me. Felt tweaky. But on the second day of 20mg, I got more stable. And by the third all the way to the end of the week I was doing better than even before and with stability. Currently on 3rd week with 25mg. Seems to be more consistent than 20mg, which on the first day I thought was WAYYY too much for me. For any professional advice, contact your doctor. Be safe brotha and remember to do your best to sleep well (go to sleep and wake up at the right time) and eat well (3 BALANCED meals a day).

    • @Em0killer13
      @Em0killer13 6 лет назад +3

      No. When you get started taking adderall, you go by incremental dosage increase to see which one works best. For someone who never took adderall, being prescribed any dosage is a blind guess. Was on 30 for a week, but it wasn't giving me the benefits I needed so I went back down to 25. Also, dependency can be either physical or psychological. I can function just as I did before without it and feel no need to rely on it for anything but improve in some areas where I can be lackluster. I guess why that would lead you to bring up dependency wouldn't be for any other reason than not knowing what it meant.

    It’s weird, because I was indefinitely diagnosed with adhd countless times! I was percscribed adderall when I was 8 so I don’t remember how it affected me back when I was actually prescribed it, but my mom has narcolepsy and is still prescribed it, and one of her pills, only 10mg, will make me cracked out, not able to sit still, sweat, grind my teeth, my pupils become huge, listening to music on it is super euphoric, can’t sleep for 15 hours, can’t sit still, jump up and down, and am super social and talk at 100 miles a minute on it lol, when I hear that happens to people who don’t have adhd, and people who do take it with adhd it’s supposed to chill them out, and I do indeed have adhd and it does the opposite as I just said, am I the only one that small dosages crack them out even while having adhd?

    It is just speed which was legalized by big pharma. It does not matter whether you have a legitimate need for the drug or not, the side effects are the same. I am more interested in the pharmacological use of LSD in micro doses. Just wondering if it will help those with ADD. LSD does not have the addictive properties of the dopamine releasing drugs which may be why no one has any interest in legalization even if sponsored by big pharma.

      Sight Beyond Sight lsd is a serotonergic drug and serotonin has almost nothing to do with ADHD. Yes it may alleviate the depression and anxiety caused by ADHD but it won't alleviate the focusing problems. Amphetamines like adderall are prescribed for ADHD because ADHD is caused by faulty dopamine receptors or low dopamine, amphetamine pumps dopamine into the synapses, practically flooding your brain with dopamine. Yes it does feel like speed, it is probably bad for you in the long term, but the level of focus it gives you is almost superhuman. It does it what it's intended for, alleviate the inability to focus. That's why amphetamine is usually a last resort ADHD drug, most insurances will not pay for adderall if it's prescribed before safer drugs. It may be dangerous, but it does its job better than any other drug out there

      Sight Beyond Sight lol they're similar but the metabolize in much different ways. Meth, for instance takes 8 seconds whilst Vyvanse (similar to Adderall) takes about 12 hours to metabolize. it's not nearly as hard on the dopamine supplies and receptors.

    • @DingDongDaddyFromDumas
      @DingDongDaddyFromDumas 6 лет назад +1

      Zane Huseth Vyvanse (lisdexamphetamine) is not a psychoactive drug on it's own. Your liver has to remove an amino acid from the molecule to convert it into dextroamphetamine before you'll get any affects.
      Meth is already a psychoactive drug to begin with; It doesn't need to be metabolized for the effects to occur.
      But where the hell did you get 8 seconds? It takes 30-60 minutes to take effect. Vyvanse takes 45-120.
      In terms of duration, those two drugs last pretty much the same amount of time when you compare equivalent doses.
      Also, amphetamine is notably harder on the brain and body than methamphetamine. It may seem counter-intuitive, but that's the reality of it.
      If you stick to oral dosing, meth is a softer drug than adderall.

    When adderall is prescribed to people to take for a long period of time its not guaranteed that that person actually has ADHD. Also, ADHD is a spectrum, so it works differently for everyone who has it, and the symptoms exist in most people to an extent. I honestly dont see how a few times use adderall is worse than someone who takes that dose for a very long period of time. I think that people, some of who are doctors, are super against recreational use of adderall because they want to think their right and they were taught that by big pharma because that is what sells these drugs and publishes the studies.

  • @TheEffectoss

    Well it is a amphetamine so stimulant like hyper effects and focus will be felt if used. However in this video I think they romantisize the medicinal use of adderall. According to most perscriptions, it should be consumed daily to treat some effects of ADD for example. But taking a drug every day alters your brain to adapt to the drug and it changes the brain chemistry so that you function more normally when the drug is consumed. This means when you DON'T take the drug you will feel negative effects because your brain chemistry has changed. This is a big factor to addiction. So don't view it as a medicine that your doctor gave you therefore it is 100% safe, and use it with caution.
    As for recreationally, in my opinion try only if you know you have good self dicipline and that you don't have addictive properties.
    BUT ALWAYS TEST YOUR SUBSTANCES AND DON'T USE THEM TO COOP WITH ANYTHING!
    Have a good day!

    • @FliteWulf
      @FliteWulf 6 лет назад +2

      Strive Simme That’s true, you shouldn’t view any kind of medication as 100% safe, because there’s no such things as a 100% safe drug. However, if you really need it, the benefits can greatly outweigh the costs.
      And correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Adderall not a medication that you’re likely to have strong withdrawal symptoms from, unless you’ve been abusing it? I’ve been taking it (prescribed) on and off for years now and I’ve never encountered any adverse effects from suddenly stopping the medication for awhile.

    I have ADHD and was using 20 mg ER in the morning and a 10 mg SR in the afternoon every day for the past 7 years. Then there was a shortage of the ER at my pharmacy and I wasn’t able to get any more for an extended period of time. My head hurt and I had brain fog because I needed it. At that moment I decided to stop taking both. Best decision I’ve ever made.

    Sleep, and diet are so important when taking Adderall. Little things like having a protein drink when I take it to help it absorb and work more efficiently, making sure my sleep is regular, staying hydrated, taking CoQ10 to help with side effects on the heart.
    It all plays a huge part in how effective it will be. I had increase focus before but doing those extra things made it even better tbh.

    During my Amfexa (UK adderall) abuse - one day I figured
    Ok this medication makes me feel clarity in a usually scattered mind and focus
    I took 1 last pill, journaled and wrote for 3 hours: laying out my thoughts, emotions, debate myself on the sustainability and consequences of my actions:
    Haven’t abused since
    Basically used the focus on adderall to figure out why I shouldn’t abuse it ever
    Edit: just want to point out, for ADHD - adderall does not get you high at all. The “high” comes from the fact that for once in our lives we feel on par with our friends, families, co workers: you feel NORMAL. That in itself is the high, not the dopamine euphoric rush a neurotypical would get like sniffing coke or taking psychedelic levels of caffeine

    my ex was was 27 and had been on adderall since she was 16 and she would literally stay awake for 3 days straight then not leave the bed for another few days when her body was exhausted. obviously this took a major toll on our relationship as she absolutely couldn't have a job. i deeply cared for her but she made it very clear she would never try to get off of it so i couldn't live like that anymore. its very sad that she was prescribed this in the first place. an even bigger tragedy is her parents never intervened when she obviously had a problem with abuse. she got kicked out of nursing school in the middle of her last semester because they said she lost too much weight and were worried about her health.

And I've been off adderall and ritltlen since middle school. which I was 14 years old. And now I'm 19 years old trying to focus in school. I really feel like I'm getting stupid or dumber everyday. Like I can't even finish a full sentence to someone. Without freezing or sounding like I'm talking gibberish after I'm almost done. I think my mind is so fuck up. Like it would take me months to master a simple thing far as academically. While it would take others a week or two. To adjust and master it, without hesitation. I really don't wanna take this. Because if I remember when taking this drug during my whole middle school days. I felt like I was losing massive weight, depression, and always sleepy after school. But I need this. To help me focus. I'm tired of worrying of me not making it threw school and not graduating. And not becoming what I want to pursue in life. It hurts emotionally when thinking failure and giving up is on the corner for me. Life is not looking so good now. But hopefully it will one day. But as of right now I really need this in my life. To help me academically. I can my wait to long and watch my peers walk without me in life while I'm stuck at the bottom. And as right now I should reading two chapters But instead I'm typing a long ass paragraph telling you how I feel 😔☹️

In fact, it’s a mix of Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine salts making it more similar to Meth/crank. I can’t say it’s fun to take recreationally, but it’s very useful to use in situations that require focus such as SATs and standardized testing.

    Are ppl with ADHD really affected differently than those without it? I was "diagnosed" with ADD but it was based on cognitive tests rather than any sort of chemical or lab result. I probably could have been prescribed adderal but I find it curious that these negative side effects will only harm people without ADD and people who suffer from ADD are safe to take adderal. Can someone explain this to me?

    • @sarahborofsky9878
      @sarahborofsky9878 7 лет назад +2

      jason hik unfortunately there is no lab result which can prove this disorder ... it took me quite a while to get diagnosed and switching between medications to get the right one for ADD. Although I cannot explain scientifically why adderall works for my brain, I can say it best this way .... My best friend agreed to take one at the same as me who believed she had ADD. She experienced heightened everything along with paranoia ... I felt calm and finally was able to not be annoyed by the damn clock ... to make my point , there is a huge chemical difference between people who truly need stimulant drugs and ones who use it for a fun effect

When my meds start to wear off, I start craving caffeine again. I think this is a reaction based on the small dopamine reward from caffeine. I used to drink soda pop right before bed because it would calm me just enough to fall asleep. The Doctor and I are still trying to figure out what medication fits me. Fortunately my Doc has ADHD and understands and has dedicated her self to helping others with ADHD.
