Loved the video. Out of curiosity, have you had your hands on the latest ATA pro 12? If so would love to know your thoughts or if not would love to see you review one…… at Cocketts of course 😂 The pro 12 seems to be flying of the shelves since release and I’m struggling to find any in stock.
Would you say the 300 extra is worth it to go for the ata pro 12 I’ve the sp black ?

Yildiz pro grade one better than any ATA in finish and quality for the money.

It is a good rifle.
The right pronunciation is A-ta, not A-t-a. Ata means ancestor or forefather in Turkish.
You should also check other good quality Turkish rifle manufacturers like Huglu (especially prestige series) and Akus.

Excellent review again Ed. I have the SP, none adjustable in nickel. I also bought the ATA Pro 12 from you. Went to Cockett farm this afternoon. I'm absolutely delighted with both guns. It's just a shame about the shooter. I'm rubbish! Perhaps fishing is my thing.😁
We have 4 ata black sporters as club guns, really good, only issues I’ve found is the black finish is easy to come off if knocked.

I have the sp nickel they are great guns, I have put thousands of cartridges throw mine and it's still like new
Top Firing pin went in mine in under 2000 shots other than that loved it
I wish soooo much we could get these in the USA. All we can get is their tactical stuff.

@@jameseray1979 yes they are, different stock dimensions, other than that what is different besides the finish being gloss???
@fullchoke01 from what I've watched.... the internals. The lock ups are more cleaner, more refined. The only real similarity I can see is the way the monoblock is made. They are similar. But not the same gun. Not to mention they are made by totally different companies. Oh, one other similarity, they are both made in turkey.
@fullchoke01 if you Google it. They say that the orian is made by ata. But the videos and pictures I've seen. Say different companies. Sorry, if I'm wrong. But I'm just going off of what I've seen. Never held an ata in my hands. As I bet a lot of Americans haven't either. but even so, the craftsmanship on the ata. Looks 10 times better than the weatherby.
