This is really the hardest, most frustrating thing to practise i tried in a long time. But it sounds so cool when you play it. in a few weeks i hope it is already a little better..

Super !!! lesson Christiaan my favourite sound to come out of America ! Jazz blues ! Stomping backing track btw. To speak Gypsy is I think is out of reach.. love the rhythm though. but to speak blues that's jazzy just maybe ? I can make it talk if you know what I mean ? love it ! Ta !

I think Stochelo Rosenberg uses the blues in an excellent way. His blues lines weave in and out of certain tunes in beautiful way. Jimmy Rosenberg also. The way they mix these lines with their Minor lines and runs, ties the lines together in way that regular Jazz players from the BE BOP style never did, and it sounds great. I like playing a blues run, then a diminished run into a minor. Thx for this video.

Great lesson, thanks a lot. By the way, your tone sounds much better than the previous bebop lessons. This mellow tone suits better the genre when you play bebop.

Yeah, it's because now there's a dynamic mic pointed at the amp instead of a condenser. It's warmer and more mellow.
