John McGeoch makes some amazingly practical use of those right-hand controls on Voodoo Dolly with Siouxsie and the Banshees
Try the Rate and Depth controls in the frequency modulation section on delays of 75 ms or less. That is how you control the sweep & depth of flange & chorus - it is useless on delays.
I know this is an older video, but it's unfortunate that you didn't know how to use the modulation controls on the right hand side. Think of it like adding a chorus pedal just to your repeats. I've always found with modulated delays like this one and the Memory Man that they sound best with the rate set fairly high and the depth somewhat lower. My friend has one of these, and they are incredibly sweet units.
You can trim it inside and have around 2sek delay, but getting more noise with the extrem settings
WOW ! THANKS A LOT ! You did a GREAT intro. I got mine at an electronics jumble for about 10 Pounds. Plan to use it with my MOOG ETHERWAVE PLUS driving my MARSHALL C5. PLEASE do some more LOOK-SEE revs on oooooooold gear.
It's out of tune cause it might have been bumped. I opened mine up and gone through each bias as I also gone from left to right and right to left listing for a balance delay on milliseconds button. Must have left speaker and right speaker to listen for balance in delay when doing this.
I have one of these. But the two longest delay buttons of the 5 don’t work. Anybody ever have any knowledge of how to fix this. ? An Internet search seemed that other people had the same problem. But no solutions.I think it might be some capacitors. But I’m no electronics guy. I prodded around in the switches seem to work.

I used to own one of this units back in 1984 I gess,It can do dalays,chorus flanger ,vibratos and some other delay with modulation as well.
Can you demo it's self oscillation?
you did not show us what it can do . .. nothing is weird about it. you have the manual . those old manuals are usually amazing and even have schematics .
