Maaan, my bottle is great performer. I get easily 8 hours of longevity with strong sillage for about 3-4 hours, then it settles down, but it becomes a skin scent 6-7 hours in the drydown. Overall i found it to be a very complex scent, which i cant really appreciate, still. I’m keeping it for official occasions, dressed up at least with nice white shirt.
Cheers Steven, I got The Lions and Horse heads edp version,I gotta say they are excellent for the money, longevity on skin is average at best but I spray on clothes as well and it does help on keeping them around a bit longer. The newer bottles heads are not etched into the glass just printed on I believe so not as impressive sadly, can’t speak to the juice ,probably the same for sure 👊💪🤛
I always got decent performance with my edp. Ended up getting the edts of both Boucheron Homme and Jaipur Homme in addition to the edps since both are worth it imo, but here the edp is just better. Love the scent, but it does change with the temperature. The colder it gets, the more the cedar and vanilla come through.
I cover Encre Noir Sport in episode 257. In a nutshell, nice grapefruit and woody scent. But I got poor longevity. Overall I felt it was overrated. Not bad, but not so great either.
Equus isn't nearly as strong as Lalique pour Homme. This is much stronger than Equus although my pour homme bottle is older. To be fair, I think it's both a masterpiece AND an old man smelling fragrance cuz it smells a bit older than the kids are used to today. I get a lot of woods in this one.
I owned the EDP version a few years ago and ended up giving it away due to poor performance. I’d spray it on me and within an hour or so it was a skin scent so don’t expect much more longevity/projection/sillage than what you got from the EDT.
GREAT PERFECT STRONG MASTERPIECE,,,I BOUGHT 4 BOTTLES

It's a really nice scent. But this is the 2nd bottle I got with weak performance. I do have another bottle with better performance.

I want to try the Equuis as well, the horse version. Let's see what I find here in Japan.

I'll grab an edp if I see it for $20 or less.
I'd like to hear your take on encre noire. In the beginning I can't say I liked it, but nowadays it's one of my faves.

I do like this one, but man do I wish it was a little bit stronger for me. Can't beat the price!

Thanks for the note on the EDP. I'll still give it a try if I see it for $20 or less.
This is a very nice old school fragrance. The performance is way below average.
You're not kidding!
