What I love about this one is the citrus-floral-calone combo that was so ubiquitous in 90s freshies. Basically 50-50 with the vetiver so there's a great balance. But it's definitely on the weak side like you said. For me, it's all about the nostalgia. 💚
Well, for me the sport version is the weakest of all the flankers. I have the same issue with the performance. A blast of citruses on the top, good projection for half an hour and then it becomes a skin scent. The OG should be called extreme for me. It’s very challenging, sharp and not really pleasant for me at least. I can appreciate that is different from the all of the designers but I hardly find occasion to wear it. But man, the a’l extreme version is something different. For me it’s very deep, warm, addictive and easier to wear. Beautiful with white shirt, definitely more of a dressed up fragrance. The performance on my skin is GREAT. I get around of 10 hours of longevity with loud projection for the first 2-3 hours, then it settles down. Definitely a must try.
@ it may be the batch code on my a’l extreme bottle (i hope it’s not the case), but is excellent performer. Actually this conversation makes me want to wear the og today 😁. Really enjoying your content, keep it going. Best regards 😊
I have Encre Noir and recently bought the l’Extreme flanker too. The OG is a Vetiver bomb and performs well but I find the l’Extreme to be a weak performer.
@ I have heard that Lalique products tend to need some ‘maceration’ time, so I will give my bottle some time to develop. If it doesn’t, then there’s no point having it - I’d rather wear the OG.

I really enjoy that one. It gives me a dense green forest vibe, in a rainy day. Wet, refreshing, woody, earthy and somewhat mossy.

Smells nice, but doesn't do anything special for me.
My favorite for rainy Texas days
It smells great, but doesn't last for me.
Cheers Steven, a great line for sure , worth the low price point ticks all vetiver lovers Boxes 📦 in one way or another.🤛👊💪
@@brenlynch4811 I've only tried this one so far. I have much to learn.

@@michaelstoev5929 Mixed reviews on the L'Extreme. The original I still want to try. I like strange and challenging stuff.

@proodscot Of the L'Extreme is weak, there's no point for me to own it.

the original is the best, imo
@@algirdongas1 Someday I'll try that.
Just keep it in safe for ten years, and it will smell richer
@@LostScented You're probably right. 20 years.
Yes, to weak
