- This is the only vanilla cupcakes recipe you will need. The texture is light, fluffy, and melt-in-your-mouth good. These cupcakes are super easy to make. We love these with our Cupcake Frosting.

155g Plain flour
7.1g Baking powder
1/2 Teaspoon salt
110g Unsalted butter
150g Sugar
2 large eggs
2tsp Vanilla essence
120ml Buttermilk

I tried so many recipes of cupcakes, I didn't really like it, so I gave up on them, but recently my little daughter asked for a cupcakes, so Natasha's video came up and I gave myself another chance. People!!! You won't believe! They turn out SO DELICIOUS! I add only 1 cup of icing sugar to the frosting and it was still sweet enough to my taste. I can't express how delicious they are, better than a cake!!! If you are looking for a good recipe, stop here, I don't think you can find better one .

I’ve made these, they’re delicious. It’s very hard to find a good scratch vanilla cake recipe but this is my go-to
If you don’t have buttermilk you can just add a bit less than half a cup of milk with about a teaspoon of lemon juice, mix and let it sit for 5 minutes... Viòla!

The recipe, from the cupcake batter to the cupcake frosting was absolutely easy and delicious! I’ve made it twice now and the only adjustment I made, because I’m not a fan of super sweet frosting, is add 1 1/2 cup of powdered sugar instead of 2 cups like the recipe asks.🙂

I made these cupcakes with the whipped frosting and it was absolutely delicious!! I frosted half the cupcakes with the whipped frosting and the other half I frosted with raspberry buttercream frosting😋
They came out amazing! As a special treat though, I added some M&Ms while pouring the batter into the moulds. Safe to say, everyone enjoyed it😁!

I just made mine and the batter was so fluffy, the result was so good and so soft. It came out exactly as she said for 12 cupcakes. I added a bit of mixed berries too.

I made cupcakes for the first time and they came out so so good. They were light and buttery and literally melting in our mouth. I put chocochips in half of the cupcakes and they tasted so so good.
I also used normal milk instead of buttermilk and the cupcakes turned out just fine.

I’m trying this right now. They are in the oven and honestly, I’m so exited. It was very lumpy as I ran out of baking powder so I replaced it with self raising flour and then I replaced buttermilk with normal milk. I whipped it for 3 mins, stopped whipped it for an additional 7 mins and then microwaved it and whipped it again for 3 more mins. It started turning very smooth without any lumps. I’m thankful for the result as I don’t have to throw it out.

I made these and they were absolutely delicious! I do recommend chilling the frosting a little before trying to pipe since it's very fragile. Best cupcakes ever!

Its technically not buttercream but a double frosting into one. One is the cream cheese the other is the heavy cream so its to in one frosting. Lmao

I made these yesterday! I liked that the frosting wasn't too sweet. The frosting did come out a little thin though (but It's winter here in Australia and I had my heating on, so that may be why?).
Overall, they were delicious. I ate them with some hot English breakfast tea! I think this will be my go-to vanilla cupcake recipe from now on. I'd like to try it with some of Natasha's other frosting recipes too :)
