Tan Xuan and Elton Tsang are monsters. Their plays and will to win are insane. First time I'm seeing some players that's actually dominating Tom Dwan and the table. Very impressive.

The days of Tom Dwan winning and monstering tables ended a decade ago. His style of play used to work. Now everyone else is so much better and more aggressive that Dwan is just an average player waiting for good cards in good position. The Asian players now have the money. Just a reflection of who is dominating the 21st century.
i will agree that dwan plays alot tighter now which phil hellmuth correctly predicted but he was pretty card dead here i dont think he got owned at all in this game.

This can be applied to casino games and especially here in Poker and especially with the Asians who have virtually unlimited bankrolls. That's his biggest mistake.. Everyone at that table can buy and sell him 10x over. The Asians can just keep coming back and back - and back. Win a few sessions against them? Doesn't matter.. Plus, when he started over there, they were bad players. They learned quickly. That is no longer the case.

@@ep477 I feel like hollywooding too much is indeed annoying but tanking and thinking before you make a big decision IS a key aspect of poker. Having time chips at the table and being able to take your time to think about what your opponent could have, allows players to make informed decisions which I think is very important to the game because that is what separates the good players and the bad. I agree that it's extremely annoying when players at the table constantly tank for ages, but I sympathise with their reasons in doing so.

I would love to see a more mixed up table with some other us and european players like Antonius, Koon, Ivey, Benyamine (btw what is he doin right now?) etc again. Like in the first Triton Cashgames. I love the chinese players and i really miss Rui Cao, but its a bit weird that they ve played in London and theres just Dwan and the Boys. But ok...i wouldnt want to play against Elton and Tan Xuan either. Espacially when you re sitting between both of them^^ Or like Phil Laak would say...both are the new sickest ones.
The stakes they were playing were too high and they only bought in for 100bb and it was confounded with players straddling and putting in antes pre. Bit surprised by the makeup of the table myself. Given there is plenty of rich people in and around London who can afford to take part in such a game.

Can anyone tell me what Tom says to Wang on the 45 hand? It makes him laugh.. at first I thought he said “how much” but after listening a couple times I’m assuming it’s a mandarin phrase... any help?
can someone please kindly enlighten me how could elton confidently open shove a Q103 board with jacks when his opponent called a huge 4bet pf? Tan's range looks very much like combo of broadway cards which contain a lot of Q, pocket 10s, maybe 9s and 8s, plus some slow-played aces and kings trying to trap. pocket 9s or below will fold , any broadway card without a queen but with flush draw are probably ahead of jacks. I really can't think of many other hand other than A10 and maybe K10s or KJ that can call his shove that jacks are very ahead of.
He only had about a pot size bet left. If Tan had AK or QQ+ he likely goes all in pre rather than just call. So chances are he is beat only if Tan has exactly AQ or pocket 10s. If he checks he will almost always face a bet and if not will give a free card. By showing he keeps betting lead and takes guessing out of equation.
