What I learned from this cross examination is that Amber dislikes people who challenge her authority. I have never seen a “victim” who speaks the way she does. Sure, a “victim” will get frustrated with this line of questioning but they wouldn’t respond is such a condescending, rude, evasive and argumentative way.
Rather than a victim, she looks more like a criminal desperate to keep her web of lies.
Camille did a great job by going on the offensive to get her to show her true colors.
Amber is used to shutting people down by being louder, combative, argumentative. If it was another setting she would have smacked Camille
It’s called narcissism ! Malignant Narcissism. People with this disease actually believe that they are always right and everyone else is wrong and responsible for all her heartache. I saw a video with lawyers saying that there is a big problem when in a trial like this that she never took responsibility for anything. She says she hit him, but it was because of something he did to her. She cannot accept any accountability. It’s not hard to understand why she has very few friends. Over time these friends become exhausted being around her. They have to work really hard to be her friend and eventually they bail. Regarding her poor sister, she’s a victim of Ambers disease. She goes back and forth with Amber trying to listen as best she can, and then ends up being manipulated like she was on the stand. How many Times do you think Amber and Whitney rehearsed their testimony? A long long time. Amber wanted Whitney to explain what happened on the stairs even if it was all lies. I truly believe that Whitney knew that Amber was at fault but she couldn’t go against her for fear of retaliation. Whitney is a better sister than I would be, I would tell her I was going to tell the truth no matter what! If you got a problem with it, find a new sister!
I just wish wish wish when Camille said I thought you told us you didn't know how to leak things and her response was I don't, why didn't Camille say how would you leak it then. That would've been awesome. I get it, less is more and Camille got out of her what she wanted but it still would've been great to see and hear her get out of that question

Anyone else notice when she's interrupted when she "cries", that her face immediately changes from pained to neutral. And throughout the attorneys being at the bench, she suddenly begins to flex her nose and hop in her seat as if she'd just been sobbing HARD, which doesn't match what she was doing prior. Like when people actually cry, those movements are involuntary and happen with every breath and swallow, and most importantly occur DURING the crying.
She's been studying how to cry it looks like, but still can't pull it off. She's even smiling BIG during her last dig at Johnny while "crying".
It's incredible how fast she changes from "crying" to what looks like genuine anger and disgust at Camille Vasquez starting her cross.

I wonder why they even bothered calling her to testify again. I know it's standard practice in these trials to have the alleged witness testify one more time at the very end but it's such a risky move considering just how AWFUL Amber is on the stand. AH actually had a couple good witnesses testify and lots of bad ones but AH, herself, was by far the worst witness in her own case. Literally no other witness discredits her case more than herself. Either AH demanded to testify again and/or the legal team didnt give AF anymore since they the case was over a while ago.

I‘m not on her side in any way but it is important to remember that everyone deals with trauma differently. It is NOT uncommon for survivors of trauma not to cry when they tell their story. I have seen no one who held it against Johnny that he didn’t cry - and we shouldn’t do that as that is not an indicator of deceit. What is conspicuous to me tho is that she acts/ speaks like she is crying but no tears are coming out.
Same for me talking about any trauma, floods of tears, and I can't keep talking at times. I need to stop and gather myself. She is making a mockery of all survivors. It's sickening. That said, nobody should be sending death threats to her or anyone. Harassment doesn't help anything.

As a DV SA survivor she makes me feel Ill. What a mockery to everything people who have gone through the real thing have endured. The only good coming out of this is her horrible acting and true face is being seen and her own recordings show her as the real abuser.
Yes, it's a mockery to all trauma survivors. Her script is not consistent with how any of us talk about ourselves. It seems to me like a script she's cobbled together based on other people's experiences because it all has such an outsider sound to it, the way she talks about triggers and meltdowns. Most of us aren't really that sure or confident in what is going on and why and the way we talk about it is just trying to make sense of it and there's far more uncertainty, shame, grief. The way she repeats words and phrases eg "I have to live with the trauma", "unspoken rules" really makes me think she's learned lines. If she is appropriating survivor stories as it seems she is, then that is just utterly, utterly abhorrent and unforgivable.
Also - if she's going around raw and easily triggered, we would see that on the stand when she's under cross-examination. Surely that would be triggering? But she's calm, confident and argumentative.
