      😂 Fair enough dude!
      I actually put Seymour Duncan Nazgul in the bridge and it made a good difference on the pick attack, so overall I'm pleased with it.

    I actually started learning guitar recently and I have the problem that my hands are MASSIVE!! Being 6ft 6 I just got used to ducking through doors, shops never having my size shoe and going through girlfriend's like socks (although I finally found a girl more compatible with me and we've been together over 4 years now) but now that I'm playing an instrument it's a problem. I don't know whether potentially playing a 7 or 8 string could fix this problem?? Or is 9 stings a thing?? I've never actually held anything bigger than a 6 string but your video just made me think maybe something with a wider neck?? 🤔

    • @ChugDealer
      @ChugDealer  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for watching!
      I see what you mean, but I haven't played an 8 or 9 string, so I couldn't say whether that would help or not.
      However, I played a Gibson Les Paul (Zakk Wylde model) and the neck was pretty damn big, and Zakk is a big dude, so maybe something like that would help.
      Your best bet is probably to go to a guitar shop and try out as many as you can to find out which neck profile fits you the best, and hopefully you'll be able to play comfortably in future.
      Best of luck with the search - it's all part of the fun, and good luck with learning. Keep at it man. It's easy to give up, but one day, something will click and it'll all fall into place. After that, you'll be dragged into the guitar and effects rabbit hole haha 😁👍

      @@ChugDealer Thanks for the reply and words of encouragement!! I can play a 6 string but not without getting bad hand cramps and pain after awhile from having to sort of scrunch my hand up to be able the play. I'm not letting it deter me though man. I've only been playing like 3 months but I've been trying to learn from RUclips and I don't want to form bad habits so I'm thinking about just biting the bullet and getting lessons. I have really bad anxiety and I'm so socially awkward that it's unreal so I was hoping to do it without having to go to lessons but I don't wanna mess this up and wanna get the most of of this. I've already been doing a load of digging into music theory and guitar techniques so hopefully I'll have a better understanding of the instrument I love to much going into lessons. Thanks again.

      @@SchecterIsKING I've heard that a YT channel called JustinGuitar is really good for beginners, so might be worth a try for some tips and lessons.
      Private lessons would be even better if you can find someone who is good. There's no need to be nervous about it, because even the teacher was awful at guitar at some point, just like all of us.
      I suffer from terrible anxiety too, and playing guitar is the only thing that takes my mind off it, and it will definitely work for you also. 😁
      Experiment with holding the guitar in different positions. If you have a strap, try wearing it high and it might help the cramps stay away.
      Posture and comfort is important, because if you're in pain, it isn't enjoyable. Everything is worth a try, I reckon.
      Good luck!
