Blended vision uses laser eye surgery to treat one eye for distance vision and the other for close-up distances which is used to treat presbyopia and other age-related eye conditions.
I thought it was interesting my dominant eye changed to my Vivity IOL after my first surgery within a couple of days. Also my remaining cataract eye is nearsighted and I neuroadapted within the first day. No glasses for reading. I will have my second Vivity IOL in a couple of weeks and the doc is planning mini-monovision/blended vision. These new IOLs are amazing.
I'm having trouble finding a dr who will do this, tho I've had natural monovision all my life. I started wearing glasses for distance 10 yrs & distance eye can't be corrected anymore. Drs will do light-adjustable but they are so expensive.
Doc, may i know why you said it's only for age 40 and later? I am 33, had cataract while my refraction is normal (no need flasses for near and far). Had my left eye with panoptix (non dominant). And i want to use vibity (edof lens) for my right dominant eye. Can i do that?

I really wanted to hear about this subject, but the background sound effects were so distracting that I couldn't hear what the doctor was saying.
Darn. Maybe you should look up videos by audiologists, first.
Subtitles can help as well :)
The content was great, the Muzak, however, was demoralizing.
Correct, I hated the music competing with him talking.
Thank you. This was very helpful. I am considering the same, this was explained very well.
Did you get your surgery?
Thank you for breaking this down for me very helpful
Amazing explanation!
Excellent, but we are listening to you not the music...why do we have to listen to it.
