That took me back to my childhood , walking along banks of the river . We would spend so much time outdoors seemed like my second home , loved every minute of it . If there's just one thing to pass on to generations of the future it's the great outdoors , respect it , clean up after ourselves and leave no other footprint then the path we use to arrive at this beautiful destination . what a walk in a city park, a trail like a hyw, hundreds of other people around..
_The forest is glade-green and tannin-brown. The grass is soft under herr feet. We look up and find, the trees are skyscraper tall. We are in awe of the size and majesty of the trees. A vast water reservoir was seen into the background. She picked some berries, herbs, tree gums etc. and tasted them because she is able to detect edible roots, fruits, berries, flowers, gums, and leaves. Though she has lost some weight but still looking tall and beautiful._
Vanessa, I admire you as a women and I admire your skills in the bush. Your videos are very good and you give us a feeling of adventure by them. Keep up the good work and may our LORD bless you and watch over you!

The sounds of nature, and true silence, is God "speaking" or not. I try to listen to both.
I remember as an Army Cadet camping out in the middle of no where with a Poncho as a tent sleeping bag and a bed role in some woods , loved it and I miss it . Now I want to do it again now im older but in the Uk in my area there is Private land all around and its considered trespass . How ever I will find some where and do it , although I snore like a yak with asthma lol …...I guess ill be not very stealthy but im a big lad so im sure it will be okay lol

It looked like a great spot, Vanessa...and very pleasant weather to be in the Great Outdoors.
Watching these videos is giving me itchy feet to get back to my adventuring after Christmas, though given that it's summer time here now, it will be confined to the eastern seaboard, with some surfing and hiking into the coastal rainforests on the days that the surf is blown out. Of course, Oz has a very different landscape and climate.

This was a great film to watch Vanessa. I like to see you foraging as you walk. It's brilliant that you can do that.
Mallee Fowler it would be nice to know what is being foraged and where she is! The sound of wind and airplanes in the background is not exactly that interesting. It is a good video, but lacks bushcraft information.
@@richardberry7470 for heaven's sake mate, this isn't the BBC. I think that for an amateur, Vanessa is a really great advocate for nature and being in tune with her environment. It's really easy to be critical. Can you do better?

I've done that many times, even stayed in Wilderness areas for 10-11 days bow elk hunting with inclement weather (snow, sleet, rain) and nothing but a 10sx10 tarp and a couple of garbage bags spread out to block the wind and sleet. Was never concerned that I would be OK.
