The eclipse is an event after my own heart because the moon will totally be blocking that sun and I can't stand the sun or the heat. I sleep when the sun is out & stay asleep until the moon comes up. Hello Jason, you've changed my mind about moonstone, so thank you for that! I adore the moon, and clearly remember the moment I first saw the man in the moon. My Beloved husband and I went down to the beach to watch out for a comet to appear, and as I looked over to the moon, I suddenly saw the face of the man in the moon! I always thought it was just something people said, like; "The moon is made of cheese", until I saw it. Haha, I was 40 years old then. I'm also Right in the path and went in complete darkness for a few minutes. That was really something!! A radio station was playing Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd and my mother was blasting it. One thing I learned when researching how to record a video is that if you put a diffuser of some sort between the ring light and your subject, then you wouldn’t have the light reflection on the jewelry. To do it inexpensive, they recommended a sheer fabric remnant. I don’t know if that might help?

How fitting, one of my favorite stones by the way👍 I had an interesting experience recently, while attending to the final affairs of a very beloved person in my life I wore one of my favorite pieces, a moonstone crucifix, during the trip I was heartbroken to realize that I had lost one’s of its stones. I battled whether to leave as is or to replace the lost stone then it popped into my head that now I could actually place her birthstone in its place and she would be with me always! 💖🙏

To think that the earth, our moon and sun line up, and the distance that the sun is from the earth, and the distance that the moon is from the earth, is just at the right distance for the moon to block out the sun. I am absolutely dying over the Arts and Craft ring and the modern piece and the scorpions! I shall wear my moonstone ring and necklace tomorrow too, thank you for the idea! One thing I learned when researching how to record a video is that if you put a diffuser of some sort between the ring light and your subject, then you wouldn’t have the light reflection on the jewelry. To do it inexpensive, they recommended a sheer fabric remnant. I don’t know if that might help?

An amazing Moonstone collection Jason! I always loved looking at Moonstones when I was little. A big thank you for sharing your amazing treasures with us. I live in New Zealand. We have some beautiful stones here, especially our Greenstone. Plus some amazing Paua shell (Abalone), which we make into beautiful jewellery. It has incredible blues running through it.

Thanks for the positivity & moonstones my fav! My favorite designer that uses moonstones is Nicky Butler, especially his early 2000’s pieces. The moonstones are always luscious with lots of blue flash. Speaking of flash don’t forget your viewing glasses tomorrow 😎

How fitting, one of my favorite stones by the way👍 I had an interesting experience recently, while attending to the final affairs of a very beloved person in my life I wore one of my favorite pieces, a moonstone crucifix, during the trip I was heartbroken to realize that I had lost one’s of its stones. I battled whether to leave as is or to replace the lost stone then it popped into my head that now I could actually place her birthstone in its place and she would be with me always! 💖🙏

To think that the earth, our moon and sun line up, and the distance that the sun is from the earth, and the distance that the moon is from the earth, is just at the right distance for the moon to block out the sun. And the size of the moon is just right.
