I was born in London and have gradually moved south. I fell in love with Eastbourne and now live here! It was amusing seeing my car parked along the sea front as you walked past. As to the sun - yes, we get a LOT of it. Solar panels on the roof are a must :)
You are in another very beautiful seaside town there in Eastbourne with a awesome view of the sea and a lot of great places in town to see such as the local businesses, stores, cafes, pubs, hotels, arcades, etc everywhere you look is beautiful scenery and nice looking buildings the pier has a really nice view of both the city and the sea another great video tour walk and Eastbourne is an awesome place to explore thank you and have a great week GWTV.👋🇬🇧
Eastbourne is a amazing place for people to enjoy and the hotel are fantastic and beautiful place to stay and the pier is fantastic place to have something to eat and drink and the evening sun thanks Neil
I lived in Eastbourne for about 6 moths in the summer of 94, when aI was 20 years boy.... now im still thinking about that lovely time I spent there and all the people I met at St. Giles College. I remeber my landlords and their children. their house was on Elms street just some foot steps from the pier.
Myself and my girlfriend went in 2019 with the National Holidays coaches from Teesside we stopped at the Bay Hotel majestic and had a day trip into Brighton which was the whole idea , because that was the film location for Quadrophenia (1979 , East Street ) the famous ally way with Leslie ash & phill Daniels Steph & Jimmy 🏴
We live in Bexhill-on-Sea, just a lovely ride along the coast to Eastbourne which we have even done a few times on our mobility scooters. Thanks for your visit vlog, keep up the good work 👍
I've really enjoyed the three videos of an area I spent a lot of my adult life in. Good memories and not so good. I don't think I'd go back for good. All those times have gone now. I loved seeing Hastings again and Rye. Thanks a million Neil 👍👏👏
i live in eastbourne and its got nothing going for it to be honest. the only thing i would say about it though is that the walk to beachy head through the south downs cliff top is amazing. you can see the whole of eastbourne from the top and its very peaceful . but its got a big problem with homelessness and cannabis smokers.
Did I miss the gigantic deck chair underneath by the bandstand? Lovely walk from Eastbourne to Cuckmere Haven and East Dean we made one day. August 2019 was a lot quieter weekend than yours. Love the south coast as much coastal Wales (and old old family hometown) in Llandudno. Cheers!
I really like Eastbourne, it’s peaceful and beautiful. Nice people too. My plan is to travel back there sometime. Btw, The Crown and Anchor is my favourite pub in Eastbourne 😊
Welcome to Eastbourne.... and nearly get run down by an electric scooter 🛴. I went to university in Eastbourne. People in Hastings regard it as rather stuck up and full of self importance. The sea front is nice and it's very small Old Town but the centre isn't particularly interesting. Thanks Neil 👍
Nothing like the town it once was streets full of wronguns and like all other forgotten seaside towns in a state of disrepair and boarded up shops so its no utopia but you had to be here throughout the sixties and seventies to realise those differences come the eighties and its been on a steady decline since
It’s a nice quiet place, good shops, nice sea front hotel. Sadly, for the people involved ( and this is Honestly the truth) the week our coach party was there ,there was a homeless person murdered by another one, just further down the sea front, and 4 bodies retrieved by helicopter and life boats ( on three different call outs) from the bottom of the near by cliffs. Apparently it is a well known place for such tragic events.
Is born is a nice place bein few times stayed at a few hotels over the years and the last one was back in may bank holiday weekend from 25 may for one night stay
We score Eastbourne 9 out of 10 thank you for video .

Charles Aznavour and Jimmy Hendrix both lived in Eastbourne for a short time during the early 60's.

Since the foreign package holidays arrived and people chose the sunshine ☀️
Lot more to it than that
@@chosenone8454 Of course but that's the main one!
I went there for a family holiday in 1974. I was 13. Nice memories of a pleasant stay. Soon be dead
All the sand has blown away and left pile of pebbles..

I enjoyed this, but why the music?
Because there was music pumping out from the bandstand that I couldn’t use
@@GimbalWalkTV Ok , thank you.
here directed the 1993 hercule poirot the jewel robbery at the grand metropolitan
a pity you put music under the video
Didn't have a choice - there was a huge concert on the beach blasting out copyright house music
That pier is like Dell Boy owns it.. tacky!!!!!!!
