When I pledged, we had a big sister who ran things. This past fall, I went back to my college for homecoming. I was so surprised that after 30 years,I saw many of my sorority sisters still behaving like it was still 1986. These grown women looked as if they were walking in line, followed her around, and even sat where she told them to sit. It amazed that these 50-something women hadn't matured past the Greek letters we once wore with pride. I forbid my children from becoming part of any Greek organization. After all, how can someone spend 6 to 8 weeks being mentally, emotionally, and in some cases physically abused. Then you turn around and call those abusers your sister/brother. I understand our Greek organization contributions to the community and the doors to business opportunities that those Greek letters can open. I became a Greek over 28 years ago, I was a child, I understood as a child, but I'm a grown woman and have put away childish things.
I tried to pledge Delta Sigma Theta but couldn't take the abuse. Thank you God for saving me.
I allowed my daughter to make her own decision regarding the Divine 9, but I strongly advised her on my stance AGAINST these organizations. I further advised her to research EVERYTHING ABOUT the sorority she was interested in. She did her research and after watching a few denouncing videos she decided it wasn’t for her and I praised God
You are so much on point about desegregation vs integration. I experienced pretty much the same thing as you. The Civil Rights Bill destroyed our community and we have never recovered.
It destroys lives. Even those who are "successful" live miserable dysfunctional lives. They all cursed
Went to MBC in the early 70’s, pledged after 3 attempts (that should’ve told me something). Have had nothing to do with the sorority since graduation. Could not relate to mis-treatment then we were sisters. I am not African though, I am American. Renounced the sorority when I got saved. B blessed Hopefully someone will realize and understand the truth you are sharing.❤

The spiritual side of joining the Divine 9 is even worse. Greek gods said enough for me because there is no other God but our God. Why would you bring a Greek god into the House of God. They bow down in front of an altar and make a covenant and pledge to a false God.
Preach brother Walter... yeah I myself am considered a contrarian Christian because I don't buy everything that the church has told me. God gave me a mind and a spirit and a heart... I think the world's going to be just like it was and in the first century AD when Jesus Christ came the first time the world going to turn everything upside down ... what-have-you in Judaism, 1a.d., same thing going to happen to Christianity ain't nothing new Under the Sun love you brother

All the people that have watched this video must've not really listened to what was being said and obviously they didn't like what was said or the thumbs up would be a lot more than what it is. I pray for those who don't understand what is being said here. May God show you the truth. Thank you again Sir Walter Jones for enlightening me more on the dangers of placing certain society/groups/organizations/churches on a Pinnacle. Putting God first in all we do is the only way! I think this boils down to "Is CHRIST enough?" ... and then it boils down to, when we consider institutions to do things with, "Am I IN CHRIST enough to do whatever God is directing me to do?" Failing the first leads to idolatry; failing the second leads to volunteer slavery.

There's a huge difference between taking an OATH and making a promise folks. Secondly, read Proverbs 3:31...Envy thou not thy oppressors and choose none of his ways. REVELATIONS 12;3-6, Star fallen to the earth. Ephesians 6:12, Principalities...high places...evil forces...Greeks brand their cattle/ ownership, Dipped into the fire. Sear your skin...Satan has mastered popular culture! Isaiah 3:13-28. Branding is IDOLATRY. Lastly, Pagan Deities, Deuteronomy 6:13, Habbukuk 3:9, Oath Swearing ", Oaths sworn over your arrows[ indicators], Bringing a curse upon yourself. Zephaniah 1: 1-5, Those who worship the hosts of heaven! Lastly, Deuteronomy 6:13 & 14, No other gods before Him." Greek letter Organizations represent the fallen angels, Baal Worshippers, they sacrifice their lives and their children lives by binding themselves to their " oaths "!!!!
About the taxes, I guess Mark 12:17 taught us not to bypass Ceasar's requirements. Nope they need that vacation house and golf membership. They had to make that deal.
Im glad I listened to this Sir Walter thanks. I know some people that I had to step away from over this same topic. You know what's crazy? For close to 10 years I've worked for several different Greek families, I'm talking people that came from GREECE, Ellis Island style. When I asked them what they thought about these so call divine 9 and others, I get the same answers. They are non-affiliated, some think its kinda weird, some are too old to even care. Now, in my opinion, that's weird. And we talk and argue about culture appropriation.

Saying, "I promise you" is the same as swearing an oath...
Saying "I promise you" is not the same as saying "I swear". The Bible speaks against saying "I swear ". Making a promise is similar to making a vow, which is biblical.
Jesus himself couldn't make me go against the brotherhood.
