I believe in IBL, true breeding. Care is needed with this genetic issue, as we may have genetic erosion. The best genetic improvement is accomplished in nature itself and not in indoors cultivation. Of course we can grow indoor for more accurate tests and select some things, however the energy of the sun, the moon, the wind, the exchange of terpenes and mycorrhiza in outdoor cultivation gives us much more medicinal herbs. Over several generations we can obtain dominant and desirable characteristics and try to stabilize to the maximum, but different phenotypes are always interesting to appear. The law of nature is the wisest law!
I can't wait for my new generation of plants to show me what is available for finding keepers but usually any rough smoking ones are perfect hashmaking Cultivars

I have some males along with my females but theyre not making seeds. You think theyre just not compatible? Or the cold weather maybe? cause I have 10 different females and only one is making seeds. 2 different males, tried rubbing them on the females and nothing
Sometimes females dont recieve pollen well. U might have to apply the pollen directly with a paint brush or something and do it everyday for a few weeks.
If I grew up smoking good east coast northern lights and skunk in the late 80's .....how can I find a decent cultivar to start with to keep around as long as I can?

And most personal growers since 1983 have discarded males without even bothering to check for that "one in a million" profile that would have been a gold medal breeder. I would grow boys to maturity to see and bioessay what the kids should be. I was playing with tissue culture in the late 80's but found taking clones much more fun never crossing that 100 plant Federal threshold. Sux for real breeding, like being forced indoors.

F stands for fillial generation. Take 2 unrelated plants and cross them that's called F1. Take 2 F1 and cross them you get an incross of siblings called an F2. You take and F1 and cross it with a parent is called a BX /BC back cross. If you cross 2 F2 you get and F3. 3rd fillial generation. Your just recombining the genes to concentrate traits.
You're not going to be able to stop opioids and switch to weed and magically not get withdrawals and cravings. You're better off taking kratom for 2 weeks whilst throwing weed into the mix. Then after 2 weeks reduce kratom by half then a week later cut kratom out all together.
try cbd & thc mix...like a broad spectrum with both cbd and thc in it. I prefer 1:2 ratio...so 1 thc to 2 cbd. and go heavy...edibles last a lot longer and hit hard...sublingual or under the tongue would be best. *hits 10-20 min under tongue..edible based on body mass, tolerance, metabolism etc...but 30 min -3 hrs...to take affect..but seriously..THC AND CBD EDIBLES....or vapables...WORKS WONDERS...takes away the extreme anxiety ..the hopeless feeling..dont get me wrong ...opiate withdrawl sucks...or fentanyl w/e ..sucks...but it will cut the edge off..especially at higher doses..AND MAKE SURE ITS REAL CBD AND THC...should NOT be cut with any pg or vg..AND NO FAKE TERPS cannabis derived only..100% cannabis. peace and love
