I saw this the very 1st time it was broadcast. Most gut wrenching emotional impact that I ever felt from any Tv or motion picture. Kip Carter was a genius in the way he switched the two Robins.👍

Горбачев тогда съездил в Англию, в Лондон, а премьер-министром Великобритании была "железная леди" , Маргарет Тэтчер. Показывали всю неделю по 1 программе московского ТВ: "Робин Гуда" , и, ещё, "Шоу Бенни Хилла". Помню, как мы,тогда ещё подростки лет 13-14 - ти , летели к телевизору по вечерам после школы, и всей семьёй, буквально, как зачарованные, прилипали взглядами к экрану. В те перест роечные годы, это- был совсем иной мир для нас, детей. Зарубежный. Непонятный.Загадочно- манящий. А англичане, тогда, были для нас почти что, как инопланетяне. Ну, а в Робина, в актёра Майкла Прейда, мы, девчонки, естесственно, влюбились. ❤😊И, когда его убили, я лично ушла к себе в комнату и тихо, тихо плакала... 😢 P. S. Актёр - блондин (позже) как-то, "не зашёл" . Вот, честно. 😅
@@СветланаЮдина-п4яда,легендарная версия,я его в 86-87 смотрел в Казахстане ,да этот Робин был эталоном для нас пацанов в том числе.Мне было 6-7 лет.После сравнивал с версией СССР и США ,конечно Праед ,да и британский состав намного лучше других.Да и сам дух,музыка.Эх детство ❤
Я то же помню как всем двором убегали по домам смотреть этот фильм,а на следующий день уже бегали с деревянными мечами и луками подрожая Робин Гуду.Счастливое детство его не забыть.

Series 3 was smart in the way they had a new Robin/ Robert and used that to explain the conflicting tales of Robin Hood (he was a commoner... no, a noble... Robin of Loxley... no, Robert of Huntingdon...) but I just couldn't stick with it. Jason Connery kind of bugged me and although I understood the reasoning behind it, I disliked Marion falling in love with him, especially so quickly. Michael Praed was and is my favourite Robin of all time. For me, series 2 was the ending. When the Hooded Man came to save the others at the end, I consider that to have been Robin. Either Herne somehow brought him back, or Robin's spirit freed them before moving on to the afterlife. As I recall, he left the show to do Dynasty in the US... which turned out to be a nothing role for him. Imagine leaving the lead role of Robin of Sherwood to be a supporting character in another show for a handful of episodes.

I don't know why Michael was deposed from the main character and that was given to Jason Connery. The whole series might have been excellent if Michael was continued.
