    I have the Oase pressure and it’s been fantastic, however it does leak slightly on the waste pipe. Oase do warn you that this does happen and advise you always to fit the stop cap, unless you fit the isolator as you have. Have you thought about fitting a float switch to shut the pump off? I know you could still get fish deaths, but I guess if you still have air pumping into the pond there’s a chance you won’t lose them all. Just to add you’ve put some great content out, thanks for all the effort.

      Thanks for watching and commenting. Well done for guessing the content of one of my Video's in progress. I've got three Video's on the go and 2 are related to the Grow On tank and the other is a bonus. Thanks and keep watching

    Hi Kev, sorry to hear about your fry, that can't have been nice coming home to that, are you going to get any more fry, I used that filter gel to start my filters and it stank rank, especially when I had to have a smell of it when I took lid off but never again🤢🤮, stay safe.
    Rob.

    hi , just seen video , i have pressure filters myself , on the waste outlet , put a tap inline , these will bypass water all the time , even the oase filtoclear filters , i had the big 75000 ltr pressure filter made by same company , was good , but only problem i found with them is the fines that bypass the sponges is rather alot , think it is the design of how the sponges are fitted to plastic rings , the fines find there way past the plastic rings , i now use the oase filtoclear pressure filters , these are much better , the other pressure filter we used to use was the Fish Mate Powerclenz Pressurised Pond Filters , these were very good filters too ,
    hope you get it all sorted out , sorry for your loss

    I’m intrigued by your setup from bottom drain pipework directly to the pump… have you had any issues doing this? My current setup is bottom drain to a settlement tank with a pump inside the tank. Your way looks way neater.

    Hi. Thanks for great video. I bought used one spinclean 12000 and have a question. Can I check UV and cleaning motor without connecting water hoses or it has some water sensor ? Thank you

      @AKoiEnthusiast  Месяц назад

      Thanks for watching. There isn't a water sensor as such but with the lid on and it connected to the electrics the light should come on and the cleaning motor will work with the knob turned to clean. The motor will turn as normal and won't effect anything but the UV will burn out if left on for a while without the water in there.

      On my set ups I am using 1 x 30,000lph on the Bottom Drain, 1 x 30,000LPH on the Skimmer and 1 x 20,000lph on the Grow on set up. All are running at between 35% and 50% power. All three added together are using less power than just 1 x 10,000 Iph I was running before and I am getting a better flow rate

    Just out of interest why not do away with the pressure filter and just go from the pump straight into the tempest then heater then shower ?

    • @AKoiEnthusiast
      @AKoiEnthusiast  Год назад +1

      Thanks for commenting. The main reasons are 1. for the extra filtration due to the higher than normal temperature and heavy feed rate. 2. A prefilter for the Tempest where the main bits and poop is taken out by the Pressure filter and the Tempest can take out the fines and add the extra bio filtration. With the heavy feeding there is a lot more pooh than normal and the Tempest would be working too hard

    Please just do away with the pressure filters 🙏
