Most atimes, people transgress through speaking or spewing vile to other people. The tongue as small as it is, it has the capacity of destroying or protecting the whole body. The tongue is the window through which people can peep and have access to the inner being as it speaks what abounds the heart. It is a mirror that gives an unadulterated reflection and image of oneself. Like a match-stick it has the capacity to burn the whole forest.
It therefore is critical to be on the lookout of what your tongue says, is it within the confines of the word of God, is it not transgressing God's commands? What should I do to tame my tongue?
