My G when you say our art who you referring to? My uncles was part of that whole movement in the Bronx. I grew up literally in the Mecca of that joint. Spanish, black, white whoever was living poor in the gutter was part of HipHop. It represented struggle when it started. Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, Rakim and KRS-1 all consider Em elite. That’s saying something. Your man crazy with it.
If that doesn't impress you then that's fine but, he has a bunch of songs that have a meaning or message and can tell story's as well. If can't relate to him or just don't like his style that's understandable but, regardless he's a very skilled MC. Not saying em is the best of all time, definitely one of them tho
