Premo gave Royce one of the most fire beats he ever made, also Royce is one of the most underrated MC’s, Book of Ryan is a classic album!
This is P'Rhyme before P'Rhyme was official!
That's like the quintessential Primo beat from the early 00's 😂
Definitely was, you right about that!
Facts 💯
Yezzir still slaps
This and CNN's Invincible 🙌💯🎤💣
ELZhi is another Detroit legend. He recreated illmatic with live instrumentation to recreate the illmatic beats. It’s called Elmatic. He repped it very well.
Check out his feature on the song “Rules of Rap.” Insane bars, wordplay, patterns and cadence.
That shit was fire... Elzhi is sooooooooo underrated..
@@lifeisagambletv 💯💯
The Elmatic release party/concert was an epic night.
@@lifeisagambletveLZhi is best rapper from Detroit
That homage album was incredible!! ElZhi that dude!!
Primo the GOAT
Preemo a beast. Even tho he from Texas, the NY producers in the 90s were on some other sh!t.
Ahmad, you should check out Premier's RUclips show, "So Wassup" (not for reactions, but for your Hip Hop history education). It's a show where in each episode he talks about a song that he made the beat for and gives the history of how the song got made. There is an episode about this specific song in fact.
Guru, and Lady Of Rage scratched into the hook. Preemo the 🐐
Royce had volume... His double time is incredible and his confidence remained electric throughout the whole song, not to mention his chemistry with premier is liquid. That first verse is acc flawless bro its insane
Make sure you also do Royce's "Hip Hop," it's one of the more underrated Royce and Preemo collabs!
Yes, you got the right version bro. Thanks!
royce and premier have two albums under the group "Prhyme" . both albums slap
Facts!
Royce, Primo...say no more! Straight 🔥 every line
Preem and Royce have a heavy catalog together. They dropped about half a dozen hard collab singles back in the 2000s and then 2 full albums together under the PHryme group name. Great chemistry that really evolved over the years
“Hip Hop” is a must listen, King of Kings is a hitter as well
Can't believe you mentioned king of kings. Probably his second best song after this. Classic.
@@djblock215 I just listened to it again for the first time in a while. It’s a goddamn masterpiece
I still think this is one of the greatest hip hop tracks ever made!! Just perfect from beginning to end!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯💯
The slick punchlines, superior flow, and ice-cold delivery coupled with one of Preemo's dopest beats ever make for a post-Golden Age Hip Hop classic. Elzhi's another Detroit spitter you have to check out - and I look forward to some Slum Village reactions. An album reaction to Fantastic Volume 2 is a must.
Dope UNDERATED MC.... lyrical MONSTER
Those Detroit boys, especially from the 90s, they don't play.
The face he made soon as the beat drops, smh... Premier production makes me cry. I can't explain it. Tears just flow.
Peace King. Peace to the Family. Love this joint. Premier blessed this track 💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
Premo is prolly the best producer of all time, those 90s boom bap beats are my favorite
(Slaughterhouse),
"Put some Money on it"
🔥
Royse 5'9, Jadakiss. Styles P, Sheek, J. Ortiz......
Dj premier is the GOAT, his production catalog is unmatched. Also in case you didn’t know together Royce and Premo are a duo called PRhyme, they have 2 albums together, the first one is so fuckin good, 2nd one is good too and the production is off the charts, I assume at some point they will make a PRhyme 3. The first PRhyme deluxe edition got some wild features, MF DOOM, slaughterhouse, black thought, Mac Miller, schoolboy Q, killer mike, common, logic, Joey badass, ab soul,Jay electronica. That deluxe edition is certified loaded with the features and the whole record straight fire, highly recommend checking out some stuff off their, some of Royce’s bars are wild and Premo production is top tier as always
i met royce in person. chill dude. Talked allot of good conversations with him.
I knew you'd go crazy over the beat. Royce is amazing on the mic.
This 1 of his 1st songs he came out with. A lot of us very 1st introduction to him. I know it was mine.
Once I heard this, I Knew he was a problem. FR
Bad Meets Evil with Eminem
Mad respect to see a youngin reacting to this gem! We grew up on this!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾💪🏾💪🏾 imagine when this first hit the scene!! Sadly ppl slept on this! It didn’t get the respect it deserves! 🤦🏾♂️
ROYCE is insane lyrically. the man is a BEASTTTTTTTT
Peace young King. Try and check out the Beatnutz " Watch out Now", " No escaping This", or my personal favorite "Beatnutz Forever "👍🏾
An underrated Premier beat is from Jermaine Dupri's 1st solo album. Check out "Protector's of 1472". The beat is 🔥
Thumbs up just for the reaction bro. One of the most underrated artists. Independant from Em.
Yo this is Justin fam (had to change the avatar and handle to make it harder on the haters 😂).
2 Royce songs I recommended are “Royce is Like (freestyle)” and “Shake This”
If you played gta3, royce did most of the soundtrack
Royce and Preemo!!! Always 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This sounds just like the Nas is Like beat Premo made
This was popping, Premier has a special sound. Check out their album.
Always a blessing to see your reactions
That means a lot ❤️🤝
The two sample chop ups for the hook is Gangstarr you know my steez and lady of rage afro puffs
Straight up classic... appreciate your reactions family...
Layers-Royce, Pusha-T, Rick Ross
Governors Ball- Royce, Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine
Boblo Boat- Royce, J. Cole
Thou Shall-Royce
This and "Hip Hop" are both great Royce/Preemo bangers. I like them better than anything from the PRhyme catalog.
I gotta add Rock It to that list
You can’t talk about Detroit legends without reviewing MC Breed. He put your city on the map during the golden era.
Breed was from flint. Boss was from Detroit though
Speaking of Slum Village you should check out Fuck the Police by Dilla. 🔥🔥🔥
What up King!!
Everybody take a puff or shot whenever young King say he’s moving up my list!! 🤣🤣😂😂
I do say that a lot 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@KingAhmadTV It's all good, bro. Nobody's counting! 😆😆😆 Check out Elzhi and Royce - "Motown 25"! CRAZY BARS! And also Cam'ron's song "Confessions"! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You should watch and react to dj premier vs Rza verzuz. He plays a lot of his most recognized hits in his catalogue, but still leaves out a lot of his hits because he has so many.
I was just playing this yesterday evening.
I hope this the right version though. We don't play the unfinished version bro. IJS. But we will see.
Idk if it’s been mentioned but Royce and Dj Premier formed a group called PRhyme and it’s worth checking out. NY beats with Detroit fire.
One time for the city! Detroit stand up! Whadup doe
The beat's clapping 🔥🔥🔥
" Niggaz say i found god with the flow... bring the police to the studio and bring the bomb squad to the show.........."
I wish i could hear this for the first time again
Still one of my fave Royce joints!!! He also has an unreleased joint called "Heartbeat" where he's spittin' over a Kanye beat. Also check out Platinum Pied Pipers Shotgun ft J Dilla. We got exposed to a lot of Detroit MC's thru shows here in the 6ix. Much love to you for appreciating the music my generation grew up on.
It's a good thing you did the 'street version' of this song, because there's another version that's got a hook to cover the hook that Premier scratched the samples for. "Forever Is A Long Long Time" Marc Hannibal #originalsamples
You should do gangstarr soon! Guru & premier are to the best ever do it imo. You should do gangstarrs moment of Truth album there ain't a skip on that whole album! Classic.
love this joint
I'm forever screaming Royce the most underrated and mc in that game! Is wordplay is next level out of this world! And DJ premier might make the best best beats ever! He don't miss!
Royce featuring Travis Barker - Legendary
FINALLY
🔥🔥🔥
I think either Jeru Or Royce compliment premier beats the best. Royce has this song...Shake This...Hip Hop...and Second Place. All classics. Not to mention the joints Preem did with Slaughterhouse and the PRhyme albums. Hard to beat Royce and Primo.
You must do Tabernacle after this.
We NEED more Royce reactions 🙏🙏🙏
Classic beat 🔥🔥🔥
Ah yes... the ugly face when the beat dropped. I still do that to this song.
You should react to Next Level (Nyte Time Mix) by Showbiz & A.G., kinda sounds like the song that plays when you're getting ready to start the reaction.
- you know it’s primo 3 sec into the song type beat - This one, Full Clip, N.Y. State of Mind, The Enemy, A Million And One Questions, Nas Is Like etc got that iconic primo drums and sample chops. Also best scratch hooks in the game 🙌🏽
Royce murdered that beat
Royce & Preemo’s Prhyme album was 🔥, 1 more than 2
You should shoot a whole album review of Royce and DJ Premiere as a group known as PRhyme. This is Royce's old stuff, his new bag is crazy.
Yo premier ain’t moving up the list… he sitting at the TOP
Banger
If you looking for another crew from Detroit to review, check out Clear Soul Forces. Start off with "Get No Better" and go on from there. And check out the solo joints from all 4 members too. My favorite out of the crew is Noveliss. Check out one of his tracks "Brand New" also
I'm the verbal-spit Smith & Wesson
I unload with sick spit
The quick wit could split a split-second
Bomb with a lit wick expression
You hear a tick tick then you testin'
My saliva and spit can split thread into fiber and bits
So trust me, I'm as live as it gets..
It should be nominated for some of the hardest bars to start a track.. Right up where with Rebel INS on Triumph..
My man. I’m literally binging all your reactions 😂 that’s the soundtrack of my youth. 🙌🏽👏🏽💪🏽
My suggestion would be: Cru - Da Dirty 30 (Top 5 Album of all time imho)
Pre prhyme ish here, a taste of what was to come!
Cage- Escape To 88 ' (em diss)
And DJ Premier has to be one of the top 5 producers ever. Reactions to Gang Starr albums like Daily Operation, Hard To Earn, Moment Of Truth, and Step In The Arena would be dope!
Yeah!! Shit is 🔥
Bruh you gotta get into PRhyme, that's Royce and Premier as a duo.
Did you ever listen to Original Renegades?
I got some heat rocks for you
Royce the 5’9 n Eminem- scary movie
Kardinal offishal ft. Busta rhymes - old time killing remix
Ali Vegas - theme of New York
Saigon - say yes
Black rob- you don’t know me
I reacted to that scary movie song already 💯🔥
@@KingAhmadTv I must’ve of missed that one, but I’m glad you read the list on every video I find ima send you hot shit. One more I missed busts rhymes and spliff Starr- last night
bro you gotta check Royce 5'9 - hip-hop, also prod by Preemo and its even more lyrical
the first big Prhyme song,lol
You should react to Royce's album " Death is Certain". That album is a classic IMO. Also, the song "Deep" by Elzhi from Detroit. Elzhi is one of the most underrated MC's of all-time
You should check out Rock it by Phrhyme (Royce and premier)... another banger!
Bruh, U Might Wanna Deep Dive Into More Premier In Future Reactions
Yo check out track "Hip Hop" from Royce. Fire AF. Great reaction. Him, AZ and Cormega 3 most underrated MC'S ever
Yolanda's House by Ghostface Killah, Method Man, and Raekwon.
React to Rock It off the PRhyme 2 album. Preemo and Royce 🔥
CHECK OUT THE COUP AND SOULS OF MISCHIEF
2 GOAT 🐐🐐🐐
You gotta listen to some more DJ premier. One of the best if not the best producers. Peace King
Find "Wait" by Royce fam.
yo Ahmad you should check players from slum village, cleanest track you'll ever hear
Check out Royce- Regardless
I’m ask on every comment section lol I’m an old head I don’t go on other platforms please please please do Soul Assassins : Chapter One …. It’s a slept on classic featuring Wu Tang, Cypress Hill, Mobb Deep, LA tha Darkman, KRS One….. produced by DJ Muggs, Dr Dre, Alchemist, Havoc ……. PLEASE YOU WONT REGRET IT
ROYCE!! In my personal top 5. Please check these out.
"HEARTBEAT" leaked and unreleased track that was meant to be on his 2nd album, produced by Kanye
"LOSING OUT" by Black Milk, a Detroit rapper/producer. Hard beat, has a video and features Royce.
"TABERNACLE" A dope story about what Royce considers "the most significant day in his life"
"POWER" Royce details some of the disfunction of his household, growing up, and you get the bonus of hearing Royce show off more of his vocal capabilities.
And lastly, you definitely gotta get to Royce's LA Leakers Freestyle (#100)
5'9 was no joke i always like him more than Em. Bad meets Evil was 🔥
Let's get that Royce "line in the sand" if ya ain't heard it before homie ya need to
PREMO!!!
