Romans 8:15-16 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:/inspiration+Whenever we are in bondage to someone or something, we live in a state of fear. One good example is what happens when people get bound to credit card debt. We get so bound up in our debt that we live in a constant state of fear every time the phone rings. We believe it's one of our debt collectors. Every time a bill comes in, we are afraid we're not going to be able to pay it. Debt is a horrible master. Any kind of slavery breeds fear. A slave is under constant fear and constant alarm, but when we are freed in Christ, that fear goes away. In this passage Paul tells us that we don't have to be slaved to fear because we are not slaves to God. We are adopted to God, by God and with that adoption comes love and affection. Children who are adopted by a parent don't feel fear; they don't feel like slaves. They feel accepted. They feel wanted. They feel loved. God literally has taken us as strangers and brought us into His family. We are not slaves. We become His children even though, by birth we had no claim to Him, He still has taken us in and now we're under his protection and we're under his care and as such we obey him as a child. We can cry out to him as a child cries out to a father, Abba. God is our father above all things. Yes, He's a holy God but He is still our father. Even though our earthly father might be a great and powerful man on this earth, even though he may run huge corporations or be the president of the country, to us he is still "daddy." Paul helps us understand that in this passage. This great and almighty Lord of all creation is our daddy, who loves us and longs to protect us and we do not have to fear any longer once we become one of His children /prayer+ Father, I thank You for making me your child. I am thankful that I can come to You in sincerity just as I would come to my earthly father. I thank You that You accept me for who I am, that you've adopted me as one of Your own and that You love me as a father. Thank you for the love that You show me and adopting me as your family and making me one of Your own. Amen.

Quick tip on the 5.4 Triton, the spark plug blowing out is usually pertained to just the 2V version, which ran until 2003. Ford fixed this issue and presented another one when they changed the design to the 3V, they then had issues getting the plugs back out of the head and are common to snap off in the head.

@@seasickleader1142 Exactly. I own the 2004 F150 5.4 3 valve with 232,000 miles. Motor will soon need the complete timing chains, guides, phasers, tensioners, etc. job or eventually something bad with timing will happen. Still runs strong, however, and never a leak of any kind in the driveway. Truck has been remarkably solid. I got lucky, I guess. Just completed full suspension rebuild and it was about $1,200 in parts. Not bad.

Yeah I actually disagree with some things he said. I’ve driven vehicles with bad parts sometimes when I couldn’t afford parts, if you understand your vehicle you can feel when something is going to go really wrong. Don’t recommend doing that though. For those ball joints and tie rods to fail you would have to drive real fast on really bumpy and uneven roads, maybe do donuts on bumpy terrain would also help them fail, you could probably actually drive like around town just going easy on it for quite a while, even highway as long as your not driving like an idiot. After 07 or 08 they redesigned the plugs to not be as tight on the way out so they didn't get stuck from carbon buildup which fixed the issue.

In a garage called "German Auto" I would expect he has a lot of "Tuner Customers" which means you need a LOT of expertise to diagnose, repair and upgrade components. He is no greenhorn that's for sure! He's got some serious mechanic's miles under his belt. It's a nice thing to see when there's OBVIOUS competence and experience here!
For each vehicle based on my OWN experience with such older trucks, I would spend AT LEAST $2500 USD each to bring the trucks up to snuff so they are truly safe and roadworthy. In terms of 4x4 use, it's going to be ANOTHER $3000 USD each to bring them up to severe off-road worthiness! Some people would say NO WAY hozay BUT once you know what's wrong with them and that they are basically SOUND vehicles, you might as well spend the extra bucks and bring them up to the unwritten Off-Road 4x4 Code! Just like a McDonald's Meal, you will at least KNOW what you're going to get and it WILL taste good for at least a while!
When a NEW truck is going $50,000 USD+ I have no issue with spending $5000 to $7000 to get something I TRULY LIKE AND WANT in terms of 4x4 off-road ability! It sure is a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a NEW truck! You get nearly new performance at ONE-THIRD to ONE-QUARTER the price of new!
What's not to like about that! The money you just saved can now buy yourself new fishing and camping gear, a used QUAD-TRACK or dirt bike, and STILL have some spending money for the multiple two-week multi-lakeside and riverside fishing/camping trips!

I worked in those garages in Boulder in the early 90’s at a Harley shop called RoadHog motorcycles. What a trip!

Yeah the Dodge is out for sure but the Chevy and Ford are very close in the inspection.

I notice Toby didn't test drive the trucks and didn't mention the Dodge's transmission issues. The video said the critical issues were going to be fixed before going to Moab. Does this include getting that Dodge trans rebuilt, cause that tuner is just going to make it worse.

My local parts store does an AC recharge for $20 Canadian. Been over a year since I had it done and still blows ice cold air! $180? Wtf?

You can't just buy a can of refrigerant and spray it in. Mechanics hate people that do that. How to blow up your AC system 101. Its an exact science if you care to make the system last.

Best way to check tie ends is not with plyers its shaking the wheel back and forth jacked up close to the wheel as possible same with ball joints place your right hands at 1 o'clock an left at 7 pull out with left push in with right

That steering was good for a typical dodge through those years.

The Chevy looks like a pretty good deal, fix all the issues, and have a good driver quite some time and no 1000 a month truck payment. Not surprised about the dodge. The Ford well it's a Ford. I could really like the Chevy. I know you guys are going to beat them up because it's what guys want to see and it's all about the views! I would set that Chevy up to be a hunting and fishing Vehicle. I would put a Leer cap on it and do some work on the bed for racking out.

the brake light is likely a short in the cluster. Had the same issue, bending the left connector back a bit fixes it

I really like to see videos like this. I enjoy seeing what is happening under the truck, and to see a good tech review the problems and prices.
Who ever you have at German Auto Works should start his own RUclips channel, he was great.
