I’ve had the ultra frame 18 by 52 pool for seven years , the best pool for the price, we have just replaced the pool this March with the same model ! We have had no major problems over seven seasons of use with the first Ultra Frame . We did buy a upgrade sand filter from Intex double the size of the original, to go along with the new 18 x 52 Ultra Intex . Heard many people complain about Intex pools . I personally don’t have any complaints with Intex pools they are trouble free and last many seasons if taken care of correctly ! Thanks for your videos they are quite interesting !👍🏻
I just purchased one 2 weeks ago, it arrived yesterday, with the price hikes, it ended up being $1199. But looking into it, all of it is made in China, and as we all know china lost production is its major industrial zones for about 3 months. So I am expecting that once manufacturing ramps up again to full production we will see the prices start to drop again.
Putting the same pool up this weekend. Thank you for all the great videos and advice! I looked through the comments and don't see where you talked about the tools or chemicals, water testing, etc. Can you comment on that? I bought the Intex pool vacuum
I started out using those little test strips from Clorox but found them to be less than accurate. So I started taking water samples to my local pool supply store and they test it for free and tell me exactly what I need to add. Makes it nice and simple. As far as tools, I use a surface skimmer net and an Intex pool vacuum.
I just tore my pool down. 3 years we enjoyed it then the legs started rusting badly. It was not safe. I advise people to spray flex paint on all metal parts. The ladders are awful and not stable. I really enjoyed the pool, it just didn’t last. Ps/ save yourself a lot of work, cover it. All the gunk layered on the bottom is hard on the liner. 😃
The XTR Ultra Frame is powder coated inside and out. I doubt it'll rust in 3 years. Ours is now just over a year old and there is absolutely zero rust anywhere.
Its called price gouging! The prices out there are 3x the regular prices. And its illegal in some states. Its sad that people are profiting ridiculously off of this Pandemic 🤨
Do you like the sand pump that came with the pool? I notice a small pin hole in my pool like 2 or 3 days later. Don't know how it got there ,but the patches that come with it does not work. I used E6000 on it and BAM it worked!
Two questions: Aren't you afraid that water will come into your house if the pool collapses? How do you prevent animals from drowning in the pool? For that reason alone, I would cover the pool if it is unused and unattended for a long time!
My house sits quite a bit up off the ground, so I'm not worried about water getting in. As for animals, I've had the pool up and uncovered for over a year and have yet to find an animal in there. I have a ton of squirrels in my backyard but they don't seem the least bit interested in swimming.
Hi! My name is Tanya. I am from Southern California. My husband and I just bought the same pool, because after sometime of research We think that this one is the best option! I like your videos and glad that you made an update! Very helpful! Thank you! Also we are thinking about a upgrading to the salt water system in this pool? Do you have any experience with that? Thank you for your answer!
Hi Tanya! I'm glad you guys decided on this pool. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Unfortunately, I have no experience with the salt water system, so I can't offer any insight. Best of luck and enjoy!
Do you monitor the ph in your pool? I just bought a 22’ 52” inch deep version of yours. I’m completely new to pool maintenance and have no clue on how to maintain the chemical balance. Glad to see you have enjoyed your pool! Can’t wait to enjoy mine!
I do! I started out using those cheap strip tests but found them to be less than accurate. Now I just take a water sample to my local pool supply store and they test it for free and tell me exactly what I need to add. Very simple and easy.

I got a 26 foot ultra xtr. 😁 your video helped me figure out the same set up you have with your pump. I upgraded to sand filter 3000 hpg
Glad to hear it! Enjoy!!
I’ve had both the inter ultra frame and now Coleman. Zero issues from either pool. They’re great pools.

Great job on the video. I wish I could find one of these pools they seem to be all sold out or asking double the price.

So in June of 2020 the 20'x 52" is listed at $3,999 on Amazon. Why would there be such a difference in price?
Demand for these pools has skyrocketed since people were stuck at home during COVID-19.
Its called price gouging! The prices out there are 3x the regular prices. And its illegal in some states. Its sad that people are profiting ridiculously off of this Pandemic 🤨
Florida Outlander You nailed it. I noticed right off the bat the prices almost doubled out here in California and since then they have skyrocketed.
Thanks for the video! I was wondering if you happen to know how much extra cost in electricity it takes to run per month?

Seriously.. I just paid $2,800 for mine. It's a 24x52 but still yet I got ripped off LOL! COVID has ruined everything. 😒
Hi, love your videos. Can you do one of how you maintained it ? I’m really confuse of how to use the vacuum and wall skimmer. Thank you
Video coming out this weekend and I'll give you a shout out!

We use one that came as part of an Intext Delux Maintenance Kit.
Can you do a vedio on the surface skimmer
You asked for it! You got it! Video coming up this Saturday! Stay tuned!

Hello sir , I just bought a pool. Any pointers ?
@@miguelomana78 Just watch my videos. They contain all the pointers I can offer.
If you haven’t found your pool cover yet, (hint) it’s under the pool. Rewatch your time lapse video.
The round tarp you see if a 15 foot cover for a friend's pool. They bought a better one so I used this one as an additional underlayment.

Oh ok! That is a cool idea! Thanks for the quick reply !
Hello
Which robot vacuum you recommend! I just bought a pool? Any chemical recommendations you can give me to start my pool water going?
I just paid $1450 plus tax and $99 freight shipping from Walmart. Supply and demand
Any rust issues with the pool now that you've had it four years?
The only thing that has rusted is the ladder. The metal frame is still in like-new condition.
do you keep the skimmer attached all the time?
What vacuum do you use?
It’s a $1000 now
Curious where you found the pool for $1000? I think it is about $1300 on Amazon.
This pool is 2600$ today I have a hard side pool wish I had this instead
