I give round 9 to tyson, that movement from corner to corner is unmatched
😂😂😂
You got the wrong sport m8. In 'Drunken Boxing' Fury definitely took that round.
Hahahaha that's good
I still wonder why he didn't just take a knee. He's done it before, so has Joshua. It's a clever move when you're in trouble.
🤣
well said lads, I felt the same when Usyk won, he deserves all the praise. The UK fans live Usyk.
Proud of you for going from funny videos to hosting a podcast and doing bits for DAZN! One of the best channels for boxing content on the platform, love the growth and recognition you're getting bro keep it up 💪
Too kind bruv thanks a mil means a lot 🙌🙌🥊
Usyk: "Rematch in October"?
Fury: "Perfect, just in time for easter"
Looks like fury has fought wilder to many times , as wilders excuses have rubbed off on fury .
A lot of his fans have turned into Wilder fans too...
What excuses has he made?
@@TheStraightestWhitest that the reason it was awarded to usyk was becausd Ukraine is at war with ruSSia so he got the sympathy vote 🤣🤣🤣.
@@BernhardBernard oh yeah ive noticed 🤣🤣🤣
@@TheStraightestWhitest the fury fans also put out a video of Usyk kissing a crucifix and claiming it's a inhaler. Including Isaac Lowe who is a boxer thats friends with Tyson and on the team.
Tyson also blamed his corner for not telling him he needed the last rounds...
Boxing is on an all time high! But absolutely crazy to strip Usyk of the IBF after 2 weeks.
Ibf Is generally right rematch clauses are a pain the ass. The champion should be put in the rankings and get a mandatory shot, the craziness was not stripping Ruiz.
@@astrol4b tbf I thought an undisputed bout took precedence.
@@dude231ificationclose… a Unification bout takes precedence… not the rematch though, once the belts are collected, they have to face a mandatory.
@@dude231ification fighting hrgovic would be an undisputed fight, now in this particular case I'm all about the rematch because they are the two top and it was a close fight, but in general the clause the champion put in the contract to get an immediate rematch is bullshit the ibf Is right to do it, if they were consistent, maybe they don't like Fury lol.
Referee blocking usyk twice and had to be pushed away is beyond unprofessional, Usyk fought against referee, commentators, judges and Fury still got 8-4. Also they on the spot renewed an ancient rule to justify saving of Fury. The standing eight count was instituted in 1982 after the death of boxer Kim Duk-koo. The Association of Boxing Commissions later eliminated the standing eight count in 1998 and it is usually not invoked in professional bouts today.
I don’t think it was a standing 8 count. Fury was slumped against the ropes, would have been on the floor otherwise, and I think the referee gave him a standard 10 count. Otherwise points valid. Most refs would have waved it off half way through his staggering around the ropes. Ref wanted to save him for sure. Fair play to this powers of recovery though. He was gone
Now you know how Daniel Dubois felt 😉
@@david_fitzmauricePunches below the belt are illegal, they arent suddenly legal because its on Usyk
@@david_fitzmaurice frank warren went to commision, that only proven it was illegal... Surprise illegal blow are painful and not hide fact Daniel got boxing lesson and a salary on top
he was on the verge of waving it off, I think that's what hapened. I do think Fury would have got up anyway. That's what he does.
115-112 for me. Usyk outlanded Fury in 7 rounds on compubox and scored a knockdown. Plus he scored something like double the power shots. When you add in Usyk held centre ring and initiated the exchanges it's impossible to legitimately make a case for Fury winning.
Fury seemed to be very unsure and nervous leading up to and starting the fight, I think he has been very clever with who he chooses to fight and probably would have carried on avoiding Usyk if not for the massive money on offer. I think at best fury may have got 4 rounds, and a lot of his shots were either flick the jab out like he was measuring distance rather than proper shots, a lot of the better shots were taken on Usyk gloves. He seems to do this a lot, more selective point scoring attempts than shots with venom in them. Well done Usyk, a true fighting man who has taken on everyone despite their risk to him.
He tried to lean on Usyk but Usyk was controlling Fury's arms and posture. There's a breakdown video on youtube explaining how he did it if you're interested.
Yes I saw that too it was great
Usyk KOed Fury AND beat him on points !!!!!
Usyk confirmed in an interview that the round 6 uppercut did indeed hurt him pretty bad.
Excited for these takes 😂
Great pod lads - Great to hear propa accents 😎
35:04 “I’m sure John Fury isn’t a bad person.”
“Fucking ask the geezer with one eye.” 🤣
Great fight, FURY was doing great until round 9. Rematch is warranted
Usyk had back to back to back to back training camps and fought Dubois in the process from Fury pulling out again. Avoided usyk for 2 years whilst chatting BS with insults etc etc.
He was schooled.
Compubox stats for punches landed might back up your judging, but that's not the whole story. There's 4 judging criteria, punches, effective aggression, defense, ring generalship... Total punches thrown vs landed highlights who had more effective aggression and defense.
Usyk having the ring generalship, controlling the pace of the fight, controlling the place in the ring (center/ropes/corner) and position (back to ropes/back to center) of the fighters. Plus having the defense to prevent most punches landing, also aggression that creates the ring generalship, all contribute to the overall judgement of the round.
True Geordie must have a different “Compubox” his one says: Rounds 1-3 Usyk, Rounds 4-7 Fury, 8 - 12 to Usyk = 8 x 4 Usyk. I thought Usyk had round 7 too but, I’m factoring in Usyk being relentless despite the flack he took in 4-7, he controlled the whole fight. It would have been a TKO if the ref hadn’t been Fury’s bodyguard. Richie Woodhall is an idiot.
It’s not that Usyk gives away earlier rounds, it’s that he uses them to figure out the opponents weaknesses and patterns. Fury wasn’t guarding his right side, and his footwork would end up crossing his feet, standing straight on or ending up southpaw.
And it was those things that led to the 9th round KO
Great fight and even greater result for boxing and true boxing fans... Usyk inoue and bud pfp all time greats...
Fury is just a bit gay ain't he
He is a bit of a bandit ain’t he
Propa nufta
Pillow biter ain't he
Right scoundrel
😂😂😂
Honestly, I think Fury wins the rematch by doing the same thing but being more aggressive and following up on hurtful shots. That's not to take anything away from Usyk, he's a great fighter, and I wouldn't be surprised if he won it again. I just think Fury was closer than a lot of people realise
Propa did I hear you on the 5 v 5 promotion video? Have I dreamt that or what 😂
The big fella was subjected to a hell of a pummeling especially in the 9th. And he no longer has the big bushy beard to absorb that sort of onslaught.
This is who i thought won each round
Round 1: Usyk
Round 2: Usyk
Round 3: Usyk
Round 4: Fury
Round 5: Fury
Round 6: Fury
Round 7: Usyk (very close)
Roynd 8: Usyk
Round 9: Usyk (With a Knockdown)
Round 10: Usyk
Round 11: Usyk
Round 12: Usyk
7th could be furys becuse of his early work. You could also argue the 3rd. 1 and 2 were close and the camara angles made it hard to score sometimes.... still a great fight and an usyk win ofc.
Spot on Mate I also had it 8 rounds to 4 Usyk.
@Thomas...191 Fury did alot more showboating and was getting caught more. I almost gave Usyk round 12 as well. It was a fun fight and it was an amazing watch but it wasn't close in my eyes.
I have a 30 min drive to home. This video is 36 min. I'll drive slow.
Fury is giving up getting battered by middleweights for lent next week
I can't remember who said it but "if Fury gets hit with 10 shots and dodges the last the commentators would gas him up with - great movement there from Fury"
Was that on Dazn ? As on Sky the commentators seemed very pro Usyk , although Usyk was obviously the better fighter.
Was that on Dazn ? As on Sky the commentators seemed very pro Usyk , although Usyk was obviously the better fighter.
What a great fight, fair play to the both of them. And Great debate lads yee are a bunch of masterdebaters
It was a very close fight. Had Fury not been so cautious in the 12th it may very well had been a draw and if he had not been knocked down in the 9th (but still lost that round) he could have been given the decision.
I had it something like
Usyk: 1,3,8,9,10,11,12
Fury: 2,4,5,6,7
So imagine that Usyk doesn't have the knock down points and loses the 12th. Tyson has controlled the middle of the fight and has finished strong. Most people would not complain if he had been given the decision, even if it would be a razor thin one.
Absolutely love this podcast 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Between the other 2 dudes i usually have no idea who's talking, might as well be conversation of 2 people.
In old honesty, I don't believe it would have made any difference if Tyson's corner had told him he needed to win the 11th round. He had taken an absolute battering in the 9th round and I just don't think he was able to give more than he did after that. In fact he did very well to remain semi competitive. That said, his corner definitely should have told him the truth but who knows maybe they knew things about his psychology in relationship to this fight that we didn't. Perhaps telling him he was doing better than he actually was, was what they believed they needed to do in order to make sure he didn't panic and get dropped again. The real question is can he win the rematch in October? I don't think so , as it's just not enough time and he might even regress slightly compared to his current performance. He needs to get his corner sorted , get his head on straight and early next year would have been much smarter.
"Theres no way you can put a finger on Fury's fight" He is a huge guy who got completely outboxed by by the smaller guy obviously Fury could have been better
I thought the ref did get in the way but on further inspection I seen what really happened. When Usyk hurt Fury, Fury made a bolt to try and hide behind the ref. He did it like 3 times. Trying to hide behind the ref like that was embarrassing. You could see the fear in Fury's eye's as crumpled against the turnbuckle as Usyk lined up the final blow. His eyes were pleading for mercy from Usyk.
i need to rewatch the fight for this....could be a great shout.
Usyk 1,2,3 fury 4,5,6 usyk 7,8 fury was winning 9 then got battered, 10, 11 usyk 12 was a swing round fury had blown his load by the start of the 7th and usyk came back really well in that round landed some good shots that were much more eye catching, he was setting the pace of the action and he was pushing fury back.
Fury knew he was losing them opening rounds which is why he was showboating so much trying to con people.
He had good ends to both 2 & 3 but usyk won 2 of the 3 minutes of each
Too many British media are on the Fury payroll to call his fights honestly.
Fury carried rds 4-7 only
his cardio stopped him from moving forward and putting it on Uysk. If he put on more weight he cannot chase Uysk for rds 12 despite being the much bigger man.
Uysks chin and will is elite and his movement and energy is too much for current heavyweights.
Ro 8 was key for me once he smashed Fury’s nose he grew scared and went onto the back foot.
You can’t beat Uysk on the back foot you have to move forward make it ugly close the distance.
Fury has abused his body and destroyed his cardio range to compete with Uysks.
Uysks battered Mr Bipolar from pillar to post and wins rematch tko.
Happy new year!

Yeah this is the video 😂
COSSACK POWER ( KOZAK )
I had some absolute bell end interrupt a phone call with my mum to yell at me that Fury won the day after the fight. What in the six cans of special brew was that all about?
There is a video of the ref in Usyk’s dressing room before the fight saying “I will stay out of the way” then did the exact opposite.
Going by the aggression and coming forwards scores points logic a clever defensive master with no big punch like Willie Pep wouldn't have ever won a fight let alone become a world champion, he once won a round without throwing a punch, and after all boxing is meant to be The Art Of Self Defence !
I think if your being generous to fury you can give him 5 rounds but if your being fair he won 4 usyk also had a 10-8 round so how anyone thinks he won that fight is beyond me
Okay just wrestling a little morality down you know what im like ill cool off the winding up and playing psychology thanks for the warning😅😅😅

the ropes rule is so the attacking fighter dosn't get ripped off by the defending fighter using ropes to stay up but Usyk was punished by the ref abusing the ropes rule to defend Fury it was a stoppage but the ref cheated?

I'm glad for Usyk and I'm not a Fury hater, it's just that Oleksandr was underestimated all the way, "too small for a heavyweight, he doesn't have a powerful punch, rabbit, sausage" and blah blah blah...
Justice has prevailed. Happy New Year.
Think Fury is well off his best still, but that's the price you pay for poor discipline
John 'second prize' Fury who retired with a cauliflower arse from all his put downs. The man who can tell you what the ceiling looks like in every venue he ever fought in... Absolutely needs to get back in the sea

Cauliflower Arse! 😅🤣

Cauliflower arse is a topper 😂😂
Fury won 4,5 and 6, maybe the 12th but how anyone had him winning that fight is baffling. Landing a jab and a couple pissy body shots here and there in the opening rounds was never winning those rounds. Usyk took away his best weapons so good, the body shots, the jab and the uppercut stopped landing at a point because Usyk made such smart adjustments. Truly the superior boxer in all aspects to every HW today.
The stats don’t tell the truth in the sense of, Usyk was landing stiff straights to the body and Fury was landing flicking jabs, fair enough Fury might land more flicking jabs but the hard straights to the body is just better work and should be scored higher
Bang on I had him winning 4 5 6 and even 12th
117-112
3 was tight. On the rewatch I gave the first two to usyk, but they were tight, the camara angles sometimes made it hard to score them as well tbh.
they stopped landing because Usyk landed something on Fury which really bothered him and he was constantly dabbing away at his nose, looked broken maybe. It did look like Fury was completely taking control in the middle rounds up until that point.
He stopped landing the uppercuts because Usyk would lead his head off centre line and pivot, the body shots stopped landing because Usyk would tuck his elbows better and stand a little bit further out as he’s pressuring him and the jab landed less and less because Usyk controlled outside foot position and slip it
Usyk beat Fury up so badly he went from Irish traveller to time-traveller. Happy New Year!
It was a reference to how Usyk missed a few of them due to training camps. Shame most Fury haters only started watching boxing two days ago.

@@TheStraightestWhitest Stop it! You lot keep saying is because of Islamic Lunar Year which is not true as it is in July and we are still in May. Usyk only said that at the interview after the fight he missed the New Year but Fury screamed while he's in the ring. Clutching at straws.
Fury woke up at the original fight date.
"I'm not interested in how you both are." Brilliant start! 😂😂
For the 2 lads saying "Fury throws more and lands more in the first 3 rounds", that's a bunch of $hit if I ever heard it.
Usyk landed WAY more in the first 3 rounds, and a LOT of Usyk's punches were clean. Fury barely landed and he didn't really throw that much more. Extending your arms at times without even throwing a proper punch isn't throwing, is it now?
Fury was landing loads in the first 3... On Usyk's gloves.
@@AvocadoAfficionadoexactly landing on the gloves and arms isn't scoring shots and neither is it when Usyk hit Fury in the face and Fury responds with hitting Usyk up the back of the head
I don't think Tyson will go through with the rematch. Tyson's comments/behaviour are the result of a sustained attack from Ukraine's finest, and Colombia's finest. That pincer attack is evidently devastating for the brain. Fury is gone. 🛌
Add a chaser of Big John Fury and you've got a lethal combination.
Is there even any real evidence that Fury was on the sniff during those conferences. There are prescription drugs that make people look wired and gurny like that, the kind that people with mental health issues are sometimes prescribed
This was worth the wait, Opetaia Breidis was also amazing and showed Breidis even in his old age is still one of the best cruiserweights.
The first half of that fight was an absolute borefest

Absolutely spot on, it's unavoidable with the Fury's. I was giving Tyson his props the ways he come out after the 9th & fought on. He showed real grit & heart during 10,11,12 I thought Usyk was gonna finish him. I'm saying this & then he goes & says that bollocks about the War & Usyk's getting the sympathy vote. I'm done with them & I've never seen so many British Boxing fans want the other fella to win. They've done it to themselves.
1-3 Usyk, 4-6 Fury, 7-12 Usyk. Fury was hitting gloves and missing outside of the middle rounds. Fury couldn't get Usyk in the clinch, because Usyk kept his elbows tightly tucked in which stopped Fury from locking arms.

Wouldn’t say dominate but he deserved to win. Still a 50/50 fight if they meet again
I give Usyk rd's: 1,2,8,9,10,11 AND 12. RD 3 was pretty even but just so the Fury fans don't get their panties in a twist any more than they already have ... i'll give that 3rd rd to Fury. So many saying rd 12 went to Fury. Not even close honestly. I've watched the 12th rd FOUR times now and Usyk lands WAY more shots than Fury... fury lands 2 jabs and 2 semi hard R hands. That's it. Usyk landed far more and some really good shots at that. Rd 11 was pretty lack luster and i could see how someone might give that to Fury.
Even if you give Fury one of the rds i gave Usyk.... Usyk still wins because of the 10-8 rd 9. Even if you're a judge and think it's even, the ring generalship of Usyk, backing up the much larger man the vast majority of the fight and hurting him like Usyk did in Rd 9 should tip the scales in Usyk's favor.
It's a clear cut win for Usyk if we're being honest. But again... you have to be HONEST with yourself.

Love the instant banter. I don’t know what it’s about but I can tell it’s genuine
I gave Fury rounds 3-4-5-6-12. Usyk rounds 1-2-7-8-9-10-11. Seven rounds to Five Usyk plus the 10-8 round in the ninth. I had Usyk winning by three points.
Yeah I’d agree with that. That’s how I’d have it.
But honestly I could see more to Usyk but cannot see any less than that. Don’t know how people see it for Fury! 😂
The fix was in for fury to win the first 6 rounds canelo v bivol style.
Ref and WBC judge were rigged. One judge saved the face of boxing results.
Corruption stinks behind the scenes.
The _one punch_ that did it was when Usyk landed right on the end of Fury's nose in Rd9 I think. The sheer _pain_ from that shot scrambled his brain, and Fury was unable to stop himself getting caught and rocked after that. I'm just so happy for Usyk, has anyone ever deserved it more?
End of round 8, he momentarily froze in the corner also.
Decent opening analysis...but there is no such thing as "my truth" only 'the truth'.
I’m skint can I come on the podcast
Getting it because of the war in Ukraine & getting it on New Year's Day, is exceptional. 🙂
Man when I saw them at the start of the 1st round I told to myself... how the hell will Usyk get to him, size difference was mental! Usyk is a magician tho, he somehowe hypnotizes those guys and makes them fight on their backfoot. Those guys should’ve bullied him. Imagine if AJ and Fury were his size, he would’ve wiped the floor with them like they don’t even belong in the ring. If you forget about their size, Usyk is levels above everyone at HW. Fury was a good champion, but Usyk is the consummate warrior. There's a substantial difference between the two
One term not used enough when talking boxing, and coined it seems by HBOs late great commentator Howard Lederman is “Ring Generalship”, and this is a scoring point. Usyk was the ring general through the whole fight and there’s no way Fury won the fight. 4-7 he had a good run, nip n tuck a few rounds that’s it. Usyk is a beast.

Caution my head butt if approached.
All these questions about Tyson fury's power are predicated on the fact that he's big, so everything he's gonna throw is gonna hurt, which is not always true. Tyson fury also slaps a lot. Kind of like Muhammad Ali used to do. People tend to assume that because usyk is only 6 foot 3, that he can't punch. And I just wanna let everybody who is a fan of the sport that says a fighter can't punch. That's the one thing they all know how to do. Some have more power some have less. I have seen very skinny kids totally layout bullies twice the size of them. Don't always assume because somebody is big that he can punch. There are a lot of muscle-bound weight lifters who cannot throw a punch. And I'm not saying fury is that. But that everybody assumes because the Ukrainian is smaller that he can't punch. He also has the Spring off his feet and his punches. Don't think about that when he's lebanatia that's twice as hard. Just like Mike Tyson. Tell everybody that Mike Tyson fought he was too small 😂 And Tyson he wasn't just power. He was fast accurate and explosive. But his fundamentals not Mike Tyson's power. He knew his fundamentals were so good that he could totally commit to the punch. He was like a complete Floyd Patterson.
Usyk and his team are world class, Fury and his team are classless. A great fight and credit to Fury, as you said it takes 2 to make a fight but for me Usyk’s a different level. A natural cruiser weight has fought 36 rounds with the best and biggest 2 heavyweights and has won at least 27 of those rounds whilst taking their best shots and almost stopping the pair of them and that’s a fact. look at the size of Usyk I’m sorry but it was a master class as Fury was considered the best of this era and possibly one of the all time greats. Fury won four rounds by the stats so master class is correct. Usyk’s one of the GOATS and deserves full credit for his achievements. Happy new year, wait a minute where the fuck am I, sorry who are you, half past twelve. He was knocked senseless.
Listening to chat about compubox stats as the reason for awarding round wins is gripping my sh*t.
It doesn’t tell the full story.
When you’re ringside the sound of leather landing tells you who’s really landing shots - until they start mic’ing up the ring effectively so you can hear who’s really landing with venom - you can’t score a close fight when you’re watching on tv.
Edit. Spoke too soon - Propa just mentioned how different the commentary sounded to what we were seeing on tv - that’s the point - armchair warriors need to pipe down!
Guys, we are grateful to the Brits for so many things, including this beautiful sport. The least we can do is to provide quality stuff. Glad our boy didn't disappoint 💛💙✌
