This was super helpful and to the point! Anyone else having problems I like to also point out the child lock button on the driver side was the culprit why my passenger window wudnt go back up
awesome video. i have a short in the wiring to the passenger side front window motor. if i leave the fuse plugged in the battery drains in about 30 hours. im going to build a new loom and scope the ecu output with my oscilloscope and equivalent impedance of the motor (kinda like using a dimbulb load when fixing a mains powered device) just in case it's a bigger problem. the 12 v dc square pwm signal should be the same no matter which window i use so the comparison shouldnt be an issue. thanks alot for the video. what are the common ferrules used for the connectors in the door do you know? i've had the car since 2010 and it's the first problem i've had with the car so i cant complain. it still looks brand new but needs a new speaker while i fix the wires. i may upgrade them since i have no plans of getting rid of the car any time soon and it's black friday sales haha. once again, great video.
My 2010 mazda 3 doesn't have the power lock unlock button that area where it's supposed to be is empty on driver and passenger and i only have a key no power keyfob.
Thanks for the video. Could you make a video specifically for intermittent door open ligts on the dashboard. I have a Mazda 3 2010 and it is now experiencing issues with the dashboard open door lights. It is intermittent, doesn't matter which door light, the doors are all nice and closed, even the trunk light comes one with it securely closed.
i have a 2012 mazda 3, any ideas on what could be causing my power lock switch to only work when unlocking and not locking? ive checked every fuse and battery, as well as checked my key fob
Test the front passenger lock button if it works there it might be the contact points on the switch for the driver side door are dirty or the switch is going bad if it happens with either of the switches on both doors and the key fob it might be the BCM
I have a 2010 mazda 3 but it doesnt have power lock. I have replaced the battery in the remote, checked the 15 amp D Lock fuse inside the car on the driver side and that fuse is good. Any suggestions? All I seem to find online is for power door locks only
How do you not have a power locks if you have key fob? (“Battery in the remote”) sounds like an after market system in which case you might want to take it to a auto electronics shop or take the door panel apart yourself and see if the motor that is moving the rods is bad or if it just is lacking power by using a multimeter
I’ve done it just with a flathead screw driver might want to put a little tape on it to prevent it from scratching gently wedge it out little by little and once you have a little room pull it with your fingers

Thank you for this video. You just helped me save from an unesseary expense i don't need

Hello, Any Idea how to remove the big 30 A fuse that provides power for all windows except for the driver side window?
I need to know this too! How do you remove the pink 30 amp JCASE Fuse?! Thanks in advance!

2010 Mazda 3. Changing room fuse - sparks when inserted and blows fuse. Same if battery is disconnected
What is the green fuse for on the bottom left?
Well somebody totally scratched up the plastic opening the fusebox with a sharp metal tool. Very clumsy... but the video was helpful.
How can i unlock the car if key is locked in car ?
Thanks 🙏🏼
