I will forever appreciate you Kenji Explains. You’ve helped my family a lot, since the pandemic till now your advices and lessons are inspirational and helpful to us. My Husband and I have been able to be minimal, conscious in spending, saving and investing wisely. We have been able to earn on a weekly basis and it helps the family a lot. You’re such a blessing to this generation. We all love ❤️😊
Hi Kenjii. I love your content always and it has been constant guide for me as I am currently looking for Investment banking roles. I just wanted to know once I connect with these certain individuals, how do you manage to ask them their email ids or contact numbers??
Hi! I didn't network so intensely to be honest mainly because I knew I checked most of the boxes (Ivy League, high gpa, big4 work experience etc.). Also often they weren't that "formal" because it was a recruiting event at my university for instance so I would just chat with some people. I'd say 5-10 as a rough estimate. Hope this helps!
Great Video Kenji. Keep it up. Soon will start posting my experience working at Big4 and the consulting life. Btw which software do you use to edit videos?
Hi there, no it's not necessary. It's one way to go about it but there's a lot of people that get in straight out of university, typically by completing a summer internship between the 3rd and 4th year of university.
Hi Kenji, I currently work at a bank in the retail division, but I've also gotten a few connections on LinkedIn from the bank I work at that are in the investment banking division, which is where I want to work. Do you recommend I reach out through LinkedIn, where I initially connected, or do you recommend I email them through my work email and set up a informational interview there? I was thinking the latter given that I can use the fact that we work in the same bank as something we have in common. I'd like to hear your opinion. Thank you.
Dr. Farre, you blow my mind

Hey kenji. What's your LinkedIn. I was hoping we could connect.
Hi, is an MBA necessary in order to proceed in the career of IB or other finance-related jobs?

Hi yeah I agree emailing them internally is probably more likely to get their attention
