I have now used the N30i since it was released by Resmed last Mon 4/11/24. To date the observations from both myself & my sleeping partner are that my AHI s have improved 'significantly. Average previously using the Resmed N20 mask it was 0.5, now averaging 0.0-0.1. Tip of the nose after waking up has been generally a bit a sore, but progressively improving. My wife is saying that my mouth is opening occasionally causing a bit of disturbance to her (not sure how I can address this, maybe employing a chin strap reluctantly?) Still a bit unsure that the diffuser needs to be washed on a daily basis? Also I am still to hear feedback on how frequently the pillow section & or diffuser is recommended to be changed? Thanks & kudos for the informative vlog. BTW: Only early days yet using the mask.
If you feel like the chin strap fits your setup, it is worth trying! As for the cleaning, we usually recommend cleaning out the diffuser about once a week, along with the rest of the math. As for replacements, looking more in the 2 to 3-month range. Again, depends on person to person, but those are the recommended ranges!
So what is the difference between this and the P30??? I can tell you that I get skin irritation and acne from the silica material. I’m a side sleeper and currently use an N20
The difference is the material that the head straps and nasal pillows are made with. They are made with soft, moisture-wicking fabric lines the inside of the silicone cushion for ultimate comfort.
Very disappointing to see that they did not make improvements to the head. This thing slipped up the back of the head cost a leaf throughout the night. It’s a terrible terrible design. Resmed shoudl address this Problem as the mask is brilliant
Thank you for the notes! If you wanted to talk to one of our customer service agents, they can try to help make the mask fit better! Our number is 866-936-3754
great vid, enjoyed it. Cheers

Some folks like to swap in the headgear (back strap) of a Dreamwear mask, which fits the N30i/P30i frame as well. It doesn’t seem to slide as much.
