Great video. Just a question, to use with the Action 4, which one do you recommend between the mic 2 only transmitter and the mic mini receiver + transmitter? They are almost the same price in the configuration we are talking and I am interested. We would use mostly for some ambient sound for the video tour on our channel. Thanks 😊
if you’re solely going to use it with an action 4, you might as well get the mic 2 since you won’t need the receiver anyways. if you’re going to use it with some other cameras, you also have the benefit of doing internal recording and syncing it with a clap like i showed in the video. the only reason i would take the receiver is if im doing a lot of shooting with another camera that needs to be synced, because it will be a pain to sync 50 clips together. for ambient sounds, you also have the benefit of just recording the sound without having to record a video. hope that made sense!
Thanks for the detailed review. For the sound test part it was a bit unclear to have the airplane sound. Was ist also present when recording with mic mini. What I noticed here and in other reviews is that Hollyland has this super crisp and clear sound and Mic mini has more of the laid back slightly more bass sound profile like a shure studio mic. I feel like that makes the mic mini sound a bit better.
sorry about that! i didnt think the plane would be heard so i didnt even comment on that. i think i do generally agree with your statement (im far from an audiophile so i may not be the best person to judge that haha). i think for most people, all 3 mics sound really good, and its more up to features and usability,
Great review, appreciate the effort that you put into this
thanks a bunch, that means a ton! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Good review, thank you very much! Was looking for a comparison for the noise cancelling and you helped me with that. ❤
glad to hear that!
Thank you for the review; the clipping control part is what I've been looking for
hope it was helpful! 🔥

@@herokme thanks a lot for you detailed feedback. You are great, keep going
appreciate that, thanks for your support! 🙏🏻
Is it possible to connect DJI Mic Mini directly to the Insta360 X4 without using a receiver?
via bluetooth i think it works. but it would be lower sound quality. it only pairs directly to dji products
why the ligtning jack is not on the website. Can it be used with dji mic 2?
the lightning jack has to be purchased separately. there’s a combo that has it
@@herokme Please give me the link to buy it. I see it available on all youtubers' video reviews but not on the web. Thanks a lot

The lark m2s also have 2 levels of noise cancelation and an app (lark sound) but is more basic than the one from DJI.
oh does it? i honestly didn’t know that. it’s not clear on their website that it has two
