It would've been great if he had stayed in character after the reveal. Then at dinner that night he has an encore reveal that he's not a total self absorbed asshole
They've done interviews together since the whole thing aired and they are actually friends still! Ronald said they get beers when James is in town haha
@nateb4543 they wanted Ronald to know that the friendship they created was real. They told him right away. You can't wait until that night to say that.
For the record, Jurys DO take field trips to the scene in certain cases, the most recent notable example is in the Alex Murdaugh case. But its also happened in cases of School Shootings. So it is in fact, a real thing that happens in the American justice system
Damn... I remember when X-Men came out my mom and sister were like "this guy has some amazing facial features" and I said "I bet in like 15-20 years all of that will be gone🤷🏻♂️". And here he is, looking even better lmao
Anybody notice how the guy in the hat starts almost every sentence off with I and then proceeds to talk about himself throught this whole interview? Me too.
I love James Marsden I would have been devastated to meet the heightened version and believe that was him haha Ronald what a legend. Felt bit bad for him coz he really thought he made real bonds with these "people" Ron is amazing! I for one as a female loves him!
He's actually friends with everyone still! He was just at one of the actor's birthday party recently. And him and James get beers together when James is in town hahah... Very cute!
Great interview. You guys asked all the questions I had in my head. Marsden comes off like a really good guy. I never was a fan of him, or really just wasn't aware of him, but I'm a fan of his now. Jury Duty is a phenomenal show.
He seems like a super sweet guy. I havent finished this interview yet so maybe he mentions it, but James and Ronald are still friends and get beers together when James is in town!
This is why they wanted someone that never served Jury Duty. So much stuff that would never happen in real jury duty. I watched this while I was on Jury Duty.
Just finished series and so glad I found this interview!! I was dying the hear James’ take on the endeavor. Now off to watch your episode with Ronald …
Can someone clear this up for me? The only thing I didn’t understand was after the birthday party in episode 6, Marsden says in the group interview that he is sorry he never made it to the party. Everyone including Ronald is listening to him say this. But after the reveal in episode 8 they do show a clip of him coming back to the party with another cake for Ross and seemingly makes amends with everyone. This confused me.
He brought a cake back, but he wasn't involved in festivities. I'm guessing they just cut it and when he brought the cake he say something like he couldn't stay.
James was absolutely brilliant Jury Duty. I would have barely recognised him beforehand, but I'm gonna watch whatever he's in now. Him leaving the table saying " I gotta make dirty water" hahaha
Some fantastic behind the scenes stuff, thanks so much for interviewing James! Wanted more from this show after finishing it and this did exactly that!
I was on a jury in a murder trial in Texas… and I can say Jury Duty broke every rule about being on a jury. LOL😂 But it was such fun to watch!! (Example: it is NOT the forepersons job to control the jury.. in fact that job is not even chosen till after closing arguments & both sides “rest”)
The 1st time i saw a trailer for Jury Duty was literally at the same time i opened my own jury summons in the mail. i was so pissed i didnt even wanna watch this show. glad i gave it a chance
During the whole show, I missed the fact that Ronald was not an actor like the rest. I thought it was just a mockumentry. I was surprised on the last ep, just like him.
2:36 is the most disrespectful and rude interruption in the history of barstool!!! And for those tuning in to drink every time KFC interrupts Feits or James, good luck. How few people are choosing KFC in a KFC radio divorce?
I had to look that up but the jury sometimes actually does go to the scene of the case. Apparently, the OJ Simpson case was one of the times they did that, and they actually took the jury to the OJ Simpson crime scene. I thought that was interesting.
@@KFCRadio next time, work on letting your guests speak so we can hear their answers! Constant interruptions made it difficult to follow until I skipped ahead. Appreciate you interviewing both him and Ronald, but I wish you'd have let them speak ❤️
So what did they tell Ronald was the reason for the rest of the cast arriving at the courthouse before him everyday? James said he would show up after?
im not going to lie, i saw the comments and thought nah... it cant be that bad.... and you guys really do be interrupting him in the middle of a sentence. He starts saying something that your viewers would love to know and you interrupt with like generic conversation adlibs.... you tried to make a casual, friendly atmosphere but forgot that bros not actually here to be your friends but your guest... its annoying enough for me to stop the video just to type this. I am not hating I swear, its been a year now. ill probably never watch another one of your interviews, that's a lie going to watch the Ronald one after, but I hope there has been improvements for your own sakes
Fietleberg why do you have to try and relate to everything a guest does and says? You’re not on their level bro no one cares about some Netflix show you watched called “push”
I would marry Ronald. He even became more physically attractive as he went through the show, but some of that might’ve been the beard he was growing. Not completely sure.
I bet Ronald was actually excited to find out James Marsden is a genuine guy instead of the character he played lol
There's an interview (I think iHeart Radio) where Ronald says he was relieved to find out Marsden is not like that in real life
The genius of casting James Marsden as himself is that now I'll never forget his name
It's also so funny that they always called him by his full name.
@@jaybestnz Yeah lol
Us comic nerds have known his name for over 20 years lol
@@pnut3844able Fair, but I was never much of an X-men person, still haven't seen all of them. I mostly knew and liked him from Westworld.
I really wish they would also a full length "The making of Jury Duty". That would be awesome.
yes please oh please
I want the 8 hour Snyder cut.
guys let him TALK
5 minutes in and It’s driving me nuts!
I had to pause it . Fucking unreal how bad these guys just fucking yap and yap and yap
Chill, James seemed fine with it. You can tell he wasn’t uncomfortable
For the record, Jurys DO take field trips to the scene in certain cases, the most recent notable example is in the Alex Murdaugh case. But its also happened in cases of School Shootings. So it is in fact, a real thing that happens in the American justice system
I was thinking the same thing!
I was just about to google this!
They did it for the O.J. Simpson trial, if that FX miniseries was telling the truth.
@@SuperScarface83 they did visit OJs House in the trial (real life, not only in the series)
OJ Simpson jury visited his house and I believe the crime scene as well.
let the guest speak holy shit
James handled this interview beautifully.. The other dudes are cringe 😬
Couldn’t agree more
They just talked over him a lot
First rule of interviewing. Let the damn guest speak, and shut the F up when they do.
You guys should stop interviewing people if you're not going to actually let them speak for more than 5 seconds before interrupting them..
Damn... I remember when X-Men came out my mom and sister were like "this guy has some amazing facial features" and I said "I bet in like 15-20 years all of that will be gone🤷🏻♂️". And here he is, looking even better lmao
Like a foine woine
Jury Duty is an amazing show and I cannot wait for the new episodes this week. I want to see how Ronald handles the reveal
I cried
You need to let your guest SPEAK
Yeah they’re rushing him & James is just trying to speak at normal pace.
You’re right, he can’ barely get a word or sentence in without them interrupting the conversation.
Kevin interviews Kevin. Not a horrible interview but damn, let him cook
Anybody notice how the guy in the hat starts almost every sentence off with I and then proceeds to talk about himself throught this whole interview? Me too.
Let 👏🏼 him 👏🏼 talk 👏🏼
The OJ jury literally got to go to this house and the crime scene lol. It isn't unheard of to take a field trip
Kevin let the man speak my god. Wouldn’t matter if you had god himself as a guest you’d interrupt and speak over him
Yeah it's infuriating. I'd rather hear this dude tell the damn story
Literally, no one wants to hear him we want to hear James!!!!
Amen! Geesh.
fr i don’t want to be mean but if i was interviewing someone i wouldnt keep constantly talking over him especially James
literally the first thing i commented after watching 10 minutes of the show
I am now a big fan of James Marsden.
You guys had James Marsden on your couch and interrupted literally every sentence he spoke..
Not great interviewers. Let your guests do most the talking. It's not about you
Same here! Still waiting his story about the nap during the trial. I don't understand why invite a guest and not let her talk...
i swearrrrrrrrrr! i HATE when interviewers do that shit
These guys suck.
hate watching these guys interview
I love James Marsden I would have been devastated to meet the heightened version and believe that was him haha
Ronald what a legend.

Ron is amazing! I for one as a female loves him!
He's actually friends with everyone still! He was just at one of the actor's birthday party recently. And him and James get beers together when James is in town hahah... Very cute!
"I for one as a female" was a weird way to put that, but as a fellow female, I guess I'd have to agree
@@CrickBritt lol coz the hosts were saying "females" are gonna love ronald. At least I think they did haha
Not even done with the ep yet but James Marsden is the fucking best. I'm telling my fiance tonight we gotta watch Jury Duty.
Marsden in the forklift was sooo funny. Couldn’t stop laughing 😂😂💀💀💀
“Where’s X-Man at?” 😂

3:37 marsden is still believing he’s a full juror and not an alternate. You’ll get your chance one day james, keep believing!🙌☝️
This is the best show that’s ever aired. Absolute genius!
This is why they wanted someone that never served Jury Duty. So much stuff that would never happen in real jury duty.
I watched this while I was on Jury Duty.
Exactly. The bailiff didn't even have a gun lmao
Just finished series and so glad I found this interview!! I was dying the hear James’ take on the endeavor. Now off to watch your episode with Ronald …

He makes appearances at the party but isn't really present. That's what I think
It’s crazy how the actors manage to keep a straight face through it. 😂
James is so attractive it’s crazy

Some fantastic behind the scenes stuff, thanks so much for interviewing James! Wanted more from this show after finishing it and this did exactly that!
What kills me about the show is that its really a one and done. There won't be a season 2

I love that he colored the origami like Cyclops lol

How few people are choosing KFC in a KFC radio divorce?
@8:05 I had the exact same thought! "Am I (the viewer) getting pranked here?"
James is so chill
I loved the show! Perfect! Funny AF!
I enjoyed the interview but wish the interviewers would let James finish his thoughts fully. The constant interruptions were frustrating.
Love that jury duty show.
Season 2 should be where the actor is the one being punked thinking they're in on it, and it's actually a set within a set within a larger set.
I wish they had James Marsden on rather than these 2 dudes talking the whole time...
the jumpscare on the script was the funniest shit
I had to look that up but the jury sometimes actually does go to the scene of the case. Apparently, the OJ Simpson case was one of the times they did that, and they actually took the jury to the OJ Simpson crime scene. I thought that was interesting.
Great guest. I am new to these interviewers. I feel they interrupt a little too much so far, such as 14:00
the evermore hoodie omg
The evermore hoodie 😍
Oh man, was hoping this was going to be a good interview, all ya got was interrupting cow
We need unused footage from jury duty
Hey James Marsden! The bed jumper, turd dropper, cake flipper and flexer of filmography-er!
Supposedly they are making a 2nd season. I'm sure they'll have to do all hidden cameras, bc a camera crew would give it away now.
that was a delightful interview.
thanks for watchin Connor!
@@KFCRadio next time, work on letting your guests speak so we can hear their answers! Constant interruptions made it difficult to follow until I skipped ahead. Appreciate you interviewing both him and Ronald, but I wish you'd have let them speak ❤️
Awww thafs perfect Ronald was a parks and rec fan!!!
The guy in the grey hoodie needs to shutup and let his guest and cohost actually talk.
Quit interrupting the guests
Yes, some jurors are asked to visit crime scenes
Lol at makeup “it’s a girl!” Cake idea.
Field trips are a thing. Well in Australia it is.
you guys gota let your gusts talk more and not cut them off
you do go to the scene of the crime sometimes, did it with the OJ case
How could the makers of the show not be sure that Ronald wouldn't sue them?
So what did they tell Ronald was the reason for the rest of the cast arriving at the courthouse before him everyday? James said he would show up after?
Yeah, because didn't he come with the cast on the bus?
Put James together with Rob Lowe and let it roll!
Even though it is all fake it is still funny and worth watching.
Awful interviewers, impossible for Marsden to get a word in.
Lot of comments agree that they interrupted their guest way too much
How is this dude 50 years old
Shock And Awe
Ronald's ability to just be straight up about Sonic not rating well is yet another example of his authenticity.
The cake scene was heartbreaking.
Best thing homie ever did for his career.
I wanted to listen but had to stop because these 2 guys are infuriating with how much they talk/interrupt James. Let him get the full thought out!!
Why did these guys keep interupting him while hes in the middle of excellent content?
Straight up terrible listeners
Juries OFTEN visit scene of the crime!
❤️🔥😝🙌🏼
Great fckn interview guys!!! Hope he comes back!
Why arent they letting James talk?
Stop steamrolling your guest!!!!
hahahhahaha
I mean you guys seem cool and all but maybe don't steamroll the interviewee too often?
Damn, you two need to speak more concisely and get the point of what you’re saying out of your mouth so the guest can speak.
made it 10 minutes before the interviewers became insufferable. switched to the "chicks in the office" interview, so much better
im not going to lie, i saw the comments and thought nah... it cant be that bad.... and you guys really do be interrupting him in the middle of a sentence. i never seen worse interviewers these guys need to learn to read their comments and take notes.
i hate when the dude w the hat opens his mouth
Hey KFC
Add these two guys to the heaping pile of reasons Barstool sucks.
7:10
