I wish you let Ronald speak more. It's as if you both were being interviewed and Ronald would say a few words. It would have made for a better interview to let Ronald speak on his experience instead of making all those comments you made.
Agreed, also Ronald is not the most assertive which contributes to his likability imo but I felt similarly watching interviews with him and James M, he tends to speak minimally. Loved hearing what he had to say. This experiment was fascinating.
The guys isn’t used to being interviewed so of course they are trying to make him more comfortable than… ask question, you answer… ask question. You answer…. I’ll take the two professionals over RUclips commenters
Honestly, it’s very disappointing because he went through something that none of us have ever gone through and Interview was just focused on themselves the entire time.
In defense of the hosts, I was married to a radio talk-show host and his biggest fear was "dead air". They have listeners and followers who expect them to keep things moving and it's a fine line between talking too much and not talking enough. And I think interviews are actually harder when there are 2 hosts, because they both sort of compete to have their questions answered. So I guess I'm just saying that I enjoyed all the banter and I got the impression that Ronald did, too.
I wish they asked Ronald more questions about his experience. It just seemed like the two hosts were having their own conversation about what they thought and would sometimes asks Ronald a question here and there. Kinda disappointed.
next time you have a cool guest, you should give them space to speak and have their moment. It's grating how you chat amongst yourselves like he's not even there sometimes. felt like you wasted an opportunity.
I love Ronald and am thankful for your interview with him. But it was really frustrating to listen to. I wished you would have asked him more questions and let him talk more...
A jury can absolutely do a site visit, and it does happen (albeit not too often). They just have to all go together and all look at the same things at the same time.
It reminded me of the Wisconsin Parade Attack trial. If I remember correctly - the jury visited an evidence room with the car and they got to inspect the damages, seeing the strands of hair from victims stuck in dents and such (which is incredibly sad and unfortunate). But yeah it seems like it never really happens unless it’s certain circumstances.
Love Ronald he really does have a heart of gold. Would have been nice to hear from him more, maybe it was bc it was a virtual interview but there was so much I wanted to know
ronald is honestly so good at being a person. he has adapted almost seamlessly to this interview style and hollywood life, without actually having that hollywood upbringing. i feel like he can walk into any room and know exactly what energy to have
Come on guys you have on a guest that has experienced a once in a lifetime situation. No one else has ever been in the position he has been in and instead of letting him talk and picking his brain and getting all of his thoughts, y’all just kept talking about yourselves
I know people keep saying they wish Ronald spoke more but it seems he is genuinely a quiet and more observant person. I think we are used to seeing him talk because he was the main character in Jury Duty. But I think part of why he is such a great person is because he genuinely likes learning about others and hearing what everyone around him has to say. This was a great interview! Thanks for having him on.
I now want them to make an actual documentary about a jury duty and ronald gets picked and now he’ll be convinced it’s fake the whole time when it’s really real
so i commented about this on another vid, but yes, Jurys DO visit sites. Happened recently in the Alex Murdaugh trial, they went to visit the Kennels and see the distance from the house to the Kennels. The judge does go with them, and tell them a bit about the site, but i believe they CANT ask questions while their, they can look around, and not touch anything, but they can just understand the layout of the situation. But yes, it happens. (i just so happen to be a big law nerd, so ive seen that happen in a few cases)
It kinda wild that he's still working a normal job. At the point when they asked him to sign the releases so they could air the show he should've asked for $5 mil or something. "Oh, OK, so this is for an Amazon show? Amazon the trillion dollar corporation? Great, pay me $20 mil and I'll sign your release, otherwise you have no show after spending millions of dollars and months of time writing and producing it. What's another few million paid to me when if you don't pay me you have no show?"
Why do these guys have a podcast if they never let the guest speak???? Let Ronald speak on his situation and tell stories. We are here for him not you two.
You know he's was a teen in the 2000's with that G-Unit shirt. I really didn't believe this was legit until the last episode, I thought he was an actor too. What a sweet dude.
This dude really should get into movies, he has the movie star look and everything. His parents did a very good job of raising him. He was empathetic, kind, understanding but also showed great leadership qualities. I love how he saw "the inventor" in the weird guy and shows him the movie which contains a misunderstood inventor instead of seeing him as a weird creep (which lets be honest most of us would have and then avoided him like the plague). Instead he wanted to bring him out of his shell. Or how he was willing to take the fall for James and his turd, and the paparazzi incident and be the wingman for the nerd. What a lovely guy. He would make a great friend, I am sure.
I think $100,000 is pretty shit for being the star of a hit TV series. Like I'm sure Marsden would have made at least a couple million from this thing.
I like this interview but I wish he got to speak more. I wanted to hear mostly him talking about his experience and not just you guys talking about what you thought about it.
