Honestly his acting kind of made the movie too. It’s so great to see Jim Carrey back and being Jim Carrey again. So wonderful to see how much he enjoys it too.
We’re so lucky to still have Jim Carrey. As a kid of the ‘90s, I just always lump him with Robin Williams. So to see Jim still standing and in top form is a reminder to not take him (or anyone) for granted.
I'm so glad that Jim is able to find a healthy perspective on life, he seems so happy now. I think those years of him being true to himself and following his passion in painting really freed him up from the stresses of the industry. And it seems like he's just focusing on doing projects that make him happy which is awesome.
Jim passes himself off as a big jokester, in a way he is. But, he has thoughts like that and that in itself makes him smart. While that can be funny with the Sonic part of it, in essence that is a deep thought that really should stick with everyone.

I've been one of the biggest sonic fangirls for 20+ years now and the way Jim Carrey describes why Robotnik is so angry was the most beautiful backstory I think that character has ever been given.

I was moved when Jim was describing Sonic's spark and how he looks at the world with play, unlike Dr. Robotnic who lost his spark.
